Founded in 1998, PODS currently provides moving and storage services to more than 240 million consumers in 48 U.S. states, Canada, Australia and soon the United Kingdom through its company-owned and independent franchise network. To date, the PODS network has completed more than 250,000 long-distance relocations, exceeded 1 million deliveries and has more than 140,000 PODS® containers in service. PODS is the leader in the portable storage industry. Our PODS brand storage containers are used for moving and storage, local moves, long distance moves, outdoor storage event storage, storm clean-up, inventory management and many other purposes. PODS® secure containers are constructed of a steel frame and are available in three sizes: approximately 8-by-7-by-7 feet, 8-by-8-by-12 feet and 8-by-8-by-16 feet. Their customer service is amazing. The website was easy to use and everyone I have interacted with there has been fabulous. I changed my mind about the size I could fit in my driveway the evening before it arrived and they were able to make the change quickly and called to confirm. The agent who delivered it and picked it up was extremely polite and considerate of my neighbors.

It was great! We were having our hardwood floors redone so they took all of the furniture off the hardwood floors and put it in the pod. They bring the pod down, they ask you exactly where you want it to be put, and they put it where you ask them to. I believe you are charged by the week. When you are finished with it, you call them and they will come pick it up. They will move it to where you want them to. I think they even have their own storage place. If you just want to store things, you fill it up and they will come and pick it to their storage place. They do what they say. One of the things that sticks in my mind is we have a very difficult driveway to navigate and they didn't damage any of our landscaping. I heard so much about them that was why I used them. I was happy with them.

Everything was on schedule and very professional.  Moving costs were reasonable (about $1200 total for moving), but storage in Streetsboro was expensive at $285 per month.  I finally moved the contents to a local storage unit closer to my home in Akron and I'm now paying less than half of that.  I was moving much of the contents of my mother's house and it was nice to be able to fill the pod over a period of time.  This approach served my purposes well and was probably less expensive to move than using a standard moving company, plus it gave me much for time.

We pay $100 a month. We had to go and get our snow blower when it started snowing so it is available. We just had to call and they got it down for us so we could get into it and get things that we needed. They delivered it when they said they would.
