+ -1 moreMy husband called YP for a quote to fill our tank. We’ve been customers of theirs for years. My husband price checked the price per gallon with other competitors and found YP to be 44 cents more. We’re talking hundreds of dollars difference. So my husband called YP and asked them to price match. The man said he would have the owner call back. When the owner called my husband, he was sarcastic and rude. Calling my husband a “troublemaker “ and calling us “bad customers”. My husband told the owner that we have 3 small children, to which the owner of YP replied, that we all “can freeze”. He continued to berate and cuss and call my husband names during the conversation. I want others to be aware of people like this, who get defensive and aggressive when they are questioned about their pricing. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t try to save a few hundred dollars by simply asking. His reaction was unjustified and simply unprofessional. YP is coming to pick up their tank leaving us with no heat for a few days until a different company can’t bring us one.

Description of Work: The company installed a new fireplace at my residence. The work was performed with competence, care, and was completed on schedule. Representatives and installers were professional, courteous, and responded in a timely manner when I communicated a concern nearly one year after the fireplace was installed. I am most pleased with the quality of the work performed by Youngstown Propane, Inc.

+ 0 moreI had an issue with my propane fireplace not lighting. I called Youngstown Propane and they were able to come out rather quickly. The technician cleaned out some dirt in the pilot light area and he was able to get the fireplace working. They could have replaced parts and charged me more but didn't and with honest people like that, I am sure to use them again. Very good experience.
