They are great. There's one person who you deal with. I made an appointment and they were waiting for me. They are very professional. They are prompt, they are fair, they just do the necessity things and they may ask you if you want to do something else and you could say yes or no. She was very personal and listens and knew exactly what I wanted.

When I arrived for my appointment a man approached my car and said "we're helping other people now, someone will be with you before long." After a 10-min wait in my car (which in itself was an unwelcome surprise), a service advisor came over and I reminded him that I was also going to need the VSA issue looked at due to the check engine light. He said "VSA? What's that?" How does a service advisor not know what that means? I told him "vehicle stability assist" and asked how long it would take, and he said 4 to 6 hours ... because they "only have one crew today" but I didn't have that much time. I asked if they had a loaner, which I've been given before at Beaverton Honda and he said no. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor, and he brought Amanda over. I asked about a loaner and she said no, not unless the work was warranty related (but I'd been given one before for non-warranty work) so then I asked about getting a ride home. She said she "didn't know where the driver is" and since she didn't see her inside, she "must be out on a delivery." She then said "you can rent a car at Enterprise up the street for $35." Seriously? I asked if she could phone their customer service driver and she said "well, it won't do any good." The entire time that Amanda spoke with me, she frowned and had very curt, abrupt answers .... not at all like the Beaverton Honda service staff I'd interacted with on previous service visits. When I told her that she made me feel like a very unimportant customer, and that she never smiled, she replied "Well I don't smile when I'm just talking to customers." Really? This is such a good example of how bad customer service can lose a formerly loyal client. I won't return.
Description of Work: Earlier in the week, I made an app't for an oil change at Beaverton Honda, 107th & Canyon Rd. for Sunday at 11am. Then on Thursday I called Beaverton Honda to let them know that the VSA Check engine light had come on, and she told me it would be taken care of on Sunday when I came in for the oil change, and added that she'd add it to the notes for my app't. However, due to the terrible customer service at Reception when I arrived, I decided against proceeding with any service.

In response to their customer satisfaction survey, we told this Honda service department that the (remote key entry/running) lights on the car still don't work. We explained that this was especially annoying since the Honda rep Derek called our home and was told that pounding on these lights with fists will sometimes get them working. Derek's disinterested response was, "they work now." They do not. We explained in their survey that we found the indifferent attitude amongst many of their crew disappointing and we provided examples. Their response to our comments was to send us another customer satisfaction survey. We have completed this second survey and have received no further response to date. We have no plans to return.
Description of Work: Original appointment was for regular servicing and repair of (remote key entry/running) lights. We ended up with fuel system flush, engine de-carb, brake job, and more.

I consider their pricing high. I probably will use them again in the future because there are not a lot of places to go. Availability is an issue. If you've got a problem they just can't seem to get themselves together to be responsive on something that requires a priority response. They did not used to be that way in past years, but they are that way now.

After buying a brand new Honda Odyssey here in 2000, and experiencing several years of mediocre service on the vehicle, I started paying more attention to comments from others about dishonest behavior by the service crew, and I decided not to do business with them again, and ended up at the Hillsboro dealership when I bought my 2012 Odyssey. They treated me right and I didn't end up feeling slimed after I bought the next van. In 2014 I had a relapse and bought a 2014 Odyssey back at the Beaverton dealership. I love the van, but I walked away feeling slimed again by the sales process. Despite promises of excellent service after I bought the van, each experience has been worse and worse. I don't trust what they tell me and they are clearly full of (stuff) when I ask them questions related to the strengths and weaknesses of the 2014 model. The latest was that I called in for required service that was essentially an oil change, and was told I had to wait several weeks for an appointment, or come in as a walk-in and wait for an undetermined amount of time. Do you think they are understaffed? Regardless, I have a job and can't afford to spend a day at the dealership. They didn't even seem embarrassed that they offered such poor service. I am taking the van elsewhere for service, and definitely won't be back to the Beaverton dealership again when it comes time to replace my wife's car later this year. Might go to Hillsboro again or to the Gresham dealership that has also treated me right.
Description of Work: Nothing. I took the van to a competitor for service.

I have a 2007 Civic Hybrid and the batteries were going bad around 115K miles. It was off of warranty. Regardless, the batteries are supposed to last longer. After requesting the dealer to go directly to Honda to get relief, I received what I believe to be about a 90% discount on the replacements.

I did not purchase my 2012 Odyssey here. But have taken it for one oil change and a recall issue without too much trouble. I recently had some persistent tire pressure issues and thought I might have to repair or replace the tire, hoping the warranty would cover it. When I contacted the dealer I bought the car from, they said it would take two hours and cost $115 to diagnose. Beaverton Honda said to bring it in for a free diagnosis. Both said that warranty coverage would depend on the problem. I took it to Beaverton, who found a puncture in the tire, sealed it, gave my car back in about 90 minutes and didn't charge anything for it. They washed the car and left a cookie in it for me. Great, trouble free experience, like a warrantied car should be!

We had a very good salesman. Tory was very helpful to us. We came in with a budget and were very specific to what we were looking for. They were very helpful. We ended up buying a car that hadn't been detailed yet so they brought us in and told us what they were going to do to the car. It was a used car. They ended up putting all new tires on the car, new windshield wipers, fixing up some paint things. We were very pleased with the finished results. We were also very pleased with, when you buy a used car there is a 150 points inspection on the car and we are very confident in the car. We also bought the extended warranty. We didn't get an amazing deal but we got a fair price.

I made the app't and the service personnel gave me a ride back home so I wouldn't have to wait in their shop for several hours, and later picked me up, something I appreciated.Their entire staff was courteous and friendly. I used a $50 discount coupon which they'd mailed to me.They also performed a "quality vehicle inspection" service check on many parts of the vehicle, and recommended particular items be serviced, such as a wheel alignment. They also provided a free car wash and even gave me a big cookie as the car was returned to me -- very nice!

