The work itself was done to my satisfaction and I am extremely happy with the results. No more pools of water or waterfalls from the gutters! They were wonderful about cleaning up after they were done. In fact, my back patio looked cleaner than when they started. I also felt the price was very reasonable for the amount of work done, considering the installation of the flashing proved to be much more difficult than first estimated and they had to return several times. I am very confident in the work performed and will definitely use them again. My only advice to this company is to put more effort into communicating to its customers. The work took much longer than expected but I felt I was not kept in the loop as to where the project stood. Several times, I thought the work was completed only to find out they had more to do and there were difficulties in the project.There are many companies out there all competing for business and with the exception of specialized work, most can be successfully accomplished by any professional company. Providing outstanding customer service is the one variable that separates the men from the boys. Just by making that extra investment in time to keep customers informed will go a long way not only in repeat business but extend to glowing referrals.

The estimate was prompt and gave me two options to choose from for the moss removal and prevention. The service was also prompt, although the workers did not clear all of the leaves off of the patio covering (a plastic surface covering, not part of the composite roof), rather than clearing off the entire roof. They also blew a lot of leaves into the flower beds instead of cleaning them up. I had just finished cleaning out the flower beds before they arrived, and now I now have to do it again. I have no complaints about the gutter cleaning or the moss treatment, but for $515, I think they could have finished the job in a more professional manner, and that's the reason for the B grade rather than an A grade for professionalism and quality. Overall, though, I have used this company before, and I will probably use them again.

They were very prompt about coming out and giving a bid. They came out within a day or two to give us a bid. They gave me 3 different options. They gave me options of standard and premium service ranging from 170 $ to 340 $. The bid was a bit higher than I expected and that?s why I didn?t use their services. I might consider using their services in the future.

It went well. They cleaned up the mess and didn't disturb the planting.

At first thought they did a great job, but had to call them back due to a leak on the side. Standing water in the gutter? They did come back promptly but said it was ok. Later that day I noticed that the hose attachment had been left in the lawn and some of the gutter sheilds were not put back correctly (3 to 4 inch gaps)

Bob came out the day after my call to give me an estimate--he was on time and very helpful. Gave me the estimate at the time. Office called promptly to confirm and schedule things (the work was done in several stages). All the workers were friendly, polite and thorough. They worked fast and did good cleanup. Bob stopped by two more times during the process to check in, take a look at things and make sure I was happy. I was!

The gal who answered the phone was perky, but not very knowledgable. I asked what the radius of their service area was in miles when she said they didn't come out this far but she didn't know; she only knew that my town was outside of that. Google maps indicates that there are less than 25 miles between my house and their office - Angie's List shows 22.6 but may not show door-to-door distance.

Fair to poor. They were initially responsive, and I believe their diagnostician, Miguel, did a good job identifying the problem and solution. But when it came time to try to locate more effective vents against snow entry, they were of no help despite repeated claims they (the estimator) were working on it. I had to finally locate and order the vents. When they began installing vents and replacing shingles, there was a threat of rain, but Miguel said not to worry, the workers would only remove one section of shingles at a time. In fact the first thing they did was remove all relevant shingles, and in fact it did rain, and they threw all materials down off the roof, damaging a lounge chair (which they later repaired) and sending shingles throughout the trees and plantings, some but not nearly all of which they retrieved later. They claimed they had to do this to avoid flying shingles when the storm hit, but if they had first looked where they were dropping things, and cleaned up thoroughly later, that would have been acceptable. Then the bill came, simply repeating their estimates for number of shingles used. I counted all shingles used and discovered that their estimates were way high. They eventually came out, counted them themselves, and adjusted the bill, though it was still a couple of bundles higher than they had earlier agreed (which I refusted to pay for). Overall, good diagnosis, poor execution, bad faith billing.

This report does not grade on a curve. A or Excellent would require nothing of me except payment for services rendered. Office said crew would arrive 8:00-8:30 as I was the first job of the day.They arrived about 9:00 a.m. Estimator said replacement shakes would need to be premium heavies. He never got on the roof. Crew brought out mediums cedar shakes & said the roof had mediums on it. One could see where that would lead to a question in one's mind! Supervisor came out at my request. He said they were mediums. Delayed whole process by at least an hour. Crew spent approx 3 1/2 hrs on the job. Approx 85-90% of debris was removed from roof. Some debris left between & under cedar shakes. Roof had not been cleaned in 6 years, but still would prefer to have all removed. State it up front if certain areas cannot be reached. Requested front steps be hosed down again. Slipped going down them holding onto the rail on sooty dirt from roof or gutters after crew member had already hosed off. That stuff sticks to wood, concrete etc. Lightweight plastic mesh gutter guards laid on top of shakes & gutters. Were tucked in previously as per manufacturer's recommendation. Crew member said that's the way they're supposed to be. Time will tell if wind & rain will blow them off. Would be helpful if estimators or office personnel advise/remind people to remove or cover patio furniture; that they may need to clean the outside of their windows, decks, steps or patios because hosing down may not get it all off first time around. Requested to be added to annual cleanup calendar. Haven't heard anymore. They are all polite & curteous w/clean presentation. Office staff polite as well.

