Description of Work: This was my first time ever using Angie's list. I choose Metric Motors in part due to the high rating they had. After speaking with Brian about my Impala, I decided to give them a try. The work performed was impecable, the price was very resonable compared to the other estimates I had. Bottom Line, they fixed my car quickly, affordable and it drives better than before I brought it in.Thanks Metric Motors, and Angie's list!

Description of Work: I took a used VW car to Metric before buying. They seemed very professional and gave it a clean bill of health. However, the car turned out to be a disaster purchase - many things went wrong right away. Since I liked the service advisor I'd dealt with, I took the VW back to them numerous times. The first few repairs went fine- easy to deal with, but they did not install OEM parts as requested. They also aren't the quickest -- usually miss their estimate, sometimes by a lot. The last two repairs I had done were so bad I could not believe it was the same place. Misdiagnoses, wrong parts ordered, and such a poor repair that I made it about 10 miles before the major issue resurfaced and I was forced to cancel a trip. If you have a German car, I would not recommend metric based on the declining experiences I have had.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with this service. They successfully repaired the air conditioner on my Dodge Durango for 192.89. The Dodge dealer had estimated over $1500. On another ocassion, I was given free and accurate advice about why my "check engine light" was on. The dealer had blown that into something hugh also. I feel these folks do an honest and expert job.

Description of Work: I have been a long time customer and have brought my vehicles in for very complicated issues. Everything they tackle was addressed correctly and quickly. They do their best to replace with genuine parts, if possible. Their front counter staff is exceptional and their mechanics are second to none. I highly recommend this company. I am a loyal customer and not just someone trying to advertise for them. They simply deserve recognition. They know their imports and will give you honest opinions about a make and model before you buy it if they've had any experience with the vehicle in the past.