I've got 85000 miles on the Honda Odyssey. Honda has a thing built into its computer system on the car where it comes up when the car is due for an oil change or various types of services. I've always taken my car to the Honda dealer because I've been happy with them. I trust them and they stand by their work. I've had a couple of recalls over the years and they've taken care of those. They are really good to communicate with. They e-mail me if there are any specials or things that they have going on.

I had a 1988 Honda before that I bought from them and I used them the whole time I had it. I now have a 2008 Element and I'm using them. I've been using them for a long time. I like the car, but my husband is not too wild about it because of the way the doors open, but it's the truck of the family. Overall, they are fine. Their price is average.

Overall I was impressed. The car had two different prices listed on two different web sites. I'd printed out the lower one and took it with me to the dealership. I was a little skeptical as the lower price was lower than KBB, The sales manager, Sheridan explained what had happened. While I questioned the explanation I did agree the pricing was low. They started with their listed (on the internet) price of the car and added a few things which I declined. The price was still much higher than my budget but they were willing to negotiate down to the $6500 including lisc/registration fees. Sheridan even "threw in" the 5 year security plan which they'd originally quoted as $199. He didn't have to do that, I'd already said I'd buy the car. I was most impressed with Ed Hatterle, the salesman. In addition to being helpful he didn't apply any pressure to buy either the car or the options. The most amazing thing was when I said I'd have to drive my car home and take the light rail back to pick up the new one he offered to follow me home and then I'd drive him back. Since I live across town (we're talking hwy 26 and I84 rush hour) this was no small gesture. I had been working with a not very helpful broker prior to going into Beaverton Honda. I feel like I got just as good a deal working with them myself.

Service technicians are friendly and the waiting room is nice, but the the time it takes to have work done and pricing could be better. After changing the cabin air filter, by glove box was not reinstalled properly (it made a scraping noise when I opened and closed it). I called the service department and they said they would take care of it, so I set up an appointment to fix the glove box. I was told that the adjustment should take a few minutes, but I had to wait an hour before my car was done. Beaverton Honda provides a thorough vehicle report with estimated costs for recommended services, but pricing seems a lot higher than other service providers.

Good - fair price, sales person spent time showing and explaining car, they found exact car I wanted in Calif, they installed the accessories (including moonroof) in 24 hours after I brought the car back. Not so good - (1) Saleseman offered fog lights as paid option, but they were included standard on my model. When I later checked and pointed that out, he just said "OK, if it says they are included, they are." But if I hadn't checked, I probably would have paid extra. (2) I was concerned about lack of seat adjustment (up, down, tilt, etc.) and salesman promised Honda was going to be offering it as option and he would contact me when it was available. I haven't been able to find any information on it or anyone else who had heard of this. (3) Finance guy offered "enhanced" warranty, security, coatings, etc., packages ranging from $3500 to about $20K (on a $20K car!). Was very pushy trying to sell me the $3500 package, telling me about various relatives who had needed it. His manager "approved a surprising price reduction to $1500" - over 60%. Rip off start to finish. (4) Salesman promised loaner car when I returned to have accessories installed, but finance guy later said they don't provide loaners. Made an exception since I had been promised. (5) They called with appointment for installing accessories and confirmed they would have a loaner. But when I got there, they did not have paperwork showing all the accessories I had paid for, or the additional one I had called about later (they did install everything without problem, however.) After I waited an hour for the loaner, they told me none was available and authorized a rental for me. I didn't have to pay the rental, but I did have to pay for insurance if I wanted it. Overall - they just seemed uninformed, disorganized, and possibly dishonest.

I was at Bob Lanphere's (Beaverton Honda) at the appointed minute; in fact, early. I went to two different lots because the address provided by Mr. Anderson in giant, bold font was the incorrect lot. When I got to the correct location, the receptionist located Mr. Anderson on his cell phone. She told me that Mr. Anderson was "too busy" to help me. I never saw him. A substitute salesman, Jeff Holley, tried to salvage the situation. Mr. Anderson had done nothing to prepare so Mr. Holley and I started from scratch. In fact, we learned that one of the cars I wanted to look at had already been sold. The other two cars were in the Service Dept and no keys to them were available to anyone. Consequently, we saw nothing but the outside of one car sitting in the dark on the Service Dept roof. Even the substitute salesman, who was very professional, had difficulty finding the cars we wanted to see. It looked to me that there is mass confusion at Bob Lanphere. That coupled with Mr. Anderson's lackadaisical performance made for a bad night. I left and bought a car at a different dealership that night.
Description of Work: I expected to be shown several used cars which I had selected from a Beaverton Honda internet ad. This information had been provided to a Mr. Chris Anderson by me via e-mail and we exchanged several e-mails including information on when I would be at the dealer and what I was looking for in model, price, etc. He agreed to take care of me.

I believe the 30k service was done competently, however my Civic suffers from a well known issue with the drivers seat. It relies on 6 bushings to stablize the up and down motion of the drivers seat height adjustment. These wear out prematurely and cause the seat to rock. Beaverton Honda repaired these for me as a courtesy once before so i was not expecting a free fix this time, however rather than fixing the seat and charging parts and labor they tried to sell me a new seat base @ $400.00 plus labor claiming that it 'must be some other pivot point thats gone bad'. There are no other pivot points. This seemed like an out and out fabrication. I no longer trust this shop to be truthful with me and I will avoid them in the future.
Description of Work: I brought my honda civic in for a 30k service as well as to address some problems with the drivers seat.
