We originally met with Dan to go over the scope of work and get an estimate. Dan is a very cordial, well-organized young man who brought all paperwork and documentation to the appointment. We liked that the price is firm - not an estimate subject to change later - and that the services automatically include removing downspouts. The only hiccup had to do with scheduling the actual work- although we were supposed to have the work started within two weeks, inclement weather delayed the project. It wasn't a big deal but it would have been nice to have contact from the company without my having to call them first after the 2 weeks had past. The crew that came out was very professional and got the work done quickly. We are pleased with the end result.

They were very punctual, actually 15 minutes early. They were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They also provided an estimate to paint and power wash my home. They seemed reasonable for deck staining and power washing, but high for painting my home.

Things went well overall. It was obvious from my first meeting with and speaking with Dan that high quality customer service is his first concern. He wants to make sure you as the customer are happy with the completed paint work. The painting they did looks wonderful. I called Buckeye Painting for a quote and they were able to come out to my house a couple days later. Dan examined the house and gave us an exact quote. It included power washing, scraping, caulking and painting the trim on our house. I hired them because of the combination of Angies List ratings, price, my meeting with Dan for the quote and the fact that the painters are employees of Buckeye House Painting. The performed the painting a few weeks after the quote. Four guys showed up and they got straight to work and worked all day. They were all friendly and courteous. The paint coverage was good and the work was done well. A couple questions came up during the day ( which always happens with any job ) and they immediately took care of them. i.e. A couple of trim boards were missed, and they immediately painted them when I pointed it out. The shining moment for Buckeye Paint was when I called them the day after the painting was finished. After looking at the completely dry paint ( and this was white paint on white paint- sometimes hard to see when wet ) I realized a couple places had been missed. I called Dan and he came out the same day to re-coat the missed spots. No questions asked or explanation needed.

Katie took our call and came out to provide us with a quote. She was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable about the whole process, answering all our questions at the time. The two painters arrived promptly on the scheduled day and it took them about 5 hours to complete the job. They were prepared to clear out contents of rooms (although we did some of it), repair any imperfections in the walls, tape off, clean up and move things back into place. They did an excellent job of taping off and had to manage cathedral ceilings and a nook/ledge in the master bedroom. Our first major disappointment was they failed to clean up all the drips which were everywhere, from on the walls themselves to the blind pulls to the cabinetry to the molding. They did not remove the towel racks and light fixtures, but opted instead to tape off and paint around. They missed two spots in the bathroom, which we had to paint ourselves. One was very obvious in the water closet; the other not so obvious behind a light globe. We honestly expected the painters to be more thorough in their cleaning based on the price we paid, and the price even included a 20% Angie's List discount. We may call on this company again; however, we will need to resolve whether they can meet our cleaning and thoroughness expectations.

Everything went fine except when he removed some wallpaper in our laundry room, they found some water damage behind it and were unable to finish that particular job. We're checking with another Angie's List company to repair the damage.

Very good experience. The woman who came out to give me the price was very thorough. The price quoted was in line with what I expected from my research on Angie's list. She gave me a guaranteed price, not an estimate. I was changing the house color, so she said this included 2 coats. She called to let me know when they would be coming to pressure wash and when the crew leader would be coming to get the painting started. The crew leader, Jose, was professional and thorough. He walked around the house with me and explained what they needed to do. He seemed to really take pride in his work. The entire job would have been completed in 2 days, but Jose had to come back a 3rd day to paint a door that I had to unlock for him. Over and above... Jose even cleaned the weeds out of my basement window wells while he had the window well covers off for painting. Wow!! The house looks great.

On the first sunny day they called me early in the morning and came out that very day. Dan explained in detail the process he was going to follow. After the caulk and waterproofing he had me come out and inspect the work. He made sure I was happy with his work before leaving.

Their work work was very professional and they were very nice people to be around.

Their estimate was fair. This was a good experience. They were very detailed. They were going to power wash the home, scrape any peeling areas, pound in any loose nails and roller and brush application. I ended up talking to another company that will scrub the house with brushes, not power wash and that is what I prefer. The company I chose to go with was much cheaper and would do the same work without powerwashing. I would consider them in the future.

Their estimate was equal to others. The procedure was comparable as well. The estimate was within $200 of the other estimate. They were very professional in their presentation.

We knew the color family we wanted to use by room, but, we were not sure of the exact colors we wanted to use. Buckeye House Painting started this process by bringing in a paint consultant as part of their price. We found this service very valuable. After we determined the exact colors we were going to use, the work was scheduled to start a few weeks later. On the first morning, they arrived right on time and went right to work. For the next 7 days, Buckeye did exactly what they were there to do. They were quiet(my wife and I both work out of the home so you can imagine what it would be like)respectful, clean and professional. Every night the house was put back together. We found no paint spills, spots or any mess at any time during the process. Now that the job is completed I can say we are extremely pleased with the experience. The plaster looks great where they repaired it. There is no sign that wallpaper was once on the walls and the paint job looks fantastic. They fully lived up to my memory of our experience 5 years ago when they painted the exterior of our home. Thank you again, Buckeye House Painting.

