I just wanted to respond to (Member name removed) in regards to him calling and e-mailing us to set up an appointment. I did give him a call but didn't follow through. I have to say I dropped the ball on him and apologise for that. It is not our practice to treat customers that way. We are very customer oriented and do our best to accommodate all appointments and projects. I will be trying to get in touch with (Member name removed) to make sure he got the help he was searching for, and maybe just maybe he might still need us! The member is correct. It did take us month to get them an estimate. In our attempt to cover all the bases and provide them an accurate price as possible, we had a plumber, an electrician, a HVAC contractor and a structural engineer visit her home. We don't have much control over how long it takes them to provide us with their estimates. As for the price, we stand by it. The scope of work was extensive. We don't lowball bids just to get a client to sign a contract so we can sock them with massive extras later. If they indeed did do this project, I bet there wasn't $20,000.00 difference in price after the final tally.
