Description of Work: Rock hit front windshield leaving 3/16th inch chip with spikes radiating out 1/2 to 1 inch. My insurance company sent me to Safelite. Called their 1-800 # and was given an appointment at for their local facility at 2 PM the next day. Mobile service appointment,was not available until later in the week (4 days). Arrived at their facility approx 20 min early and checked in at desk. Repairman came out in about 5 min, we went to the vehicle and I showed him the damaged spot. He cautioned me that given the size of the chip and radiating spikes, the repair may or may not work. He took the truck into service area. I waited in a clean waiting area, with clean bathroom available. Repairman brought the truck back to me in about 25 to 30 minutes. The repaired spot was almost unnoticeable (almost like new) and he had cleaned all the windows and vacuumed out the vehicle. The cost ($75) was completely paid by my insurance company. I was most pleased.
