If I could give WyattWorks higher than an A I would! We noticed sewage was leaking into an air vent located under our kitchen sink. We called WyattWorks and Ben and Carmen were able to come out that day. They were extremely professional! They immediately gave us their business card and put on shoe covers to protect our floors. They spent a very long time assessing the situation, since this wasn't a straight-forward job. They even used Facetime with Andy, the owner to get his input. They figured out a sewage line was broken under our slab, and it was going to require them to get into our slab to fill the old line and reroute with a new one. We were overwhelmed at the news and the cost of the procedure, but Ben was very understanding and suggested we try to see if insurance would cover it. We wouldn't have thought to file with the insurance company if it wasn't for him! Andy spoke to our insurance representative for us and was able to get majority of the repairs covered. They started the job on Wednesday and worked extremely efficiently. They were able to get the slab jack-hammered, cap off the old pipe and lay down a new PVC line. Ben and Carmen were on a roll and decided to stay later to turn the 3 day job into a 2 day one. They left with majority of the job complete, cleaned up the jack hammer large rubble and put particle boards down so we could get to our upstairs. The following day they came and layed the cement. Our job was messy by nature with the jackhammer so we had alot of dust in the house. Andy the owner went way above and beyond to put our house back together and make us completely happy. He personally came out with a few of his guys and cleaned every bit of dust. They left the house cleaner than it was before they started and rented a HEPA air scrubber to filter the air all weekend. I am completely happy with WyattWorks and will definitely be using them in the future!!

[Member name removed], Thank you for those kind words. We appreciate you as well. The contractor/client relationship is a two way street. WyattWorks is always willing to work for whomever, but the patience and understanding of both you and your wife go along way. I called WyattWorks based on Angie?s list reviews and a couple word ?of-mouth recommendations. They were outstanding! The receptionist was very helpful. She helped to get someone out that same day, since I would not be home again for several days. Water had been backing up through the drain in my basement and was particularly bad on the day I called. Ben C. and an assistant called to let me know when they would arrive, and they were on time. Ben listened to my description of the problem, examined the situation and prepared a quote for the work . I received a significant Angie?s list discount, which was awesome. After agreeing to the price, they set to work. The culprit proved to be masses of small roots which had worked their way into the sanitary sewer line through the joins in the clay pipes. The work took longer than they expected (4 hours) and required the use of their in-line camera and hydrojet to clear the lines, working both from within the basement and from the clean-out in the yard. They stuck with the job until all roots were removed, and then cleaned up what ended up being a very big mess in the basement. Ben was polite, focused, and skillful in handling the problem. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Importantly, they stood by their original estimate even though it took longer than they anticipated. . They did excellent work, and I will certainly call them again if I have plumbing issues. You should call them too!

Service was professional and quick. Installed a new hot water heater and cleaned the drain in less than 4 hours. I will say that the cost seemed high. I got charged $49 for them just to come out and another $99 for a "Service Agreement" in addition to the over $1000 for the hot water heater change. Those extra fees negated the $100 coupon I was able to use for the hot water tank. I was in a pinch since the heater was leaking, but the workmanship seemed excellent and was done quickly. The cost and fees might be typical for a plumbing contractor, this was my first time hiring one.

My pilot light went out on my water heater and when I called them to help, they had a plumber come out the same day to re-light it. When it happened again, it was time for a new water heater. They were able to work with my schedule and came early on a Friday to complete the job (earlier than estimated which was great). They applied the service charge of the first visit to the overall charge for the water heater on the second visit. They give a warranty on their work and it is great to be able to call a local company if I have issues.

Luke Wyatt came at short notice and repaired gas leaks in my father's old house. The gas company alerted me of the gas leaks, and I called Wyattworks on a Friday. He came first thing the following Monday morning. He fixed the gas leaks and upgraded several pipe valve handles. Luke was very polite and answered my questions. The cost was reasonable. I would definitely contact him again.

All three techs we dealt with were highly professional. First, they got a tech out on a federal holiday, and I called that morning. The plug was beyond his tools. We scheduled another visit at our convenience. After checking for a grease trap (based on our homes age and some possible indicators), they cleared the clog. They also noted my sump pump (moving laundry water into the sewer), had a rubber sleeve with two hose clamps that were leaking. There was also no back-flow preventer, so all the sewage in my house could end up in the basement of the line failed. Thank you, former owners. They installed the back-flow preventer and replaced the rubber hose with stainless steel pipe with rubber gaskets that may be the strong point in the system now! Also reworked my under sink plumbing to minimize debris collection in the lines, which so far has worked to keep clogs at bay!

