The service went great. The pricing was very reasonable. One technician came out and completed the job in under an hour. He was very efficient. When I called in they made sure to get all of the needed information the first call to make sure they were prepared for the job. When the technician came out and already knew exactly what to do. He was prepared with the right part and explained to me what he was going to do.

Great...service tech called me when he was on his way so I could get home. He had it fixed and completed in less than an hour. Thought the service call was a bit high but the washing machine has been running ever since. Thanks...

I did this for a friend. They came to her house and things went fine.

They fixed my dryer. A thermistor needed repaired.

It went well. They were nice and professional.

He came when scheduled, determined the problem and made the repairs quickly and professionally. He also made suggestions on reducing problems and when my wife mentioned a problem with our washer; he knew the cause and made the minor repairs right then and there.

On Monday September 1st, we called our home warranty company for a problem with our fridge. Water was leaking inside the fridge and sometimes, it had gone onto the floor. Our home warranty company sent us to Rippe brothers for the repair. We called them on Tuesday and got scheduled for Friday late evening. Their repairman came and was polite. He stated that the problem was that food and ice has clogged the drain line. He cleaned the fridge and removed the sludge. He also installed a piece of metal to conduct heat better so that the drain line would not freeze again. Afterward, he assured us that the problem has been fixed and there should not be anymore water inside the fridge, since we specifically asked whether this would happen. On Saturday, we opened the fridge and found water inside the fridge again. This is very frustrating for us, especially since Rippe brothers does not have an emergency line. Now it is the weekend and we have to wait for them to hopefully get back to us Monday morning so their mistake can be fixed. I have read previous reviews on Angies list about Rippe brothers and this was a very disappointing experience for us. We have now had to remove two drawers from the fridge since water has accumulated under them. Since they don't have an emergency line, we now have to hope that they will come quickly to finish the job.

I contacted Rippe when my 10-year-old electric dryer suddenly would not turn on. From start to finish, dealing with Rippe was a very pleasant experience. The dryer died on a Saturday, after they were closed, so I contacted them through Angie's List email. They called me early on Monday and scheduled the service for between 8 and 10 on Wednesday, their first available appointment. The repairman showed up at 9:00 on Wednesday, and 45 minutes later, the dryer was working again. My guess was that the starter switch was bad, but the repairman said he could find nothing wrong with the machine, and figured it may have been a loose wire that he tightened in the course of putting it back together. He also greased the bearings while he had the machine apart, and said everything looked in good shape. I would definitely recommend Rippe Brothers Appliance Repair and will use them again for future work.

The serviceman was Mike. He was a very nice person. He looked at the dryer and said that a belt had broken. He did not have the type of belt needed and left to get one. He was gone for quite a while, returned and fixed the dryer. Before leaving to get the belt he outlined what the cost was so far and made sure I understood. Total cost was $164 and I thought it was quite reasonable. I will definitely used Rippe again and will recommend them to friends.

I made an appointment with Rippe Bros. based on their Angie's List rating. Although the provider was running late, he called to let me know and reschedule. He diagnosed and fixed the ice maker in a GE freezer. He was professional and friendly. I'd recommend Rippe Bros. to anyone needing appliance repair.

Mike arrived early and was very courteous and answered all of our questions. After diagnosing the problem, he let us know exactly how much the repair was and broke down the cost to show the labor and cost of the part.ely The repair was made quickly and he checked to make sure everything on the stove worked properly before leaving. I would use Rippe Brothers again for our appliance repair needs.

Fixed dryer with new heating element and then cleaned it out everywhere in it. Then checked out our washer and cleaned out the drain hole. Both work like new again.

They were very courteous and professional and did their best to accommodate my needs.

Overall, it was fine, and glad no repair was needed... just was a bit pricey for a service call where nothing was done.

Rippe charged would go toward any repair. This is the 3rd time we have worked with Rippe Bros. The first time I simply wanted a a part for my oven and they were willing to get it for me and I did put it in. The cost was very reasonable. The second time we used them was for out clothes dryer. It simply stopped working. Again, they were prompt, courteous and competent. I would recommend them to anyone.

The gentleman arrived, got right to work, and explained exactly what happened. The "wrapper" on the premeasured detergent pod failed to dissolve as it should. He recommended the brand that is pod-like but has to be unwrapped.

The technicain who came out - and I wish I could remember his name because he was absolutely awesome - was on time, pleasant, knowledgable, informative, reassuring and wonderful! He was not in a rush even though we were his last stop before going home. He showed me how water had been accidentally leaking out of the tube that goes to the built in ice cube tray and rolling down the backside of the freezer - and covering the thermostat mechanism. That was causing a huge build up of ice on the thermostat over time which caused the electrical circuitry to come loose - it was dislodged because the freezing expansion pulled apart the wiring. He wasn't positive if the thermostat itself was damaged but he didn't believe so. He used his steamer to clear all of the ice off of the freezer parts inside and out, reconnected the wiring that had come loose, tested it, and added the appropriate partial covering over the top of the tubing that goes to the ice tray to prevent further accidental leaking. He also reattached the plastic paneling that covers the freezer door water/ice dispenser as it had been broken and continually falling off and detaching the circuitry that made the automatice water/ice dispenser work. He told me to please call back if there was any temperature control issues at all that week - for which he would have come back to check it out at no charge - and he gave me an estimate for a new thermostat just in case we ended up needing one after all - which would have been no charge at all for the service or labor, just for the new part - but we've had zero problems since he was here. Also, the lady who answered calls talked to me with a pleasant and helpful voice - and never rushed me off the phone - each time I had another question previous to the service call. This company has earned my highest recommendation!

I called Rippe Brothers and had a technician here in less than 1/2 an hour, which was great because I was right in the middle of a huge laundry day! The technician was extremely polite and had the dishwasher fixed in less than 30 minutes. Saved the day! I would highly recommend them for speed and service!

deRippe Brothers always does an outstanding job, and we've used them in our home as well as in our rental properties on several occasions. They are able to help when the manufacturer says you are out of warrantee help and on your own with large appliances. I previously didn't know who to call, but now we do! They can also calibrate your too-hot or too-cold oven so the thermostat reads accurately for correct coking times (no burned or raw foods). They've even checked water lines underneath a crawl space for us!!! We highly recommend them.
