Buckeye House Painting

The job took three days, plus a day the previous week for pressure washing the house. The painters were professional, friendly and excellent. They arrived on time and worked full days. They did neat work and I am pleased with the results. Cleanup was excellent as well.

From start to finish Buckeye House Painting did a great job. Katie was a tremendous help in helping us pick out color combinations and the painting crew was professional, courtious, and efficient. They were very careful moving furniture and breakables and didn't neglect the clean-up at the end of each day.

Katie was extremely responsive, from responding to our initial inquiry, to providing the estimate, to keeping us updated on when each step of the work would take place. She also was very helpful in selecting colors, making what can be a daunting task quick and easy. The painting crew was also fantastic. They put great effort into prep work (scraping, caulking, priming), ensuring the job will last a long time. And the quality of the paint job exceeded my expectations. I'm a perfectionist and have gone all around the house looking at the work and don't have a single complaint. All the work was done to perfection. The entire crew was very attentive to every detail and it shows. The job site was always clean at the end of each day and the workers were very cordial. Neighbors have commented on both how great the paint job looks and how nice the workers were to them. I would hire this company again without question. They have the best people, use the best paint, and do the best job I could have ever anticipated. The price was less than I thought it would be and I was happy to pay, given the quality. In my book, there's no need to look anywhere else for the best paint job you can buy.

I called Buckeye for an estimate to pressure wash my vinyl siding. I received the estimate over the phone and was given a 10 percent senior discount. The young man who did the work was prompt and did a great job.

They were prompt and thorough with their estimates and it was right on. They sent Caleb an experienced painter who was professional and extremely courteous. At first we thought about doing the job ourselves, but realized that the job was bigger than what we were able to handle. After seeing Caleb climb to over 20 feet and then tiptoe another 10 feet above that on top of the ladder, we were amazed at his ability and felt we had made the right decision. He not only took a lot of addtional time answering all our questions during the process but also gave us great advice on other areas of the house. It took him a little longer than expected to complete the job because we had some issues with our soffits ( a previous problem) but he took the time to go over it again it gave us a chance to get to know him better. We felt completely comfortable and secure in leaving him alone at our home. He was very respectful of our privacy, home, and courteous beyond belief. We were beyond thrilled with the experience and the outcome! Thank you Caleb and thank you Buckeye for a great experience!

Katie came to my home and gave me an estimate. She was very thorough in explaining exactly what would be done and gave me a professional contract with the details. She has an eye for color and suggested a door color that is perfect. Due to the excessive rain this summer, the project was started later than anticipated, but Katie kept me informed on the status of my job. The workmen who did the painting were meticulous about details. The older windows and trim on the back of my house received extra care. The men were polite and trustworthy. They answered all my questions. I was extremely pleased with the work of Buckeye House Painting.

Katie came to the house and gave me an estimate, which was very reasonable. They arrived about a week later and power washed the deck, but the actual painting was delayed for a couple more weeks, due to the amount of rain in May. I have used them before, and they are always thorough and professional

We needed to have our deck refinished in the spring before our son's graduation party in early June. It was a very rainy spring, and many companies told us that there was no way they could do our deck in the time frame we wanted. Buckeye gave us a quote, and said they would try to do our deck, weather permitting. We finally got a break from the rain, and Buckeye got us scheduled and stained in the nick of time. Katie helped us pick out the color and it is just what we wanted. We had one painter who finished the work in two days. We are pleased with the results.

Buckeye House Painting staff were very professional and thorough. Their representative, Katie, came over to the house and went over the estimate and work that they offer in detail. The 2 painters did a thorough job, even the caulking of the joints showed their attention to detail. They knew what they were doing and had the right tools. The whole house was painted in 2 days, 2 weeks after the initial power washing. Buckeye House Painting staff also paid attention to the weather and waited until there were enough consecutive days without rain, enough time for the paint to dry. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. We recommend this provider to anyone who wants a job well done. We will use them again if needed, in the future.

Dan and Katie are the owners of the company. They are wonderful to work with. I had exterior trim done by this company last fall. When I had a problem with our gutters and the paint buckled, they came out and repainted that part of the trim without charging us for that work. The paint buckling wasn't their fault, but they sent a crew out to paint it over for us., Now I call that great service. I would recommend this company to anyone, my friends and family.

Great experience. Communicated frequently and accurately as they waited for my door to get installed, then fixed, weather problems, etc. Keith showed up right on time the day were were able to do the work...working around my schedule. Doors with windows and sidelights are very complicated, and difficult to paint. Keith did a fantastic job, even using a heat gun to bake the paint in. He was very friendly and clean cut. My 10 year old son liked him a lot and decided to paint our old outdoor wood bench because he wanted to "practice for when I start painting stuff like Keith does" :) I'll definately call Buckeye whenever I need painting done.