Buckeye Painitng did an excellent job. It was performed on short notice to help us get ready for an open house. They are prompt, courteous, and go out of their way to accomodate their customers. They are truly a good company to deal with.

They gave us a fair estimate and we scheduled them for the work. They were always professional, punctual, respectful of our home (left snowy wet boots outside) and our cats, and left no mess. Because we had started the work by scraping off the old paint and prepping all the areas, they initially thought it would only take one day to apply the new trim color. Unfortunately, the coverage was very thin and they had to come back three more days to complete the project. They were extremely professional and insisted that they finish the job within the week, which we were happy to accomodate. I felt comfortable leaving the painter alone in our home during they day, and they made sure to contact us at the end of each day to let us know their progress. We greatly appreciated that they went above and beyond to ensure that the finished project looked fabulous, even though it was about 5 more coats of paint than anyone thought it needed.

We would definitely hire them again. We worked with Dan to get the quote and Katie for assistance in selecting our colors. The employee who did the painting did an excellent job. We encountered a couple of issues during the job, but they were addressed immediately.

Kati came out and did the quote. She was great to work with and very helpful! She explained the entire process, info about the paint used, and the quote. Overall the experience was satisfactory! The quality of work is second to none. The painter was friendly and easy to talk with. He always took off his shoes before entering the house. Several minor complaints: The painter showed up on the first day without a ladder which delayed getting started...how do you show up to paint crown molding without a ladder? The painter did not use any drop cloths...fortunately he did not make any messes. He did get caulking on fridge but was able to clean it. The painter made several trips to the "paint store" both days to pick up extra supplies because he did not come prepared. I would say he went 2-3 times both days. The job went a 1/2 day longer than expected because of the aforementioned delays. I am very happy with the finished product! Had there not been the few minor issues listed above they would have gotten straight A's! I would still recommend them despite the issues.

Buckeye was on time, extremely clean and thorough. I have never been more impressed with a painting job. This company is exceptional!

We expected the stain to stay for over a year, but were disappointed when it faded in sections that were high traffic areas.

They did a really good job, so I did have them back again a second time. They are realy good at cleaning up and are really good with detail work. I was thinking of calling them again for another job. They are just great to work with.

Buckeye people were great to work with. They responded quickly to our call for an estimate, gave us a competitive price (we had 2 other estimates) and did not require payment until job was done. We needed to get this painting done quickly in order to be ready for the installation of carpet in the great room and they accommodated our schedule. Some of the other contractors could not do this. The two in the painting crew were friendly and very professional. The job was done over 2 days and they cleaned up all of their equipment at the end of the first day. They were very careful, yet efficient in their work and communicated what they were doing. We had selected Buckeye as a candidate because of the excellent reviews others had given them on Angie's List and they more than exceeded our expectations. The only hitch was a misunderstanding on the type of paint to use in the kitchen; however, they immediately purchased what was needed. We also appreciated not having to pay until the work was completed. We would readily use them in the future for other painting projects we have planned.

Excellent, high quality work. I was very pleased with the prep & patching Bob did on my (very old) plaster walls. Obvious cracks are now barely noticed. I was thrilled with the professionalism, quality of work, and clean up and will most definitely use their services for future projects. I would highly recommend Buckeye House Painting.

They were very professional. They had a nice estimator that came out. Then they sent 3 people to paint my deck. They did it nice and thick, it was in the summer of '07, and it still looks new. It has lasted 18 months.

When we purchased the HUD house, we knew painting and new flooring would need to be done. And using Angie's List to find those companies that we needed was a great help. Buckeye House Painting was great! Dan came to the house and gave us a good quote for the amount of painting we wanted. Dan also had no problem matching the colors I had already picked out. They scheduled our job in quickly and took less time than first quoted to do the work. The crew of two were very nice and professional. They did a great job painting the common areas. They even met me the day after the job was completed to collect the money. At that time, I completed the survey that is part of the invoice, not knowing there was an open window in one of the upstairs bedrooms and forgot to close it. So, not knowing when the window was opened the week of Thanksgiving 2008. It may have been open for fours days with the heat on. I only discovered it because I needed to get something from one of those bedrooms. A tip if you go with Buckeye House Painting, check the windows each day, if possible. I haven't said anything to the company since I can't determine when the window was left open and haven't gotten the electric bill for the time period yet.
