I've don't have enough time or enough history to really say but the only thing I noticed was the estimates that they gave me for the work I was wanting to undertake was way too expensive for what I thought it should be done. They are fine and nice people. They are courteous and timely. Maybe it could have been my fault because I was expecting something not quite so expensive.

Sprinkler system audit. Service seemed fine and they proposed repairs, but did not provide much in cost allocation between labor and equipment cost. I asked for more information, but have not received.

They came out on the date and time that was scheduled. They then scrupulously went through the entire lawn sprinkler system. They made changes to the system that had not been made by a previous sprinkler company that year before. Those changes were exactly what we needed. They were extremely friendly and did not waste any time. They even made a couple of suggestions regarding a bare patch that would not grow grass, as well as some rosebushes that were diseased that we were not aware of. Both suggestions were very appropriate and their ideas were followed by us. I would definitely use this company again!

Replaced sprinkler heads that were broken and reset others. Very efficient and professional. Can't go wrong using these people and will use them again in Spring time.

Looks really nice. It took a little longer to get it all done because of foul weather. But I'm very pleased with the results and will probably hire them next summer for a back yard landscape design and installation.

Excellent. He was prompt, pricing was very reasonable, his crew worked very hard, they did a great job, cleaned up afterwards, and worked very consistently with us on rock selection. We were very happy with this company from start to finish

He was not able to adjust many of the sprinklers, because he said they needed to be raised or repaired first. I agreed, and he sent me an email estimate of the repairs and adjustments that he wanted to make. I negotiated to remove some of the things he wanted to do, but came to an agreement for repairs to be made according to his revised estimate. He told me he was quite busy and it might be as many as two weeks before he got back. I told him that was ok. Several weeks later, I sent an email and ask if they intended to still do the repairs. Two weeks after I sent the email, he called and said he had been busy, but would come out in just a few more days. He never showed, nor has he ever contacted me again. I see he has run another audit special on Angies List, and I certainly hope others do not get hooked for wasting the audit fee, when this company evidently cannot keep their appointments or follow through on repairs.

I purchased Angie's Deal on 9/15/13 and requested, by way of email to the company on that same day, the dates I had chosen later in September that I would like for the service to be performed. I was never contacted but figured, due to the excellent price for the deal, that they were probably swamped. I waited a full month before trying again. Upon my phone call on 10/15/13, an appointment was scheduled for 10/19/13. John, owner and operator, arrived promptly with his wife and they were very informative and had great suggestions. They also took my own ideas into consideration and were very thorough in discussing ways to improve the looks of my yard. Before leaving, John promised that he would notify me by email within 2 weeks the cost for immediate improvements and an estimate for routine maintenance. He also assured me he could get to the work soon because I wanted it done before winter. In early November, when I had not received the estimate and thought maybe I had accidentally erased it in my spam folder, I phoned John. He said he was behind in submitting estimates due to the volume of customers but assured me I would get something by the end of the next week. It is now December and I have yet to receive anything. I am very disappointed that, not only did I not get all the services for my $125, but it is now too late to have the needed work done this year. I really think this company probably does good work but I've been unable to confirm that. At the very least, if something cannot be delivered as promised, the company should act in good faith and notify the customer of any delay. If I ever do get an estimate, I am hesitate to use a company with this type of customer service. In the event I receive some type of satisfaction for services purchased, I will update my review. But, until then, I cannot recommend Shades of Green Landscaping.

They were great. The guy met with me and showed me stuff. He did what he said he can do. The guy was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He explained things. He came out 2 weeks after I purchased the deal.

He found one broken sprinkler and replaced it. He tried to adjust the settings on the control box. We have asked him to come back and replace a couple of sprinkler heads.

He did a couple of plans but we did not like them and his prices were not in our budget. He did not follow up with us.

Performed an inspection on our system and made any adjustments necessary, maximizing it's full potential

We received a rather amateurish drawing of a plan for |our pool area and beds which was emailed to us. We did not |choose to use the provider for our update of the deck and beds.

They evaluated our system and made recommendations. They corrected one problem while they were there. We asked them to come back and do the recommended repairs. However they have never came back. We have emailed them several times but they have not come yet.

They came out and did a landscaping proposal. It went well but do to the response from people on Angie's list they have not been able to do the work yet. I had to contact them but they are very friendly and knowledgeable.

It was very good. They were a team of four who always come. They were very efficient, very well organized, and very professional. I think they did a good job and I would use them again. Their price is reasonable.

We had a big deal purchase for a full sprinkler audit. They were good. Came out on time. Did the work they said they would going to do and I ended up hiring them on for some additional work on my sprinkler system. It seems to be working fine. They came on time, gave a good price.

Very well early thing works great, ready for next year.

They went about the yard and turned on/off each station to see how well it worked. For the estimate, we have not decided anything yet, so they have not started any work yet.

After checking the sprinklers, he told me he would email me with information on my system. I was confused because I expected a tune up and for him to at least schedule my timer correctly on my sprinklers. He did not. He told me I had hard pipes and therfore he couldn't replace or move the heads to adjust them. Then I received this ridiculous email. It took two weeks for him to get the plan to me and when he did, we were not very impressed. It was not very creative or attractive in our opinion. However, he did take our feedback and sent in a redesign which was better. I do not think we will go ahead with it as it seemed like a lot of money for a design we were still not very excited about.

My experience was fine. The sensor that was replaced keeps the system from turning on in freezing weather when it is raining. It was really good and they were very nice and thorough.

They did a nice job checking on the coverage and the alignment of sprinkler heads and made several adjustments. Recommended replacing two heads and I had them do it while they were here for $20 each head. Easy to work with, prompt and quickly worked through the system.

He seemed experienced in his field but I doubt he will get all the jobs dome before winter. There are several companies in our area that give free estimates.

We called for the Angie's Big Deal and made the appointment for the service. We had to change due to having some concrete work done which interfered with the sprinkler system. A week or so later the came out and provided the initial service as well as replacing some of our system that was torn up during the concrete work. They did the work in a very timely manner and did a great jib. We have had no problems with the system since they were here.