Technician arrived as scheduled, put on his in-house shoe covers and looked at the toilet job. Suggested several options for consideration. Removed shoe covers and looked at outside spigot job. Completed spigots and went to supply store to pick-up toilet. Both jobs were completed quickly, all mess was cleaned up and job site was left clean. Technician was professional and courteous. Prices were a little high, but I guess that goes with the profession. I didn't like that there was no estimate provided prior to the site visit. Also, a call charge was added to the bill. I assumed that this would be a charge if the job was not completed, and removed if the work continued. We are completely satisfied with the work and would use Wyatt Works Plumbing Service again.

From the minute I sent an email at 0500 hours on November 13, I had a reply in less than two hours and an appointment for the next day. I was shocked. Everyone I spoke to directly or indirectly was very nice. Ruth called early Friday morning to advise me that Jamal (technician) would be a tad late due to traffic and weather. That was no surprise to me because of the snow storm but the call was appreciated. When Jamal arrived he apologized repeatedly for being late. Nice guy and it was well understood why he was a tad late. It was really not that late at all. Jamal asked me to explain my plumbing problem and then to show him. He was attentive and friendly. He understood my problem and explained the solution, he also explained why I didn't have success completing the job. He did so in a way that was not condescending, more like a friend explaining a solution to a problem. The job was done is 30 minutes or less. No mess, no fuss. I have now found a company to call with all my future plumbing problems or improvements. It was really nice have my Angie's List discount already on Jamal's handheld computer. The final cost of $123 was great. I say it was great because I labored for hours with multiple snakes trying to unclog my slow drain, so I can appreciate the speed and precision of Jamal's work. I even worked directly from the main pipe, having removed all plumbing previously. I strongly suggest you call WyattWorks if you need plumbing services. I would not spend my time writing if I did not fully believe in this company. I am not related or a friend of anyone at this company. I am also a first time customer.

I emailed a request for a quote, and the next day, I had an appointment set up. Two guys came (on time), took a look at my job, wrote an estimate on the spot. I agreed to the work, they went to a supplier to stock up, and 2 hours later--finished! We have an older house (1930s) and that didn't bother them at all--they're very used to working with older, sometimes quirky, plumbing. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and were very pleasant to work with. I'd definitely use them again. Thanks, Josh and Jamal!

Everything went very well! The two plumbers were on time, courteous, and efficient. When an unexpected complication arose, it was quickly addressed with no additional cost. The work has proven to be great quality; I will use WyattWorks as my plumber moving forward! ***edit 9/29: When I finally went to connect the water line to the new refrigerator, I realized that a piece was missing (it was provided at installation but had been misplaced). Mr. Wyatt missed the first scheduled appointment without calling, which resulted in me missing half a day of work. When I called, they insisted that they had called and left a message. When I asked what number they had called, the phone number they gave me had two of the digits reversed. I foolishly rescheduled the work for the next week. When they arrived the next week to do the work, they were late, but phoned to say that they had been called out early that morning on an emergency, which I understood. When they arrived mid-morning, it was Mr.Wyatt's son and another young man who appeared to be in training. They worked for about two hours to run the new gas line and finished. When the work was complete, I inspected it before writing the check. Good grief! They had put dozens of deep scratches in my new hardwood floors from dragging the new fireplace back-and-forth across the floor rather than simply lifting it or measuring for the gas line location. The floor plate of the gas valve has been crudely cut in half as they had improperly located the large hole they cut in the floor and had to put the valve smack against the wall. They had also located it right in front of the electrical outlet I needed to use for the fireplace. To attach the floor plate, they used drywall screws without pre-drilling the holes and had put a 10 inch split in the first row of flooring. When I saw the work and said that it was unacceptable, he said, "no one is going to see it behind the fireplace." There were also greasy black handprints all over the wall (which required the wall to be repainted). They had also crudely cut out a notch in the bottom of the fireplace cabinet to accomodate the gas line, and in the process gouged a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square of the flooring with the tip of the saw blade. I told him that I was very upset by the damage and that he needed to call his father immediately. He went outside and spoke to his father on his cell phone and said that they have a family friend who does flooring, that they would repair the damage, and that they would have the person call me that afternoon. At that point I told him to get out of my house. When I had not heard anything by mid-afternoon I called the office and spoke to Mrs. Wyatt. I told her that I was p***** beyond words at the damage done to my home and terrible quality of the work. She said that they were trying to reach the flooring person; I asked for, and received, his name and number so that I had it in case they did not reach him that day. I called again at the end of the day when I had still not heard anything and this time spoke to Mr. Wyatt. He was very rude, loud, and refused to let me talk. Appparently his son had told him that I had cursed him out; when I finally was able to speak, I told him that my wife had heard the whole thing and could tell him that that was not true. He continued yelling stating that "even if my son had destroyed your entire floor, you can't talk to people that way." Apparently it was o.k. for him to yell at me on the phone however--I'm not certain how that logic works. I suggested that if he did not like my characterization of the work (I called it "crappy") that he should come over immediately and look what his son had done and the damage done in the process. He refused to come look at the work or the damage, said that there was no charge for the work done today, and that we were "done here." I laughed and said that it was nice of him not to charge for sub-standard work and for damaging my home, at which point he hung up. It took three months to get the person that Mr. Wyatt was paying to repair the floor out to my home to do the job. During that entire period I was unable to connect the new fireplace, which sat in the middle of the living room awaiting the repair of the floor. In the end, the flooring person had to cut out and replace the damaged flooring but did a wonderful job. I did not see the bill, but based upon the cost of the new flooring and five hours of labor for two people, I suspect that young Mr. Wyatt did nearly $1000 damage to my floors, not counting the cost of me re-painting the wall. I called another plumber to run the gas line, and he did it for less than half of the price the Wyatt quoted.
Description of Work: Wyatt was supposed to run a short gas line from the basement through the living room floor to connect a new ventless fireplace.

