There was no hiked up emergency call out fee, and in total the job cost 277 bucks (which I think is a very reasonable price indeed, especially to save my basement from becoming a remake of The Poisedon Adventure. And, to top it off, Josh was a really cool and personable guy. All in all, these are now my Go-to Guys when liquid-based disaster strikes!
Description of Work: We had an emergency today, when a leak at our tenant's house was producing a steady sprinkling of water in the basement. I rang WyattWorks and they sent someone out within 90 minutes. Josh was the technician, who first of all shut off the water and diagnosed the situation. He then presented me with a range of very transparent and reasonable options, with literally zero pressure to go with the more expensive ones (I went with the cheapest). He completed the job diligently and carefully and so was up and out the door, leaving no mess behind, within about an hour.

This is one of the best reviews yet! It's nice to know you don't need your scuba gear just to go into your basement. ;) Josh is one of our lead techs and always seems to please the customers. Thanks so much.

Moisture in basement. After multiple consultations with Andy and Ben as to possible causes, decision made to jet and examine downspouts from house to street. Found one broken downspout line beside the house which was excavated and replaced, and two drains which were blocked with debris and roots, both of which were cleared. Ben head up the project. Efficiently and professionally accomplished. Would be delighted to work with Ben and his colleagues again.

Wyattworks was very pleasant and professional throughout the whole process. I had Luke out on Friday to clear a washing machine floor drain. After it went smoothly, Luke was checking it was clear and we discovered a larger blockage in the main. Luke did not have the right equipment with him to clear the main so made a quick call to the home office and confirmed that the truck that had the right equipment would be back with him in the morning. They were back bright and early Saturday morning to finish the job. Throughout the process Luke and Ben showed me what they were doing and explained in depth what they found. Prior to doing any work on both days Luke provided a quote for the job as well as for possible worst case scenarios. After a few hours of hard work the main was clear. They also repaired a minor leak on my outdoor faucet. No one ever wants a plumbing issue, but if it means having to call Wyattworks that is the silver lining. I will absolutely recommend them and use them again.

I called in the morning and inquired if Wyatt would be able send anyone the same day. The customer service was extremely professional and they were able to match me up an available technician, Ben. Ben was punctionual, professional and clean. We went through various issues beyond what my initial call was about. He qouted me a price to take care of everything and was able to finish the work in a timely manner. My overall experience was nothing short of excellent.

It was a Saturday. The technician on call was extremely helpful, let me know when he would get to the house and called me with an updated estimate as to when he would arrive. He walked my husband and I through a plan of action, costs, and a Plan B if needed. He was able to clear the line by jetting it. We could not have asked for a more helpful, friendly, positive experience. I would definitely recommend Wyattworks and will use them for future plumbing needs.

Late on a Friday night, out hot water tank broke. We were resigned to spending the weekend taking showers elsewhere until we could get an appointment early next week. However, we were very fortunate in contacting WyattWorks Plumbing who sent a technician that same day. I assumed he would order a new hot water tank and return on Monday or Tuesday to finish. In fact, Benjamin installed a new one immediately on a Saturday late afternoon and early evening. He was knowledgeable, skilled, clean, and courteous. Couldn't have asked for more! We highly recommend this company.

Our experience with Wyattworks was fantastic! They were very responsive, coming out just a few days after our initial call to assess the issues. The actual work was completed in a very timely manner. They were extremely polite and efficient as well as respectful of our home. The work completed was beautiful and everything works perfectly. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing issues!
Description of Work: Josh and Benjamin broke up and removed our old 3-tub sink replacing it with a new 2-tub sink. They re-routed the plumbing for this as well as moving the location of the sink. They also replaced all of the valves on our manifold and replaced the water pressure regulator.

Prompt response on a Sunday morning due to a call for sewer line backing up. Ben was at our house in less than an hour and working on the problem. Ben explained what it could be as well as the methods that would be used to correct the problem. Everything went as Ben had planned and he went the extra mile to minimize any cleanup in our basement. This situation could have been much worse, but Ben's prompt response, courteous attention to detail, and his work ethic all played a part in our successful outcome. We would not hesitate to use this company again and I would definitely request Ben!

We thought we'd be without a kitchen sink for at least a day, and they came out the same morning without charging an additional "emergency fee." Luke and Pete were very professional and efficient. They called ahead and arrived on time. After examining the issue, Luke explained the problem and the various options for repair without pushing for unnecessary repairs. The work took about one hour in total, and they cleaned the work area before leaving. I would definitely call them again for service and highly recommend the company!

The ultimate nightmare scenario was averted by Josh and Benjamin from WyattWorks Plumbing. It was 3 o'clock on New Years Eve and a tenant calls and tells me the bath tub shower is not draining. I put a call into Emily and she was able to get a crew out that same day to help clear the clog (about 2 hours after I placed the original call). The trap that Josh and Benjamin had to negotiate was extremely tight and could not be accessed with a snake. I was certain they were going to have to cut a hole in the ceiling, from the floor below, to access the line. Thankfully they had an alternate solution that did not involve removing drywall or inconveniencing the tenant anymore. While they were at it the cleared the bathroom sink, which was also draining slowly. Once they were finished they both cleaned the entire bathroom and put everything back where it was when they got there, saving me the hassle of doing that. I was even able to get back to my family in time for the New Years celebration, which was greatly appreciated. I will certainly be calling WyattWorks for my next plumbing emergency!!