We started the process with a call to Buckeye for an estimate. The job was bid and a date set to start. Please note that it was a bid, not an estimate. It is a set bid that will not change unless something is added. Because of the local rain, the date was changed for the start a few times. I was kept informed and included in the changes the whole time. Once the painting started, it was done with great care and professionalism. The crew we had working on our house were friendly, helpful and hardworking. When the inside work was done, the repairs are seamless. When the ceilings were not up to the workmen's standards, they applied additional coats of paint. Only one coat was actually in our contract. All of this was done with no additional cost. The outside took a little longer than expected due to a thunderstorm. The painters came on Sunday to complete the work and did not rush the job just to be finished. Katie, Bob, Juan and his crew - were all responsive, friendly and very good. We are very happy with all the work done at our house.

Following successful interior room color selection and paint job for a bedroom and a half-bath, in December 2010 we asked Katie Fischer to provide us a color selection recommendation and an estimate for painting the exterior wood & metal trim only along with an estimate to paint all of the exterior, as well as a recommendation of whether or not the stucco and brick areas would require repainting at the same time. She promptly provided us with the information that the stucco and brick areas were not in need of painting, and gave us a written estimate for both options (we selected trim only--for which the estimate was exactly the final cost), along with a time frame. She provided us with color recommendations for our selection. Katie kept us informed on the scheduling right up to a week before, at which time Caleb, our painting team leader, began calling with updates based upon the spring rains. Caleb and Chip arrived promptly as scheduled, and met with us to discuss mutual expectations; we were impressed that Katie had already informed them of the names, and dispositions, of our two small, vocal canines! This is an excellent example of the level of detailed coordination we have come to expect from Buckeye House Painting. Every day they were here, Caleb met us to review the previous day's progress, reviewed our anticipated schedule, and briefed us on their upcoming plans. Caleb and Chip were completely solicitous of our schedules, and modified theirs accordingly. The treated our residence and yard as if they were their own. Since I had elected to paint our deck myself, Caleb did a walk through after I had powerwashed it, providing me with excellent observations and suggestions. He obtained the paint for me, and solved an enduring problem by ensuring an additive for traction was included in the steps paint to prevent falls. We have had very positive feedback from neighbors on the appearance of the project. We have already had Katie Fischer, who possess a rarely encountered combination of taste and color discernment--not to mention her pinpoint accuracy with estimates in terms of cost and time, consult on our next interior room painting project!

Excellent experience! Katie was very responsive in getting us a quote and taking advantage of the rain days to get our inside job done quickly. The crew did an amazing job of transforming dusty, old walls and ceilings into fresh, bright rooms. The clean-up was very thorough. Thank you so much for such a positive experience!

I like them. They were professional and clean. They were great at what they did. After they were gone I didn?t even know they were there. Their quality of work was excellent. I would use them in the future.

They are very clean when working and clean up after themselves when done. Very nice work painting the trim work and bedroom walls. Kitchen cabinets look good. 90% of the work is very nice. When returning the doors after spraying them, on all but 1 door, there were paint lift marks as if the face of the door was placed down when not dry enough causing the surface coat to pull off or indent. Had to use spackle and wet sanding to fix the problem areas then repaint. In certain angles, you can see the patch work, but overall, it is nice. A vast improvement from what we had before. In the future I would recommend to Buckeye House Painting to keep the doors longer so they have adequate time to dry before transport, along with painting the back three coats first, then front three coats last, then transport the doors face up; however, since I'm not a professional painter, this may not be an adequate process, however, at the very least, keep the doors longer. I have asked them for a quote to power spray the garage and house exterior and paint the upstairs, which should indicate the did an overall great job.

Great experience. Katie from Buckeye House Painting came out quickly for an estimate and once I decided to go with their company, put me on the schedule as soon as possible. The cold temperatures and rain kept them from starting right away but they checked in with me regularly to update me on their estimated start date. Once they were able to start working, Bob supervised the power-wash and painting and was very nice. The crew was friendly and kept the area clean. Good experience.

Katie came out to give us our quote. She did an excellent job explaining the whole process, pricing and other miscellaneous information. I liked that their quote pricing was good for the whole season and it wasn't a decision we had to rush in to that moment to get the special Angie's List discount. We asked her to make special note that they had to call us before arriving so we could make sure the dogs were not in the back yard. Bob (crew manager) called 20 minutes before arriving to power wash. They did a nice job power washing and left the place fairly tidy for the amount of paint that came off. They came back a few days later to do the painting. The crew that came out did a superb job and everything looks great. The only complaint (we mentioned this to Bob too) was that the crew did not speak english clear enough to communicate effectively with us. He said that they are thinking about getting the crew some tutoring which shows to me they are invested in their employees and care about the feedback from their clients. We would definitely use them again!

Awesome. This is the second time I have used this company. A few years ago they painted the exterior and did a excellent and professional job than. I was impressed and pleased than and I am again now. The people of this company go the extra mile and do the little things you do not expect.

We are very happy with them. It was a two day job and they got it scheduled within about two weeks after we got the estimate. I liked the quality of their work and timeliness. The price was reasonable. We got help with selecting colors. We would use them again in the future.

We liked that the owner came out, who was very thorough and made great suggestions. Overall, we liked his attitude and was very tentative. Their company is consistently a service provider of the year.
