They did an excellent job, cleaned up very well afterwards and did it quickly. It took three days.

Buckeye Painting was fantastic! Clint arrived on time and came to the door to introduce himself. He placed coverings on the ground and there was not a spot of paint anywhere except where it supposed to be. He worked from morning until early evening.Clint was the most pleasant person you would ever want to meet. He would let us know when he was leaving and what the plan was for the next day. When he finished the whole job, he had us inspect the painting. The painting was done to perfection. A few days later in the mail, we received a list of the colors and what brand of paint was used. How thoughtful!!We will never go with another paint company because Buckeye Painting is the best!!!

Dan McClurg (the owner) arrived on time to provide us with an estimate. He presented us with quote for the work that was needed. There was no high pressure sales. I did need to remind the crew that they should be using drop cloths, which they then used. The crew of two put in a full day's work and I glad this was not a job I tackled on my own. Buckyeye House Painting will be my go to company for my painting needs.

We've used Buckeye House Painting on two separate occasions and were thrilled with the results! It was a wonderful experience. Their staff is professional, noninvasive, (my husbands works out of our home), extremely organized, clean and friendly. The interior of my entire home was painted and put back together in four days. They were wonderful!! I will and have recommended them to many friends and acquaintances.

It went very well. The estimate was very professional and all the work described and pricing itemized. I really liked the Angies list discount which was 20%. I was very happy to have been able to use my own stain, which I had purchased. Buckeye Painters were very courteous, and neat. I was able to be very flexible with the time when the painting was done. I had been given an approximate date and was to be called when painting, as I was to leave the paint outside that morning. That communication was a little off, as I called to check when I hadn't heard from them...Really not too big a deal on that. My only negative comment would be on the fact that if I used a credit card for payment, they would pass on a 3% surcharge to me. I was a bit suprised at that. I was able to pay by check, but I wouldn't have, had the job been bigger.

I have had friends that recommended him. He actually gave me a quote the same time that he gave me a quote for the exterior. He was very responsive. I had gone with someone else that I had for the spring.

We contacted 3 different painting companies. Katie came to give us the quote. She was very punctual, professional and helpful with suggestions. Buckeye was not the cheapest of the 3 but we decided to go with them because I trusted Katie to help me pick out great colors for our house. I was not disappointed! Bob, the painting foreman, was also very professional, and the guys did a great job! We have no complaints and plan to use them again for future painting jobs.

This is the second time I have used Buckeye House Painting. They are highly professional and take their time to ensure the work is done correctly. They provided a written estimate and detailed what work they would be doing. No payment is required until the job is completed. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again when the time arises.

I ended up choosing another company after receiving 3 estimates for the project. This companies estimate was the highest of the 3.

The estimate was free. He explained what he was doing and gave us the estimate. We felt, though, it was a little on the high end.

I am reviewing this service provider with a D instead of an F because we liked the owner very much, who came out to meet with us and provide a quote for the painting of pretty much our entire home as we purchased a new construction last year. Also, I had an medical emergency on the day of our appointment, which made me a bit late for our appointment start time, and he did wait for myself and my husband to arrive. However, a few days after our appointment, I called and left a message to state that I did like him very much, and wanted to proceed with his service, but was wondering if he could match the prices of a competitor who had already provided a quote. I was expecting a returned call to answer my question, however, that call never came. Even if the answer was no, I would likely have still used their services because of his professional appearance and promises of a professional job, however, I never received any answer at all, and thus proceeded to hire another company for the service.

The job was perfect. If I had a chart in front of me, they would be tens all the way down. I liked the quality of the work. They gave me an accurate quote not an estimate. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Everything went like the salesperson said. I would recommend them to anybody. I am probably going to use them again next summer.

The person who came out to do the estimate was courteous and knew what she was doing. Her estimate was correct. The person who came out to do the work did it quickly and efficiently and even came back to do some touch up work on things that no one would have noticed, without even being asked.

We were provided with excellent advice to assist in narrowing our color selection, which turned out to be beautiful. Katie was punctual when arriving for estimate and color selection. She was courteous and professional. The painter was punctual and professional. He provided regular progress reports to keep us informed about the status of the job. The rooms look beautiful!