Getting the appointment was a breeze. Emily was wonderful. She told me exactly what to expect. Ben called ahead of time to confirm his arrival. He and Carmen were on time and at the house for slightly less than 2 hours. They were polite and professional. They cleaned up after the job was done. They have great technology that shows you exactly what the job will cost. Ben also made recommendations to help keep the drain open. I'd gladly hire WyattWorks again.

Initially I searched for a certified plumber for re-routing the outdoors gas line (including city permit, and city inspection). I had two offers from which I chose Wyatt Works: first, because their offer was 2/3 of the other one; second, because they didn't charge me for the visit and evaluation of the project (as other one did). Meanwhile the very old water heater (~20 years old A.O.Smith 50 gal.) started to leak, so I searched again for two offers - initially I looked for A.O.Smith local providers and got an quote from one of them. Their response was quick, but not as quick as Wyatt Works (which was immediate). I didn't get A.O Smith though, Wyatt installed me a Bradford White with the same specs and warranty (and $100 less). I'm very satisfied with the outcome! City inspector was also impressed with a neat installation of the gas line! Many thanks, Luke and Pete!

This property had a clogged basement drain (branch line not main). Every time the washing machine ran, the basement would flood. I had another provider come out and snake the main line as well as this branch line. He was able to get the main line open, but could not get this branch, which is where the clog was. I called Wyatt and explained all that I had tried and they assured me there would not be a problem, as long as the pipe was intact. Luke and Pete came out and had a narrower diameter snake/hose that was able to navigate through the narrow trap to the clog. Once the jets were turned on, the clog went away in no time flat. Luke ran the hose back a forth for a while to make sure the branch line was clear all the way to the main line. They showed me the jet head and how it worked and I am impressed. They were very friendly and professional, answering all the questions I had. I would recommend them to friends and family for sure.

My wife and I needed a clogged drain opened. After getting quotes from a couple of other plumbers, WyattWorks (Ben) was the only one who's solution didn't require our basement being demolished. When Ben and Carmen got to my house, we discussed what was to be done, and they got right to work. They even saved us $200 by not needing a pump for our bar. They were great and I am so happy with the work they did. But it doesn't stop there, they were very professional and a pleasure to have working in my house.

Pretty well... while it perhaps was a bit more expensive due to the nature of the specialized equipment involved in the scoping, but not that much different than several other providers we reached out to. They did a thorough job and explained what was going on the whole time (and didn't mind me watching/asking questions). When they did find something that the technician had not seen before, he was able to take a picture and immediately send to the home office so that more experienced technicians/his boss could review it and provide feedback (turned out to be nothing of concern, just an unusual tie-in of the footer drain). Toilet repair was straightforward and completed quickly and professionally.

The water was leaking down to our kitchen from a bathroom upstairs. There are several places the water could have been leaking from but they identified the source immediately. They also identified a couple of other issues that could have been even more problems if they hadn't found it. These two gentlemen, Ben and Josh, were super professional and extremely into their jobs. You just don't see that kind of professionalism any more. Thankfully we have found a plumber for life!

My tenant texted me that the garbage disposal was leaking. I called WyattWorks to check it because they were the only company that had somebody available on that day. The lady talked nicely over the phone, and said that somebody was around that area, and would be able to check the leak and give me a quote. He did call me saying that the garbage disposal was broken and needed to be replaced. Here is the story: he said the work would cost me more than $600! but he would weave the travel fee because he was doing another work there, which was nice, so the total would be $578. I said this was too expensive and asked him how much was part and how much was labor service. He said part cost $200, and service $378, which was very expensive based on my previous experience with other contractors. I checked online and found $200 could buy me a high end garbage disposal, which was good. I asked whether this was the final price he said how did you find us. I said from Angie's list. He said there was $65 discount for Angie's list members, so the final price was $513. I thought at least I got a high end garbage disposal installed in my rental house that would last longer. So I said please go on and do the job. He asked my credit card info and made sure he could charge me, and hang up. A few minutes later I received an invoice by email. I opened it and found that they actually installed a "BADGER-5 ISE 1/2 HP Disposer". I checked online, and found that you could buy exactly the same garbage disposal from Home Depot for only $80.70, not $200!!! I called the company immediately, describing what I've found out, and the lady asked him to call me, and he did. He said sorry I shouldn't have broken down the price to make you feel that "I was lying, and I was taking advantage of your situation". I said even you didn't tell me I'd still be able to find out that you charged me $432 service for JUST REPLACE A GARBAGE DISPOSAL!! He said I knew it's a big chunk of money. I said it was not the money but the way of doing business like this that truly got me mad. He said he'd talk to the office to see what they could do to make me happy. I said yes please do something to eliminate my bad feeling, otherwise you had a one time customer and then hang up. Nothing has happened ever since, and I decide to share my experience on Angie's list. I went through reviews about this company on Angie's list and found that this WAS NOT the first time that they did their business like this! I also found that they used to install a garbage disposal for a customer for only $157.5, while they charged me $513! I'd ask this company: isn't this "taking advantage of my situation"? Update: On October 22, I received a check from WyattWorks for a refund of $50. The check was dated August 7, and I didn't know why it took so long for the check to reach me. Anyways, after the refund, out price for the service was $463, still expensive, but not as bad as the original price. I've just revised the overall rating from D to B.

My technician, Jamal, was courteous and professional. Upon entering my home, he put on covrs on his shoes so as not track in dirt. He walked through the two projects with me, exploring what needed to be done. He then used his iPad to calculate the price of the job which I agreed to. He then completed the job in about a half-hour time. He was very professional and explained the process. The price was high for the service, I believe, but it was done well. The one issue is that the control cap of the bath tub faucet fell off but he is coming back today to fix it.