Unfortunately, this job was not handled in a way that is consistent with the majority of our workmanship. We offer no excuses and admit that from the beginning to the end it did not go well. We apologize to (removed member name) for all of it and made good on having his floor repaired by the best flooring person we know. I am sure it is hard to believe by the review that WyattWorks Plumbing strives to exceed in customer satisfaction and professionalism, but that is the case. Why this job went so wrong is extremely unfortunate for a customer that we truly wanted to please, but again, it did not and we take full responsibility for it and made every effort after the fact to rectify the issues. We have been in business for 38 years and have an excellent reputation which can be verified by the many A ratings we receive from our customers. This review is unfortunate for our company but our customers can be assured that we will learn from this mistake and make sure nothing like this happens again.

Wyatt works was prompt in answering the phone and set up a visit the SAME day. They showed up exactly when they said they would. It is a family run business with LONG TERM accountability- a rarity these days. . What was really impressive about Andy Wyatt was his thoroughness and thoughtfulness in how he approached a difficult and vexing problem. He went the extra mile to call the city several times, and speak to the sewer representative directly. I have had several plumbers try to solve this problem over the years and Andy was the ONLY one who had the careful approach to solve it. He also also made a digital map of the plumbing connections of my property so that any future work will be with full knowledge of my complicated plumbing drainage systems. He took the time to explain my problem directly and was creative in coming up with a solution that was relatively inexpensive . I would highy recommend him and will continue to use their services in the future.

Mr. Wyatt was very professional, pleasant and prompt. I knew up front that the service call would be $ 75.00 regardless of whether we had him fix the problems or not, so that was no surprise. He explained the scope of the work and the cost -- $ 400 total (including service call fee.) It seemed like a lot. Our built our home 14 years ago. We are the only two who live here. I asked why the fee was high and he said he had the needed parts on the truck. Also, fitting the pipes together (under the sink where the clogs were) was not easy. He admitted the job was straight forward and would take an hour or two. I had the service fee invested, so I said to go ahead. An hour later he was done. He presented the bill -- $400. That's a lot of money for one hour + of work. Luckily, I looked on Angie's list for his company (again) and there was a $50 coupon. I asked him if I could apply it, and he said "yes," so the final bill was $355. I thought that after our conversation about price he should have asked if I was a member of Angie's List to help me save $ 50, but he did not do this. (I have had other contractors ask me this.) So, all in all, the work was done, and was done right. But the cost was excessive.

[member name removed], Thank you for commenting on the work that we did for you. I understand your concerns about price. I would like to respond to you regarding our charges. It "is" a lot of money to have a professional technician come to your home, I agree. The $355 you paid does not go into the technician's pocket however, Only about 25% does. So what are the reasons for the balance of the bill? When you call WyattWorks Plumbing you get a pleasant live person who will answer the phone, listen to your concern, and do what is possible to meet your schedule. You won't be talking to an answering machine. We are available to talk 24/7. When your job comes up it is dispatched electronically to a clean, professional, highly trained service tech that you can trust. When the truck pulls in the drive it will be a clean organized warehouse shop on wheels. The Super Truck comes fully stocked with water heaters, toilets, faucets, parts, pipes etc... Saving you time and adding convenience and there won't be oil stains left over when he leaves. When your professional tech evaluates your plumbing problems you will have everything explained to you including the cost. The charges are not pulled out of the Tech's head rather, they are based on actual costs from our standard pricing menu shown to you upfront on the iPad. Nothing is done without your approval ahead of time. This includes the service fee of $49 which is agreed to over the phone prior to the visit. (I believed you mentioned a fee of $75. The fee is actually $49) Your work will be guaranteed by a licensed and insured company that can stand behind it. WyattWorks has a 35 year history in the greater Cleveland Market. I like to describe it this way. One can have lunch at a "Sonic" fast food chain, or one can go to "Panera Bread". I like to think of WyattWorks as a Panera Bread.
