Joe & his crew, Kyle, Chris & Jeremy, were punctual all four days they were here. Joe, gave the arrival and departure times each day and explained what they were going to do each day. Joe, asked me and answered any questions or concerns I had as the job progressed and they cleaned up at the end of each day.
Description of Work: Four inch silver glow insulation was put on the floor of the crawl space attic. A mold treatment was also done there. Louvers in the attic were fixed that always banged on windy days. The "knee wall" was insulated with four inch silver glow insulation on the slanted ceiling and side walls. Also, the insulation was used to create a wall that was missing by the bathroom side of the knee wall. It looks great!

The crew was well supervised, punctual and professional. The project took 3 days, and they will return at no extra cost to replant shrubs once excavated dirt settles. They were careful not to track mud, and cleaned up completely. I would recommend the company highly and would use them again.
Description of Work: A structural engineer from Ohio Basement Systems, part of Tomorrow's Home Solutions, came to determine the cause of a concrete settling problem in my home. He walked with me inside and out, basement to top floor. He accurately diagnosed the problem and was able to talk to me and illustrate in pictures in ways that were easy to understand. There was no pressure to purchase the company's services. This3 day project included concrete leveling, concrete step repair and the raising of a corner of my house by inserting push piers to raise the foundation.

Description of Work: I contacted two companies to help me with my waterproofing situation and Tomorrows Home solution being the second company to visit me was so professional. A representative came to my home punctual and we walked through the basement together then we sat down were he presented all my options. He was not pushy and worked with my price range and around my hours. I was showed a video of the work that would be done and how it would look upon completion. The representative was very detailed about the work and assured me of how long it would take to complete the work. Sure enough the workers came and they were very very professional and cleaned up after themselves and the work was completed in two days as promised. I have more work for them to do and I didn't find them on Angie's List but i'm glad they are their. I will pass( THS) an( AL) on to all my friends and family . Tomorrow Home Soultions came out to my house and started to educate me on how and why the waterproofing failed on in my basement. They were very curtious and professional and were never "pushy" as with a few other companies that had came out. Then they started with an estimate of how much it was going to be to complete the installation of their watergaurd and a super sump system. After I thought about it for a few days I decided to go with Tomorrows Home Solution.Their scheduling dept. called and set up an appointment that worked into my schedule. My appoint date came and their installation team arived on time. They worked steady threw the day. Day two arrived and to my surprise they had finished by the end of the day. There team cleaned up every my basement every evening and I couldn't tell I was having any work completed. Its now at the end April and no water in my basement. Tomorrows Home Solution did an excellent job and would recommend thier services to anyone. Awsome job guys!

We had been having problems with ventilation and mold in the attic. We had tried some ventilaiton solutions, but never completely resolved the problems, and no company was willing to warranty the work completely. Worked with John of Tomorrow's Home Solutions concerning the issue, and after checking the attic, he recommended a solution for the ventilation and mold with a lifetime transferrable warranty. Also, our upstairs bedrooms were colder and draftee, so he recommended some additional insulation in the attic and the radiant barrier. We signed the contract on 2/17/2012, and the work was completed over 2 days (March 1 & 2). The major piece of the work was to air seal the attic to prevent the moisture from the house getting into the attic, and allow the existing attic ventilation to work more efficiently. The radiant barrier was installed to keep the heat in during the winter months, and out during the summer, giving a little more temperature stability. The workers showed up on time and answered all my questions about the installation, and showd me each step. A blower test was run on the house (which showed more leaks than just the attic), but after sealing the attic you could see a significant drop in the air loss. After sealing and testing the attic the workers completed the radiant barrier and the insulation work. The workers were very friendly and professional, and cleaned up each day. The work was done to my satisfaction, and they reviewed each issue they found, and how it was resolved. With the unusually warm March, we haven't noticed a significant change in room temperature, or heating savings, but we have noticed that the upstairs bathroom no longer has the drafts it used to have. We are very happy with the work performed, and would definitely use Tomorrow's Home Solutions for further work in our home., and recommend them to family and friends.
Description of Work: The services performed were: - Complete air Seal of the attic - Mold treatment in the attic - Radiant Barrier installed in attic - 8000 bdft of insulation blown into attic

Installing this system in a finished basement presents some unique challenges and potential surprises that could increase the cost of the project over and above the original estimate. That was the case with our project and there was some miscommunication between the company's representatives and me. As with most communication problems neither of us was totally blameless nor totally at fault. I finally called the owner to resolve my issues. He listened to my side of the dispute as well as to his staff and came up with a logical explanation and a satisfactory compromise. I can recommend Tomorrow's Home Solutions without hesitation for unfinished basements. The crews that did the work were experienced, friendly, and always on time. For finished basements, I'd recommend THS with the following caution: be prepared for some potential unanticipated expenses. Make sure you carefully read any changes to the original contract and understand the implications and costs of those changes. If you don't understand or agree with the changes, don't hesitate to contact the owner. Mike is very reasonable, fair, and committed to customer satisfaction.

