I would highly recommend Dream Maker Bath & Kitchen. The entire process went just as planned, which was a tough feat in the middle of a pandemic. We were given an itemized bid, showing all costs and any changes were handled with one off invoices, so there were no surprises. The work was done in a timely fashion and the quality of work was great, and Iâ m picky. Again, I wouldnâ t hesitate to recommend Dream Maker to anyone. Brett Balch

DreamMaker built our house for us (not their standard job!) The finished product was amazing! The best part was the ability to take our dream from start to finish without compromise. Joe was able to help us through the initial design process (no architect necessary) and then managed the actual construction. Paco is a gem and truly knows his stuff. If you are looking for good value combined with quality work, I would highly recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen.

They went above and beyond, even solving long time issues I had with water pressure in two sinks. They also fixed a poor dishwasher installation done by a different company a couple of years ago. The whole team was personable and easy to work with.

We had a big project, remove 3 walls, re-align a bathroom and a total change to the kitchen, adding an island were there was never one before. The design process went well but slower then expected. The demo and rebuild process took way longer then expected. Communication was extremely poor- no shows many days, short days many times. Expected a crew but often it was one person. The end results meet our expectations but the process to get there was very, very frustrating.

We spoke to the salesman in January 2017, and the job ended in late October. They had a very loosely written contract, which it turns out, was set up perfectly for them. There were several things that we asked for, and expected as normal work for a remodel such as prepping the walls around the entire backsplash. I had to do that myself. I also had to tear out and re-caulk the entire newly installed backsplash because it was not done well, there were gaps. You can't caulk over caulk, so I had to start over. There were also some cabinet slide in shelving which we got some of it but there were 4 cabinets that we also wanted it in but did not get. To their credit, they did finally give us some regular shelving where there was none. They also made us pay extra for cabinets because they said, after we looked and showed them what we wanted, that it would be extra, about $1000. What they said we originally wanted was really "plain Jane" cheap looking stuff. We got some that look a bit better but are still kind of cheap particle board stuff. Bottom line, make sure what you want is clearly written in your contract. Second, they originally gave us a 10% discount for paying up front. BIG mistake. Later in the extremely slow process, they added on and on. So really we paid way over by almost $5000. Over the original bid. They are slick, fast, and don't really give a rip about customers. There were several weeks where they would set up work days, and oops they forgot to show up. My advise is, go somewhere else. The workers are pretty good but not great. A costly learning experience, no doubt.

I have worked for a general contractor and I have hired contractors to complete projects. I understand the issues with work load, material purchasing and availability of personnel but that doesn't excuse the delay in communicating changes and delays to the customer with todays technology. I do appreciate the efforts made by management to work with my wife and I to work with in our budget and to complete the payment requirements working with a out of ordinary financial source. The finish work professionals were professional and respected the requests made on them while they worked in our home. The materials installed were completed professionally and there was no hisitation by management to make changes that needed to be made. DMBK completed the project as was outlined in the contract which I appreciate.

This is a building firm to avoid. We made a large down payment on a small bathroom remodel in February 2017 and finally had our 5' x 6.5' bathroom demolished the following October. After very little work was done beyond removing our only bathroom, and much of that rework of things that did not pass city inspection, we had to take out a loan to pay another firm to complete the bathroom the following March. We (two senior citizens) used a port-a-pot at the top of the driveway for 144 days all winter in Oregon, through ice and snow. When we hired competent professionals, the remodel took one week - and would have been done more quickly except that Dreammakers short ordered the tile we did have to work with........ Do not hire these incompetent bad people. Poor communications, repeated mistakes, shoddy workmanship. We have begun legal proceedings to recover the funds we provided DMBK/ Bender Industries and have filed a complaint with the State Construction Contractor Board.

Excellent, I have used DreamMaker in the past more than once and would definitely use them again in the future!! Josef Bender as well as the other staff have provided exceptional experiences from design to completion of every job. They are always professional, courteous, and pay particular attention to detail. The quality of work was excellent. The jobs were completed on time. The workers always arrived on time and the job sites were always cleaned up at the end of every day. Any problems or concerns were addressed in a timely manner and were followed through until resolved. Overall excellent experiences. This is not just a review of one project, but several. I have recommended them to my friends and they also have given him and his crew 5 stars. I am very picky. I expect to get my money's worth. I always feel safe and at ease when I know Josef Bender is in charge of my project. I take giving a review of a company very seriously. I recommend Josef Bender and his crew to do a 5 star job from the smallest project to multi-million dollar homes.

I've paid in full, so I have to ride this out. Please, no one else use this company! The cabinets they've installed do not look bad but, I've been out of a kitchen since December.

