+ -1 moreDuring the process they noticed a problem and asked us if I wanted them to take it back. I asked them if they could try something small to see if it worked. It worked out really well. They are wonderful. I would not use anyone else. Even if they cost a little more, you get what pay for.
Description of Work: They cleaned our area rugs. They picked the rug up and then a week later dropped it off. They also put a pad under the rug to make it last longer.

+ -1 moreThe machine used to clean the tile & grout also stripped some of the sealant that was on the tile. When the floor was complete it looked like there was script etching throughout the floor. (like when you misuse a powerwasher on concrete). It took two months of me calling them to get this fixed. They didn't know how to fix it. What was the most frustrating part was that they wouldn't call me back when they said they would and I had to initiate calls each time for them to even come out to try to fix it. They did end up putting another sealant over the top of the tile (which is the solution I researched and recommended), this has hidden most of the markings. After two months of trying to get my tile repaired, they only refunded $150 of the $536 they charged. They apologized, but based on the good reputation I thought this company had I expected more for such a horrible experience and performance. That being said, the people who came out to my house were very professional and apologetic for what happened.
Description of Work: They cleaned the tile and grout on my kitchen floor.

+ -1 moreunbelievable. carpet almost looks new again stains removed, Very pleased. we also had area rugs cleaned bty them as well. what a difference their service performed!
Description of Work: We have owned this home for 10 years. We vacum often and have a cleaning service along with a home carpet cleaner. The off white carpeting is upstairs, main level and lower level. we also have two dogs and three grandkids. the carpenting was looked dirty and stained so we called to have them cleaned as we have in the past with this same company.

+ -1 moreObviously I can't say if they are good cleaners or not. But I can tell you they are not good schedulers. They were apologetic and nice enough on the phone, but it was just too late.
Description of Work: Don't bother using this company if you are in the Akron area. They called and asked to reschedule our original cleaning date because we were the only call they had in Akron that day. So I said no problem and we rescheduled for a week later (they offered to come out sooner than that, but my schedule wouldn't allow it). When I made the original appointment, I explained that due to personal circumstances, the cleaning had to be completed by 11:30am or 12:00. So at 10:30 I called to see why they weren't at my house yet. The scheduler said that they had just arrived at their earlier appointment, and that they would be at my house in an our or so. Then the cleaning would take an additional hour, putting me well beyond my schedule. After I complained, and mentioned that I would make a note of this on Angie's list, I got a call back 10 minutes later saying they could be at my house in about 10 minutes or so. I was already so irritated that I told them not to bother. They knew that I had a special circumstance from the beginning (I made sure that I told them about the schedule when I first called). If they couldn't accommodate, then they should have told me so from the beginning instead of wasting my time (or they could have made me the first stop of the day). And if is too much trouble for them to drive to Akron, then they shouldn't include this in their service area.

+ -1 moreThey were very good. They do an excellent job on oriental and area rugs. I know they had a very bad fire a year ago, but they are back in business and we can recommend them. They are marvelous. We used them to clean carpets for a long, long time and they usually come and pick up the carpet and deliver it. I would recommend them to anyone. They are knowledgeable and know how to handle oriental rugs and very, very expensive rugs. They put new fringe on my oriental rugs and did a marvelous job. They are a full capacity carpet cleaning company.
Description of Work: We use Arslanian Brothers for carpet cleaning. The last time we used them was about 3 years ago and they cleaned our living room and dinning room carpets and was in the house cleaning and we sent our area and oriental rugs out to them.

+ -1 moreWe had an area rug of ours cleaned that had a few stains on it. I'm not sure what they did to it but it looked much worse when it came back to us. In fact the whole rug looked stained. We had this rug cleaned once before and it felt very soft afterwards. This time the texture felt very rough. I would never use this company again.

