Fixed the toilet leak

Scheduling was prompt and the service person, Jorge, arrived within the window alloted. He was professional and though rather talkative, he worked quickly. He was professional and explained what he was doing. He was tidy and presentable. The bill felt a little expensive, but they did bill in 1/2 hour increments, which is appreciated. I will hire them again when we do the additional work. Paying a little more is worth knowing the work will be done well and they will show up when promised.

Phone reception was bright and cheery and welcoming. Gave us a commitment for first thing the next morning. Arrived on time, very clean, polite. Did a thorough diagnosis, fixed the problems quickly. A pleasure to deal with. Not the lowest price but worth it for the experience and service. We will call again.

When I called to make the appointment the scheduler was polite, professional and worked with me to find a time I could be here for the service. Jorge was prompt, efficient, friendly and professional. Identifying the problem took some time, my house was built in 1952. The faucet had been dripping quit badly for awhile, I knew it would be a challenge. The fixtures are out dated and replacing them wasn't an option (I had purchased replacements in case that would be the quickest way to fix the problem). Jorge found the part that was needed to stop the drip in his tool kit, cleaned up behind himself and we were very happy with the results!

Dave was prompt and explained everything very well. Did a very good job of educating me on additional work if I wanted to do it - no pressure to do anything additional.

Very good. I will use them again. Plumber was on-time and very pleasant. He thought through creative solutions to our plumbing problems that saved us money in the long run.

They installed a new water heater and it did not work. I called them and they insisted on sending someone out that was not from their company. It was a timer that failed not the water heater. Apparently they did not check the timer when they installed the water heater. What was troublesome was that they insisted on sending out another service person from another company. It was eventually settled to my satisfaction. I had them do some other work even though I had some hesitation about it. They installed 2 different sink faucets and repaired a toilet. The work was shotty.

This is a follow-up to the previous call made by Kennedy. This time George came out and there was some serious down time because he couldn't find the screw up inside the bathtub faucet. However, between phone calls to my husband, and George's diligence, we were able to get it removed. George went further than the original plumber, Dave. George took the cartridge out and fixed a clog valve and then took the face plate behind the cartridge off and that is where a chunk the size of a large pea was found blocking the flow of the hot water. George removed the chunk and blew out pipes. We got it all back together and it worked like a charm. The persistence George demonstrated got the job done. It was a frustrating job but he did not give up.

Mike was prompt, efficient and cordial.

The plumber was a bit early (called first). The work was done quickly, he was polite and engaging. The hourly rate at $110 (?) I found a bit high; BUT, the quick work resulted in an overall cost for removing cast-iron and splicing in a new sani-tee was fine with me. Would use again.

Jorge, the plumber, was on time. He was very pleasant and worked hard to install the 3 faucets. The work was more complicated than anticipated and took almost 4 hours. Then, a sink leaked after he left. He came back after I called the company and fixed the problem. He also checked the dishwasher which was leaking and tightened the kitchen faucet which also leaked. I changed the dishwasher a week later. The charge was $624 including parts.

Joel called approximately 15 minutes prior to arrival time --first appointment 8-9am. Started at 8:30, finished at 9:45. Joel was considerate, friendly, knowledgeable. By coincidence we were having a problem with a gas hot water heater and furnace (pilot lights out simultaneously). Joel offered personal advice (disclaiming company area of expertise and responsibility)which was helpful to solving that problem as well. Joel set to work quickly and neatly. I opted to provide my own disposer which saved approximately $15-$20. The company had offered to install a product they have used consistently, but I was confident with a good quality name brand. Joel removed rust and debris from the faucet advising that our 50 year old pipes are iron and subject to rust. All systems are working great and we learned a lot. Neither my husband nor I have much expertise or desire to tackle plumbing repairs so Joel's time was worth the money. Joel is also the company's webmaster--jack of all trades.

Kennedy Plumbing installed a three piece tub/shower assembly in a very small (5' X 5') bathroom. They did an excellent job and we are extremely pleased. It was necessary for them to cut a small opening in an adjoining wall to make the tub fit and they did it very professionally. We found the company to be polite, efficient and they did the job as contracted, on time and very much to our satisfaction. They were also a lower bid than several other companies we researched. We will be using Kennedy Plumbing again for another job in a few months. Great company, Great people.