Our experience with All Surface was outstanding! The estimator, Adam Zumwalt, was prompt, thorough and was very patient in explaining what the job will entail and what different aspects of the job will cost. The office was also prompt in scheduling our job. The 2 men that did the job were on time, hard working, showed attention to detail and cleaned up beautifully.

The three man crew arrived on time as appointed, and began by working on repairing and replacing a lot of shingles (approx 13 bundles.) They then power wash the front siding and driveway after which they cleaned and treated the roof with CedarGuard. Finally they cleaned up debris and all removed shingles.

The moss (really thick) was swept off of the roof. The roof was then blown clean and the gutters blown out. They then came down and blew off the mess on the ground and cleaned everything very well. They even got the chunks of moss that were clinging to the trees. After this they sprayed with a moss retardent to prevent grow-back. The retardent is waranteed for three years. It was a tough job, the moss was three inches thick in places and the roof is two and a half stories up with an 8/10 pitch. They were wonderful. They last company that we tried just sprayed something on the roof and told us the moss would die and blow away in the wind - it didn't. I think the job they did was worth the price.

All Surface sent us a postcard reminding us it had been 2 years since they cleaned and re-strain our deck. We called the company got a cost estimate and set up a schedule. Within a week as per our schedule they came and power washed our deck and 3 days later after the deck dried, they re-stained our deck with a transparent stain. They covered our plants and protected our stone patio and house siding. They were very professional; they arrived on time and worked very efficiently. We are very satisfied with their work and end result. We do have one small complaint. We have a sandstone patio adjacent to our deck and we was disappointed in that they left a few drops of the stain on the sandstone which I have not been able to remove with hot water and soap (see attached photo). We found All Surface Cleaning in the phone book in 2004. At that time it cost us $1,600 to have our deck cleaned and re-stained. The work was all done by hand, since then they have mechanized the job somewhat. In 2007 we used them again and it cost us $880 to clean and re-stain our deck. In May 2009 they charged us $715 to clean and re-stain our deck. It is nice to see that we are getting a good quality job for less money each time we have used All Surface Cleaning.

They were very professional. Job was done in a timely manner. There were some delays due to weather but they did a great job communicating with us about rescheduling things.

The overall experience with this company was excellent. And the crew was very professional. We got multiple bids and their bid was not on the low side but we felt confident that this company would follow through and give us excellent service which they did!

IT went well - they showed up during time planned time period, went straight to work, and completed job in the mount of time estimated.

The men did a great job. Our gutters were full of debris and our roof had a fair amount of moss and tree leaves on it. Once they cleaned the gutters and roof they looked nearly new again! Once they finished they cleaned all debris up that had fallen around the house. They were courteous and let me know that they had to return at a later time to apply the moss treatment because it was beginning to rain! They were back a week later and everything went well!

They came out and got straight to work. The cleaned the roof until is sparkled. The gutters were winter ready. AND they cleaned around the house were debris came off the roof. My house was cleaner when they left!! Thanks guys.

The crew arrived as scheduled on a Friday after getting the estimate, I believe, the previous Friday. The 2 man crew was very neat and explained everything they were going to do. There was some discrepancy on their paperwork as to what services they were going to do, but it got straightened out. Because I opted for the liquid moss killer, the crew advised against applying it in the light rain that fell that day. They returned the following Monday and applied the moss killer and then did an exterior "wipe down" of the gutters. Hopefully the gutter flow product keeps debris out of the gutters as promised and if it doesn't work as promised there is a 20 year no-clog warranty.

They were efficient and on time, their prices were reasonable, and their quality of work was good.

Three employees of All Surface came to the house when the said they would, cleaned the roof, removed the covers from the gutters and cleaned the gutters, replaced the covers and sprayed the roof. They picked up all the debris. I have no complaints. The debris was placed in our yard debris recycling container. I don't mind them doing that, I do wish they had told me beforehand. This is a minor detail however. Overall we are quite happy with their services. The roof looks much better now.

We have used them several times. They were very good at each type of job that we have used them. We have and we will use them again.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS! Absolutely no clean-up on my part was necessary after job was complete. My roof now looks as nice as the day I moved in. I expected to see residue around house after job was completed - not a trace!

We got an estimate from Adam for Standard, Premium, and Ultra gutter cleanings. We've lived in our house for a year and haven't cleaned the gutters yet (yikes) and it was a rental before that. The gutters were neglected and dirty on the outside so we opted to have the ultra cleaning initially, then do a twice-yearly service at $85 each time. After the estimate they did the cleaning within a week. As far as I can tell, they did a great job.