I am very happy with the interior painting. Katie was a great help in selecting coordinating colors for the great room and kitchen. Painters were pleasant to work with and prompt. Painting was completed as expected. They were very neat and cleaned up when the job was finished. I would use Buckeye again.

They were very prompt when I called to request a bid. Once the work was scheduled, the painter was on time and pleasant to work with. Everything was cleaned up including the roof from any paint scrapings, etc. I would definetly recommend Buckeye House painting.

I called Buckeye based on their being local and having high ratings on Angie's List, and made an appointment for an estimate. Dan, who indicated he was the owner, came out promptly a few days later first thing in the am c. Sept 27, and we did a walk-around. I was primarily looking to have some peeling trim repainted on a fairly large residence. I'd had a bad experience with another company in the past, due in part ot poor surface preparation. Dan explained how Buckeye was different from that company, did not use subs, etc. He did seem to prefer painting the whole house, but as most of the paint & stain was in fairly good condition, he seemed to agree that painting the trim that needed it now, with a full house painting in a year or two, was a reasonable plan. He indicated that it was a busy time of the year, but that he should be able to get me on the schedule in the next month or so. I had a good impression of Dan, and he indicated he would get me an estimate. When I heard nothing back for almost 2 weeks, I emailed Dan to ask about the estimate, but received no response. After waiting another 2 weeks or so, after about the third week in October, I called the Buckeye office number to ask when I would get the estimate. I spoke with a woman who indicated she would pass the message on to the owner, and I left my pager and cell numbers to be sure I could be reached. However, I received no response, and still have not heard anything from Buckeye. Certainly it is the prerogative of a business not to do a job that it might consider less profitable, worthwhile, etc. Indeed, had Buckeye called me and said that they had miscalculated, and could not get to the job this year, I would have understood. However because Dan seemed willing and able to do the job, gave a good presentation and had a high rating on Angie's List, I believed Buckeye was actually interested in the job and would do it. Therefore I waited to hear from them, and did not obtain other estimates. Consequently, by the time it was evident that Buckeye was not going to respond, it was late October, and I was more or less stuck in trying to arrange for house painting this year. Were it not for this consequence, I would not have bothered to rate this disappointing company. In a way, this had been a good object lesson, not to put all one's eggs in one basket, whether it is a painting company, or Angie's List.

Katie, who quoted the job and Bob the crew supervisor could not have done better. This was a big job that we anticipated would interrupt our lives while it was in progress. Katie quoted 5 days for completion. I expected that it would take 6 or 7 days. It was finished in 4 days. Communications before the start date was excellent. The crew showed up on time and worked hard. They cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job. We did a lot of preparation in advance such as moving fragile items and pictures from the walls, but the crew moved all furnishings. There are still quite a few pictures to rehang, but the disruption was essentially nonexistent and the end product above expectations. We had a second home in another state recently painted. It was done by a much smaller company and the price was based on time and material. The jobs were comparable so we had a reasonable benchmark for what the price range should be. We might have been able to save a few dollars with a different company, but I do not see how we could have received a better painting job completed more efficiently. We would definitely recommend and use Buckeye House Painting again.

Buckeye was very prompt in providing me the quote. They were not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Decided to go with Buckeye based on their reviews here on Angie's List. The work was scheduled for completion in 2 days. They met the timeframes. Overall, I am very happy with the way the house looks.

Overall, it was great. They were the least expensive out of the people we concidered and they were the best! They did a wonderful job.

The staff were professional and friendly and the job was managed on site by a wonderful man, Antonio. There were only some very minor issues with where to put trash, and having the cleanup equipment necessary. But the important stuff- how the house was prepped and painted - we were very happy with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and will definitely use them again for any painting we need in the future.

Katie came out to do the initial estimate. She was very polite and very thorough. She scheduled the painting to be done that weekend when I was out of town. When I came back and did a walk around to see their work, I was very pleased to see a very nicely done professional paint job. I had been wanting to do it before the winter cold came and they were very accomodating before the weather turned. I will definitely use them again for some interior painting that I have coming up.