After a rocky start the work was completed. Initially Kennedy sent a ''plumber'' that did not speak English and was completely incompetent. The manager at Kennedy was called and a new plumber was sent. After that the work progressed well. They agreed not to charge me for the initial work.

The plumber they sent out (george) identified himself, was clean, on time and did a great job. He pointed out a few things I should know and also had me confirm when he was done that everything worked and there were no leaks. The price reflects a little extra time he took to check another bathroom faucet to confirm for me it could not be repaired. I will use them again and feel comfortable recommending Kennedy Plumbing. The price was within reason. Had I chatted less he probably would have finished faster :)

THE FIRST INSTALLER COMPLETELY BOTCHED THE JOB. THE GAS VENT RAN UPSIDE DOWN, AND NOTHING WAS DONE TO CODE. WE CALLED THE SERVICE MANAGER AND ASKED FOR IT TO BE FIXED, BUT HE SENT THE SAME GUY BACK -- WITH NO NOTICE TO US OF WHEN HE WAS COMING. WE CALLED AGAIN, AND HE SENT A DIFFERENT INSTALLER WHO WAS HERE FOR A FEW HOURS, BUT THE JOB STILL HAS CODE VIOLATIONS AND THE QUALITY OF REPAIRS WAS SLOPPY. WE CALLED KENNEDY PLUMBING AGAIN A WEEK AGO TO GET THE JOB FIXED RIGHT OR OUR MONEY BACK, BUT THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED.

WE USED KENNEDY PLUMBING'S JORGE LOPEZ ON TWO OCCASIONS. HE WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND SAVED US MONEY WITH HIS RECOMMENDATION AND WAS EXCELLENT AT CLEANING UP AFTER THE WORK.

THE PLUMBER DID A SUPER JOB. HE WAS POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND THE JOB WAS REASONABLY PRICED.

PLUMBER DAVE WAS GREAT. EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING AND TAUGHT ME TO DO SOME SIMPLE THINGS TO AVOID PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE. FUN AND EDUCATIONAL. WAS DOING THE WORK ON A WEEKEND, SO WAS PRICEY, BUT THAT WAS NOT UNEXPECTED - EVERYTHING WAS CLEAR BEFORE I AGREED TO HAVE HIM COME.

HE WORKED QUICKLY AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. HE CHECKED HIS WORK TO BE SURE THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED.

KENNEDY REP. REPLACED NEW FLAPPER VALVE WITH ORIGINAL. TOLD ME THAT THE TOILET IS A "DINOSAUR", AND HE DIDN'T KNOW IF PARTS ARE AVAILABLE TO FIX IT. HARD SELL ON NEW TOILET. PAID $104, AND TOILET IS IN THE SAME CONDITION AS BEFORE HE CAME OUT!!!

JORGE (GEORGE) ARRIVED PROMPTLY. LOOKED AT EACH PROBLEM INITIALLY TO SEE WHAT WAS INVOLVED. WORKED FAST AND HAD A THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT WAS TO BE DONE GIVING ME ANY OPTIONS, WHEN NECESSARY. I HAVE DEALT WITH KENNEDY PLUMBING IN THE PAST AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY SATISFIED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WITH HOUSEHOLD PLUMBING PROBLEMS.

THE KENNEDY SERVICE MAN WAS POLITE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE PERFORMED ALL STEPS QUICKLY AND METHODICALLY, LIKE HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE CARRIED SEVERAL MODELS OF DISPOSALS ON HIS TRUCK, AS WELL AS EVERYTHING NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB. HE WAS IN AND OUT IN MINIMUM TIME AND WE FELT LIKE HE WAS WORKING FOR US.

BECAUSE THEY DID NO ACTUAL WORK THEY CHARGED ONLY THE MINIMUM RATE FOR A HOUSE CALL, AND OFFERED SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS ON THE ANIMAL WASTE PROBLEM THEY DISCOVERED, AND GIVE ME SEVERAL REFERENCES.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH HOW QUICKLY THE GUY FROM KENNEDY PLUMBING CAME OUT AND BROUGHT HIS 100 FT. WIRE WHIP TO UNCLOG OUR DRAIN. WE HAD TRIED BUT WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. OUR DRAINS HAVE NOT RUN THIS GOOD FOR A LONG TIME.
