Buckeye House Painting

The estimates were good and fair. We are having 1200-1400 square feet painted. They were very responsive. The lady was nice and came out and provided the quote. I will be using them again in the future.

The service from this company was outstanding. Their goal appears to be to do the best job possible. After the quote.the owner of the company came out and gave good advice on the color. They were very careful and cleaned up after the work. The finished appearance is exellent. They were very helpful ln allowing the company that glazed the windows to use their equipment to reach a window that is difficult to access. I was impressed that they ttook a personal interestin me as an individual. I would highly reccomend this company.

My husband and I received a quote for our exterior painting from a courteous gentleman named Bob Klem (owner). We received assistance in picking out colors by Katie Fischer (employee). The painting was performed by sub-contractor Antonio, and was beautifully done. The owner (Bob) never came to the job site to check in on things that I am aware of, nor did he call me to check on progress, which disappointed me. On the day of completion, we were presented with an invoice that seemed not to match the quotes we had received. I called the owner to discuss and he explained to me that the four quotes (some of which were written in the margins of the quote paper and appeared to be random notes) were to be totaled together--apparently by us,. What we thought was a $2400 job turned out to be a $3630 job--which we had not budgeted for and was were very surprised by. I would not recommend this company to a friend because if I can't trust someone to clearly demonstrate cost simply and clearly, then I don't trust them with my home.

Excellent. Very responsive from initial quote to finish/clean-up. I'm planning to have them back to the house for interior work.

Dan came out same day as I called him to give us an estimate. It was fair and he explained in detail how the job was to be completed. The powerwasher did damage one of our outdoor lights, but this was resolved to our satisfaction. The painters showed up on time and were outstanding. Dan had assured us that he did not use subcontractors, however the team sent to paint our house told us they were subcontractors. The painters worked all day for 2 days to complete the job on our house. When I inspected the job before they left, I found some places where the paint had soaked in so completely that another coat was needed. Our trim seemed to soak up the paint as they were applying it. Some places were given four coats. We felt that another company or another group of painters may have charged more for this, so we were quite happy when the painters just kept applying paint until the job was perfect. Our screened in porch had a few cracks in the ceiling and were repaired so well that you can not tell that anything was filled in. We are extremely happy with the job that was done and would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

Bob came out and did the estimate. I had scheduled with the owner over the weekend and he apparently didn't get the estimate on the office calendar so missed the original time. He was very apologetic and was able to get Bob out a little later the same day. After I accepted their estimate, Katie came out with color swatches and assisted with color selection. She did a good job of keeping me informed on the work schedule. Not sure who did the powerwashing, but he did a really good job and put my grill and patio/deck furniture back almost exactly where I had it. The team of James, Carl and Harley caulked and painted all exterior siding and all of the trim except for front door and shutters which had been done last year. They were very quick and professional. They did a good job of protecting the landscape plants, my outdoor furniture and my pots of flowers. Finished the job in about a day and a half. We have a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood right now. and my neighbors have commented on their professionalism, especially no loud radios or cussing. My neighbors have also commented on how good the new paint looks. The crew did get some paint on several small stick sprinklers in one flower bed; one had enough paint so that no water could spray out of it. James and I both missed that on the walk around to inspect the work. I saw it later that day (a Saturday) and called the office. The owner called me back quickly and promised to have them out first thing Monday morning to correct the problem. Katie also called me back shortly after to say they would definitely take care of it. James and the team were there early Monday morning, cleaned up the sprinklers, and waited while I tested to be sure they were all spraying OK. They did a great job! My house looks like new!

The crew showed up on time every day. They were very professional in every aspect of the job. They worked hard all day and they paid attention to details. Cleanup was great. The quality of the work is outstanding. I could not be happier with their work. I will absolutely use this company again when I need painting.

From the estimate to the scheduling to the performance of the work, Buckeye did a great job. At first, I thought the price seemed a bit high, but I checked out other companies and I think we got what we paid for. Bob, who came out for the estimate, was extremely thorough and made sure he knew exactly what we needed. Katie was very responsive w/r getting us scheduled, working around some constraints in our schedule, and getting the paint to match. (Although she said she couldn't get an exact match, I sure can't tell the difference!) The painters that were here were quite professional and it took the full day (7+ hours) that Bob had estimated it would take. The porch looks great and we are very pleased with our interaction with Buckeye House Painting.

The painters were professional and friendly. They cleaned up nicely each day and were neat painters. When we had questions about trim colors, Cliff offered suggestions that we valued. It was very nice working with them. We will hire them again for all our painting needs! Thank you for a great job!

They were able to come out earlier than they had expected and arrived on time. Rafael and his crew were very polite and professional. They completed the work in one day and did anexcellent job! I couldn't be happier!

They painted our outside trim and a year later still looks new. If you compare our trim with the surround home our home still look the best.

Provided an estimate in timely manner, she answered all questions and scheduled job within 1 month of estimate. Power washed exterior trim-- my wife thought this was not done properly, completed too quickly. Painter/Alex very responsive and made sure we were pleased with job, neat and well done, agreed to come back in timely manner to touch up minor spots missed, good experience overall and would use company again.

Beginning with the quote, Buckeye was punctual, responsive, and professional. The quote was reasonable (in line with other quotes we received). The person who came for the quote was experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful. She was able to find dates for us well within our time frame, and in fact, called and was able to fit us in one week earlier than we had originally been told. The painters showed up on time, took care in moving furniture and prepping the slace. At the end of day 1, they returned all furniture to its place and even put my window shades back up, they cleaned up after thmselves very well. On day 2 the painter again showed up exactly at the agreed upon time, and again when he was finished, he cleaned everything very well and returned the things he had moved back to their place. The actualy painting job is excellent - they paid close attention to details and did a fantastic job painting our rather complicated combination of angled walls and vaulted ceilings. This is one of THE BEST contractor experiences we have had!