Found them at the Home and Flower Show. They came in for a free estimate. We booked the job to have our attic and knee wall insulated. Joe and his crew; Kyle,Chris and Jeremy were punctual all four days they were here. Joe gave arrival and departure times each day. He explained what they were going to do each day. He asked me if I had any questions or concerns as the job progressed. They put insulation in where a missing wall was in the knee wall. They cleaned up at the end of each day. They did a great job! They were very personable, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: 1000 sq.ft. Super attic was placed on deck with 4 inch silver glow panels (acts like a radiant barrier). Air sealing/insulation. Also did 1000 sq. ft. mold treatment in attic. 500 sq.ft. knee wall was also insulated with the panels.

The crew that worked on my house did a great job considering they hadn't been working together regularly. Upon starting the job the guys let me know that they had a guy injured and a guy move on to another profession, so they would be working with a new crew and the results were great. My basement has already lost most of it's wet basement smell and it has only been 2 weeks. Moving forward I know and trust that my basement will be dry as long as my house exists.

We had a very damp leaking moldy basement from the horrible rains of 2011. Tomorrow's Home Solutions were very professional from the salesperson to the men doing the work. With such a messy job they were careful to try and keep the concrete dust to a minimum. The basement has been dry ever since the repair. Even the worst rainstorms no longer cause a problem. We don't have any more mold problems either. The only minor complaint is we should have been advised to close off the heating vents while the work was performed. Luckily this problem should not happen again, but if it did in a future home I would call this company first.

They came out on time, gave us a quote which was acceptable, were very good with follow-up reminders, and did the work on time. I purchased the deal because a friend of mine had an energy audit done and said he learned a lot, especially what the problem areas were and how to prioritize. He told me that they did air tests around the house and went through every room, and that it took a couple of hours. Chris came out to my house, which I'll admit is small, and spent probably 30 minutes talking with me and less than 30 minutes in the attic, basement and by my back door (which I noted as a problem area). There was no air flow measurement, no attempt to quantify anything other than the depth of my insulation, only a brief conversation about how old my windows were, and we didn't go into the bedrooms or the bathroom. He asked me a lot of questions, like if I felt drafts or noticed hot and cold spots, but I don't notice them -- I assumed that after the questions he would have checked it out himself. I got no literature to read, no markup of my house's issues, no written estimates of the work he suggested. He seemed surprised when I asked him for estimates, and said that there was information on the website. He did say he would have someone at the office get back to me on estimates for a back door. I knew that $49 for a $500 credit would mean that anything I'd buy would cost a lot, but I at least thought I would get something worthwhile out of the energy assessment. I'm greatly disappointed in the lack of takeaways and analysis. Note that I checked I wouldn't use the provider, but I may, depending on the promptness of the door estimates and whether I can get similar estimates elsewhere w/o the $500 credit.
Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List deal -- $49 for an energy audit and $500 credit toward energy products -- and only the energy audit was performed. **update. I have been contacted by Mike Rusk, the owner, and we have ironed out the many misunderstandings and miscommunications. He is committed to making my experience good and has offered to come do the audit. I was sad to learn that the credit can only be used for a home efficiency system, not a replacement door, but I should have done more research up front. Mike has offered door estimates, and if I proceed I will be sure to submit a review once that work has been completed.

The crew was competent and responsive. They represented their company and their vocation in an outstanding manner.
Description of Work: An energy audit was scheduled and performed on January 20, 2012. The crew acame to seal and insulate the house on January 23rd and finished on January 25, 2012. The crew kept us posted as to when they would arrive and if there were any slight delays. They arrived promptly and went immediately to work. They were very responsive and articulate in amswering any questions we had or promlems to which we wanted to alert them. They insulated the basement along the floor joist ends. They sealed all duct work from the furnace everywhere duct work was accessible. They clear-chaulked around windos, doors, and everywhere there was am air-leak. They pulled back the insulation in the attic and chauled the ceiling, re-installed the existing insallation; then they boxed in ceiling fans, can lights, and other exposed recepticles that needed to be sealed, protected and insallated with a thick foam/insallation board. They installed a radiant protection sheet on the attic ceiling; then added another 8 inches of additional insallation. After the work was complete the leader of the crew took me through the house to show everything they completed.

It went great! They were very professional, very nice, and very good. They were on time or even early every day, they let us know what was happening, and they did an excellent job. They cleaned up well after themselves as well. We were very happy with the work I wanted to add something, after the lovely rain we have been getting we were really nervous. This was our first "test" of how everything went, there has not been much precipitation until now. I am thrilled to report my basement is still bone-dry! We are very happty about this

So far so good. One thing, it evened out the heat from the far southwest corner to the northeast corner of the house. I didn’t have many variations of heat throughout the house. Hopefully it will reduce the heating bill and also keep the mildew situation down in the attic. When it’s raining, I hear the attic fan kick on. Right now it’s colder so the fans are off, but things appear to be working. I thought they were the most honest and the most reasonable.
Description of Work: I had a problem in the attic, mold and mildew. There was too much moisture so I had a company come in and kill the mildew and spray again to take out the stain and then spray some saline solution to impregnate the wood and rafters with sodium. I then had heating contractor hook up a humidistat when humidity builds up and then draws that out. Then had a roofing contractor come in to make sure it wasn’t leaking. Then Home Solutions came in and calked and sealed where there was any light coming in from the sealing. It keeps all the air that’s in the house, in the house. Also doesn’t allow any of the heat to escape.