This was literally my Dream kitchen remodeling project. I have been planning for years to do a major remodel of my kitchen before I retire. I hired DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen because of their immediate response to HomeAdviser when I was replying to a representative asking about a previous project and asking about future projects I was planning. As soon as I hung up I got a call from DreamMaker and scheduled an estimate with Brandon. Brandon apparently is a very good salesman because I did have to wait in line longer then expected to get the project on the road. But it was worth it! Once it was our turn we got professional help with the design which included a virtual drawing of the kitchen so you could get a good picture of what the kitchen would look like with your chooses of counter tops, cabinets, flooring and even light fixtures. The results were far better then we expected. A month later we still feel like we are living in a dream using our new kitchen. So DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is a good name for the company because they did indeed create the kitchen of my dreams.

We experienced a lot of the issues recently posted in the reviews for DMBK. You're not alone! We basically had problems with them from the moment we signed the initial contract. We were promised a timeline (approximately 3 months for design, materials, and production) that they had of known was unrealistic. It took 8 months from signing of the contract to the finished product, which really wasn't a large project to begin with as there was no layout change other than adding a second sink to the vanity. Their bids/scopes are lump sum and do not break down by line items. You only know the end price. They initially refused to provide a breakdown of the cost of materials and cost of labor (which was only provided after threatening a refund, among other things) but only in a generic form - they refused to do it by line item. To this day, I still have no idea how much the vanity cost, the sinks, counter, mirror, etc. We didn't realize this would be an issue until after signing the initial contract with the deposit -- they then used the deposit as leverage to continue the project. Not getting that information first was our mistake. Terrible communication across the board. Poor attention to detail that required things to be fixed numerous times. Failed to pull permits (the project manager originally stated no permits were necessary but I was able to determine that he was wrong after a 5-minute google search) before closing up the flooring/wall so they had to go back and re-do work. Failed permit tests (because the shower pan leaked) and had to re-do work, again. The only saving grace, and to their credit, was their willingness to come back time and time again to fix the issues that came up instead of abandoning the project (though they made it seem like they were doing us the biggest favor in the world). They were also very good with our dogs.

I hired them to do two bathroom remodels. They came to my home and they did the measurements and all they needed to do, and then they had us come in and sign the contract and I agreed to what is was at the time... Then it came time for them to start designing the blue prints... I put a down payment of $7,000 which is 50% of the total price and they have had my money for two months now and I am just so done with this company, they keep giving me the run around, and I would like a refund for this whole mess... I was also going to give them more business after they finished but they have given me the run around so that won't happen now. The designer was in the hospital....she was this and she was that.. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back so I can find someone to do the RIGHT job!

I just purchased a house in need of a new kitchen. I also wanted to get the drywall repaired, paint, and base trim--all before i moved in. The staff at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen went out of their way to get my new home ready to move in, the paint and drywall repair looks fantastic. The kitchen is still in motion, currently polishing out the details before the crew gets to work. I am a student and have no time to even try doing this task myself. So far, i am impressed and appreciate all their hard work. Ill update with photos when this project is complete.

We were "sold" and promised the work would be done by the end of September. (Except for an unproductive attempt at locating a leak, It hasn't even been started yet.) We were rushed into signing the contract, and paid for the project. We were also assured that the DreamMaker plumbers would find and fix the leak without a problem. Now we have been informed that because the leak has gone on for so long the job might require more extensive repair and, therefore, be more expensive. . .

I lost my husband last year to a long battle with a degenerative disease. My oldest son moved out the beginning of last year, my daughter got married and my youngest son went into the army. So, in the last 24 to 18 months I went from a household of 5 to a household of 1. I had just remolded my previous home making it everything I’d ever wanted, so purchasing this home was initially quite depressing. Knowing that I didn’t need that big home any more didn’t ease the fact that the new one was tiny, outdated and didn’t feel like home. From the beginning I knew whatever home I ended up buying I was going to have to redo the kitchen at the least, so I started my research. I spoke with family members and close friends who are in various areas of the construction business. I spoke with the company I had do my last kitchen remodel. I researched review sites, Google searches of both your company and your name personally. My decision came down to reviews number one, then how I was treated and the honesty of your people. Others I spoke with would tell me, oh you don’t want that, when I would tell them my ideas. Well this was not my first remodel and YES I did know what I want, so that’s how I ended up with your company. Anyway, my house is now my home. It’s exactly what I wanted and not what someone else suggested. Its inviting, comfortable and warms my heart every day as I just look around and enjoy it all. I do truly thank you, well, mostly Paco! For everything.

Great work done and I am hiring them for another job in the kitchen. Only marks off were from a mix up in communication which resulted in a no show one day. They still completed the work on schedule. They are easy to work with and did a wonderful job on the bathroom.

I am very impressed by the work and flexible schedule of this company. Mike did a great job making sure the work was completed before our guests arrived. The tile work is beautiful! All the contractors cleaned up after they were finished, they were polite and professional. I would work with this company again.
