Very well. He took his time and explained everything he was doing, including the fact it may be another problem, which apparently it was not.

Rippe Brothers was the only place who would give me an actual appointment time vs 4 hour window. He was right on time, took care of everything, very conscientious and polite; felt like "home town"customer service of yesteryear.

Overall, the job went very well and was completed within two days as I requested. Even though I ran 10 minutes late, he was very nice and professional. Immediately upon arriving he took the dryer apart and diagnosed the problem within two minutes. The job was completed in about a half hour and he even accepted American Express.

Mr. Rippe was on time, pleasant, honest, reasonably priced and got right to work. I would recommend his company for applicance repairs.

At first, the repairman couldn't figure out why the fridge door wouldn't close. He checked under the coils, and then took all the drawers out. When the drawers were removed, the door closed. When we put the drawers back, it didn't close, then he realized that a wine bottle in the bottom shelf of the door was hitting the vegetable bin, & preventing the magnet in the door from catching. We removed the wine bottle from the bottom of the door. He checked the freezer, & found that the seal on the icemaker chute was worn out, & was letting cold air out. He ordered a new part, & a different repair man came 2 days later to install it, & now it works fine. They came out on time, both workmen were very pleasant & explained what they were doing, & I was very pleased with their work.

Overall it went very well. The man was very professional and explained everything to us. Showed us the parts that he replaced. He serviced both machines in a very short time. I thought the bill was a bit high in the end, especially with a service call charge for each appliance which totalled nearly $100 for only ONE trip to the house. I did use the $10 off coupon from Angie's List.

We had an issue with a GE french door refrigerator / freezer that GE was having difficulty diagnosing. Since the refrigerator was under warranty and GE was basically unable to determine the root cause and repair in a timely manner they decided to pay us to replace the fridge. We went ahead and bought a new unit for our kitchen, but decided it was worth a shot to have someone else take a look at our "dead" GE fridge since it was only 2 1/2 years old. Rippe was very experienced with these circumstances and went about diagnosing our problem in a very logical manner (which GE was unable to do) - they started with some very inexpensive adjustments and parts and eventually fixed our unit perfectly by replacing the damper assembly. This was well worth the time and money since we paid over $1500 for the unit new. I am confident that it would have taken much longer to diagnose and would have cost us much more had we not used Rippe.

My refrigerator went out sometime during November 5 at night. I called Rippe Brothers first thing in the morning on November 6. They stated the earliest appointment wasn't until November 7, but they would try to come on Nov 6. This was the best response compared to two other companies. Sure enough, they called late morning and were there 25 minutes later. The problem ended up being the starter/relay. The technician replaced the part and also cleaned the coils. In this case, I paid the following charges: Trip charge: $49.95 Labor: $50 Device Start Universal: $86.37 Angies List Coupon: -$10 Tax: $12.11 Total: 188.43 I do not know if the price was average, better, or worse as I did not get other estimates. As a result, I graded this category a "C." The technician was extremely professional and I would certainly put Rippe Brothers at the top of my list for future repair services as long as I knew the price was fair.

Scheduler was very pleasant and worked with me to find a convenient appointment time. Technician called ahead as requested, arrived on time, and explained what he was doing. He cleaned up after the work. Very pleasant to deal with, and an appointment was available within two days, so very prompt service as well.

The overall experience was just as before. I couldn't ask for any better service.

It went wonderfully. He was on time, the price was excellent, and he handled everything gracefully. He found that nothing was truly wrong with the stove, so I had him repair the dishwasher.

The service repair man came out on a Saturday which was very helpful since I picked up our son at camp earlier in the day and there was a lot of laundry to wash which could not have waited until Monday! The repair actually required a trip back to Rippe's shop for another part but the whole job was completed in a timely and professional manner. Great job!

They were here in a reasonable time. The technician explained as he was going along, what he was doing and what had happened which I appreciated. I'll call them again if I have a need in the future.

I was able to schedule a service appointment for the same day I called. The technician was on time, efficient, and did quality work. He was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

I was not home, but my wife said all was done well. Arrived in the middle of one hour window given for arrival, completed work quickly, professionally.

They are very easy to deal with in terms of appointments. They came out quickly, they were prompt. The person who came out was professional. However there was an error with their billing but it was immediately rectified when it was pointed out to them.

I got this company from Angie's List. I called them at 3:30p.m. and my freezer/refrigerator was fixed by 4:30!!!!!! I called to schedule an appointment thinking it would be the next day at best. The scheduler said she didn't know when he would get out since we live in Fairfield. She put me on hold and came back on a few minutes later and said he was on his way!! Once he arrived he knew what the problem was right away - he even had the part on his truck!! It is so nice to have a referral source like Angie's List to be able to provide us with quality companies such as Rippe Brothers Appliance Repair. YAAAAYYYYYY!!!

Mr. Rippe quickly found that a control arm in the the dishwasher had broken. He showed it to me and explained that he could replace the whole assembly for about $85.00 or he could fix it with an inexpensive plastic tie that would work perfectly. He used the plastic tie and saved me quite a bit of money.

Came as agreed, and promptly, and made repair same day. Involved repairing door to washing machine.

All the burners and switches on the stove were checked over. Ended up replacing one of the switches, so that burner would light. Discovered that fan was suppose to automatically come on when the left burners were lit, which they had never done in the 6+ years we've lived in current home. We opted not to repair those switches and just repair the burner that was inoperable.

The repairman arrived on time. He asked me a few questions and went right to work. He knew exactly what needed to be done and went right at it. He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and gave me some tips on maintaining the refrigerator. As it turns out the ice maker was fine. The connection to the water line was clogged. He fixed the connection and everything works fine.

This is the 2nd time I have used Rippe. Both times they have been very prompt and professional. I will use them any time I need appliance repairs.

He was punctual, professional and friendly. I am very happy with the experience.
