Buckeye House Painting

The came out and gave me an estimate and reviewed it in detail. I wanted to use a particular brand of paint and they had made the adjustment. They power washed everything to my satisfaction. They came and finished most of the painting on one day and then returned to finish up the doors and worked around my schedule a couple of days later.

Caleb and crew (no subs) showed up exactly as they said they would, on time. It was a two day job and that was what I got. What I liked is they removed the shutters and down spouts to do the job and a great job they did. They cleaned up as you would not have known they were here. I have received compliments from my neighbors on the paint job.

It did not go well. I did not feel as though they cleaned the house as well as they could have. There was still dirty spots on my vinyl siding on the north side of the house. The gentleman that did the work was very nice. They only use high pressure water and therefore some of the dirt may not come off. And I believe that they should tell the customer that. I was able to wipe the dirt off with a towel.

The young lady that handles the appointments, she was very thorough and extremely helpful with picking out colors. On the day they were suppose to arrive they showed on time. There was a crew of four men. They were very professional. They took their shoes off at the door which I appreciated. They moved all the heavy furniture for us and they put the furniture back which was greatly appreciated. The paint job was perfect we really couldn't find any flaws in their work. The owner came back to inspect the job and he was there the first day.

They did a nice job and the rooms/walls look great.

Overall They were very punctual, friendly and very professional. They came to our home and sanded, patched and painted a large bedroom and a power room as well as one other bedroom wall. The did a great job and cleaned up after themselves very well. We will use this company again, they are returning to do another job for us.

They arrived when they were supposed to. They powerwashed the barn and it looked good once they got finished. They were friendly and considerate. They were very nice.

It went ok overall, except that contact person lost patience when we wanted to change color after he sampled a spot for us to decide the color, and requested us to pay the cost for the one gallon of sample paint if we decided to change color. Luckily, we decided not to change color, and the painting work went smoothly and well.

I would say it went very well. The estimated price is what we ended up paying. They came in and had the job done in very little time. Everything with this company is fine.

It went well. It was nice because there was actually a twenty percent discount because of Angie's List. So I got a quote, and it ended up being cheaper than the already low estimate. The quality of work is good.

Overall, the painting crew of two (this was a one-day small job) were very prompt and efficient. The paint was applied to only the intended areas. Although, there was a spill on our front walk up to the house, but it appears that they tried to clean it up the best they could. Not too noticeable now. They invited us around to see the work when they were finished and before we paid. Very professional.

I could begin to even state how impressed I am with the service they provided. The bid price they gave was very comparable to the final price they charged. They were everything a person could expect in the service, they had the job done in no time.

Everything was very good, starting with the original estimate. Except that as the painting was being done one of the painters was starting to paint areas that had not been prepped. I corrected that and it was not an issue in the long run. Other than that, I was pleased.

I called Buckeye House Painting and left a message that we were interested in receiving an estimate on having our cedar sided ranch power washed and stained. Katie returned my call promptly and came out a day or two later. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and gave us an estimate that day. After receiving estimates from 2 other painting companies, Buckeye's estimate came in the highest ($800 -$1,000 more).

First, they came out and gave me an estimate. I then called to schedule and they came out when they said they would. The work was performed exactly as promised. They had to work around the rainy days. They moved my furniture to do the work and replaced it exactly as promised. They also took special care not to get paint on the windows which I appreciated. The cost was exactly as estimated. One thing that impressed me was they did not require a down payment and they did not want paid until job was completed. I feel that is a very reputable business practice.

The work was started within 2 weeks, per an appointment set up in a subsequent phone call. The girls that did the painting were very detail oriented, did the job very well and cleaned up so you never knew anything had taken place. The overall job took a little over 1 day. We are very pleased with all aspects of the job and would recommend Buckeye Home Painting for any painting job, both small or large, inside and outside.

They started the job out by power washing the house with chemicals. Then two days later they came back to paint it. They did an excellent job of taping all of the trim off. There was no overspray or mess to clean up.

We were very happy overall. The final price came in lower than the estimate given. We would definitely use them again and/or recommend them to a friend.

I have used their services before. They do very good work. They are dependable and have great prices. The estimate is always right on. They clean up real well and are very professional.

It may have been a little pricey, but it is worth it. They are very polite and efficient. They did a good job and we would use them again.

The sales person was very pleasant and seemed professional. The crew chief was pleasant, although the helper appeared to develop some attitude following an incident described below. The original estimate was one day. Upon arriving, the crew announced that they expected to take more than two days. We pointed out the discrepancy, which they blamed on the sales person. The project took two days. (We had picked Buckeye over a less expensive competitor based on the one day completion promise.) On the first day my husband discovered one of the crew had placed a paint bucket on an unprotected table while painting a ceiling. The worker appeared a bit resentful when he objected to this. The overall job was of a generally good quality; however, there were a few places where masking tape was not carefully enough applied and the line between ceiling and walls was not carefully maintained. This was over a rather small area, so was not a major issue. The cleanup was fairly thorough, although after the crew left, we discovered a dirty calking knife wrapped in a wet rag was left on our carpeting. There was no apparent damage to the carpet, so this was just a minor irritant. While the general quality of the work was good, the failure to stay on schedule and the carelessness of one of the crew would lead us to try another company the next time we have a painting project.

It went really well. There was one problem- we have green shutters and the paint ran onto the other parts of the house. I called and they came right out and fixed it. They solved the problem very quickly. A manager came out and made every thing right. The workers were very good they were busy the entire time they were here. They did a thorough job.

Very responsive staff visited and provided a quote on site. Work was performed a few weeks later (this is a busy time for painters). The work was very high quality. I would highly recommend Buckeye House Painting.

They cleaned all the cobwebs and caulked where the house had settled, and took down the pictures that were too high for me to get down. They didn't leave a drop anywhere.