+ -1 moreFirst I was a little surprise that they were finish less than 45 minutes. After walking through the areas, I was very pleased with what I saw. The carpet looked brand new. I could not believe this was the same carpet. The carpet was damp not wet. Al suggests that I use the ceiling fan to speed up the drying time. This wasn?t necessary; the carpet was completely dry by noon the next day. I was thinking because the carpet was damp maybe after drying I would begin seeing the dirt spots. Still looked new even after the carpet was completely dry. I am truly amazed at the "before" and "after" look.
Description of Work: Al and Matt steamed cleaned the carpet in living room, hallway and bedroom. I have several remnants in the bedroom that I was planning on throwing out once the carpet was cleaned. Al insists on cleaning the remnants as well. I have two dogs, a German shepherd and Black Lab that use the remnants as their beds and snack area. Needless to say I really did not believe the remnants and carpet in the heavy traffic area could be cleaned from the grime and stains. They also moved furniture while cleaning the carpet. This was definitely a selling point for me.

Price (except for Scotchgard portion which also was higher) was double that of competitors, even one highly rated by Angie's List. Also, empty house discount and Angie's List discount are not aggregated unlike that other AL competitor. Went with the latter. We'll see how work goes & report back!

+ -1 moreThis was an excellent experience from start to finihs.We made the appointment via Arslanian's website. (It is, by the way, a complete and helpful site.) Arslanian's followed up with confirmation email and phone call. They arrived early--after calling to notify us--and did a superior job. In less than an hour, the carpet in both rooms was transformed from dingy to almost-like-new. The two men (one of which was an Arslanian) were friendly, professional, neat, clean, and careful. They answered all our questions and gave us advice on carpet care.

+ -1 moreTheir prices are pretty reasonable. They are quick. They come in, move everything, do the cleaning and put everything back, where it belongs. They put pads under all the legs, so, you never have problems with rust stain or furniture stain. They are just good. They go through everything, tell you what stains they can deal with and what they can not deal with. They also explain about their work. By the time they are done, even the ten years old carpet looks new.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job. They came when they were scheduled to come, left on time, and they did a thorough job cleaning on the rugs. We expected it to take a lot longer but they have the process down and they had a couple of guys that came in and did the job.

+ -1 moreThey pick up your oriental rugs and clean them in-house, which is much more thorough than them doing it at your residence. They clean the front and back and wait for them to dry completely before they are returned. It is a family-owned company and they have all of the best equipment. I've never had a problem with scheduling with them.

+ -1 moreTwo men came and were about an hour late, there was no phone call to let me know they were late.They used my water from outside the house, and steam cleaned the carpet putting foam risers on the furniture to protect from dampness. The cleaning took about an hour. After they left I had to dry mop my adjoining hardwood floor which had puddles of water. Floor remained damp for over 24 hours.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on time and completed the job in a friendly and professional manner. We had to call them back next day to redo the sun room Berber carpet because of streaks. This is a common problem with Berbers and they returned the next day to correct it. The area rugs were not returned on the promised day. A call revealed that Arslanian had inadvertently forgotten to call us saying that the rugs were still a little damp from the cleaning and they didn't want to deliver them in that condition. They did make an effort to deliver them earlier than their normal delivery day because we were having company.
Description of Work: We had the sun room, stairs, and upstairs hall shampooed and had two oriental area rugs dry cleaned.

Description of Work: Arslanian Brothers came out to clean the carpet in my family room and up the stairs and hallway. I had purchased some red rugs that left a stain in the family room. Additionally, there was a lot of foot traffic staining that I was unsure would come out. When the guys first looked at it, they weren't sure it would all come up but much to my satisfaction, they were able to clean all of it! The carpet looks new and now I don't plan on replacing it. They were professional, quick and let me know each step of the process. Even when there was a snafu with the equipment before they came to my appointment, they were professional, courteous and wonderful to deal with. I would definitely recommend them and would use again!

They were careful with furniture as they moved it around to take the carpet out of room. The returned one week later with the cleaned carpet. Again, very professional.