Overall Buckeye House Painting was great.

We had a lot of the interior of our home repainted after moving last Fall and finally narrowing down colors. The first floor had the entry, living room, dining room, kitchen and family room repainted. We also had the staircase, upstairs hallway and 3 bedrooms repainted on the second floor. Buckeye House Painting did an incredible job!!! My husband and I are completely thrilled with the end result. From start to finish this company was very professional. Dan who provided us with our quote arrived promptly at the scheduled time and answered all my questions. He didn't give the feeling of being in a big rush to give us the quote and bolt out the door. The color consultation was wonderful. Katie arrived promptly, and we quickly picked out a color for each room. A few colors I had already narrowed down and she agreed would work. Other rooms she totally guided me in the right direction. The crew that painted for 4 days was awesome! They arrived on time each morning. They worked hard, did not cut corners (that I could see), and cleaned up each evening. They were EXTREMELY hard workers, and I was very impressed with the end result. I can't sing their praises loud enough! We will definitely use them again for future projects and have already told others about our positive experience.

Most wonderful experience! Everyone was prompt and courteous. Dan came out and gave us a quote and was very specific about what it entailed. He mentioned some things I had not even thought of. I thought his price was fair and reasonable. I love the fact that a "color coordinator" came out and worked with me on my color choices. It can be stressful knowing what colors to pick to put on the exterior of your house. They kept contact with me every step of the way, calling in advance for the power wash and painting schedule. They were right on time with what they said. I also liked when there was a rain delay, they let me know they would not be out that day. The prep work and finish work was top notch. They caulked everything and had no problem adapting to things I wanted to change on the fly. The finished work is spectacular. The clean up was great, the guys who painted were professional and courteous. It was a great experience. We had a terrible experience 10 years ago with another painting company and this was exactly the opposite. I would use them again and again and would recommend them to anyone! I have nothing negative to say, it was all positive and terrific. I could go on and on!

This company is top-notch. From the first phone call to set up an appointment for a quote with Dan... to the final walk-through upon project completion, each member of the staff of Buckeye House Painting is professional and their work is of highest quality. I appreciated the color consultation with Katie and the careful, precise work of Bob and his crew. They are indeed a pleasure to work with, and we are so pleased with the result. This recent interior project was actually the third time we have called upon Buckeye House Painting, and there is no doubt, it will not be the last.

The sales rep was very knowledgeable and was not pushy. She was very clear on what they would do, and how they would do it.

They did a great job. Even washed the cedar front of the House. Looks brand new.

Was completely satisfied. Our painter Keith was friendly and professional. Was amazed that he was able to do the whole job by his self. Clean up, touch up work, removing and replacing fixtures and outlets were all done. We had one miscommunication on the color of one of the wall sections in the kitchen, and Keith came back the following week and painted it at no additional charge. Will use this company again, great job.

Our home is only 7 years old, but needed exterior paint (poor builder quality). I searched Angie's List for potential contractors and Buckeye House Painting stood out based on customer feedback. It also helped that my daughter had used Buckeye in the past and was very satisfied. They also offered a nice Angie's List discount which helped. The process started with Katie visiting our home to provide an estimate. She was very knowledgable, personable and helpful. I had a long list of questions -- all of which she answered. I especially appreciated her ideas about how to make the house "pop" (contrast between the siding and corner boards). I was so impressed, I didn't even bother to get another quote. Because of our travel schedule, scheduling the work was a bit of a challenge but Buckeye was very flexible. They kept in contact with me during the scheduling process so I knew exactly what to expect and when. The crew arrived on the appointed day and the first thing on the agenda was to do the prep work. They caulked thoroughly including places the builder missed -- including joints between the Hardiplank siding. They also nailed down a few loose planks for me. They masked the windows to prevent overspray and diligently worked over 3 days to complete the two-coat job. They were very good about cleaning up and the quality of their work was outstanding. Even the president of the home owners association complimented me on the choice of painters as he had used Buckeye in the past. A week after the work was completed, Buckeye mailed me the paint codes for the job so if I ever need touch up (beyond the paint they left), I would have no trouble matching it. A very nice touch! Overall, I was more than impressed with Buckeye and would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job.

Excellent. Katie was outstanding in making arrangements and providing guidance before the work began. Jason and Mike were extremely professional--arrived on time each day and worked late the first day to completely finish the main painting on the house. All trim and brick were carefully masked before beginning. Removed and painted all shutters even though it wasn't in the contract. They painted the chimney and all vent stacks on the roof. Cleanup was thorough. We couldn't have asked for a better crew.

I love the job that buckeye house painting did for us. Dan, the owner, was very responsive to our initial contact, even returning a second time when I added rooms to the original job, and their quote was very competitive. The guys were great: punctual, professional and had very clean working habits. I was very impressed with the work that they did, which i think is hard to do when you're spending a lot of money. Our house looked like a completely different house! On our final walk through, I only noticed very minor corrections such as small nail holes and a couple of drips, all of which they took care of before taking their payment. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and neighbors and I plan on using them again this year for our exterior painting job.

Jason and Mike did a FANTASTIC job! We have a large deck that wraps around the house on three levels plus a large gazebo, so this job required one full week of effort ont the part of the Buckeye painters. Jason and Mike were extremely professional. They arrived each day at 8 am and got right to work. They were extremely attentive to small details and went way beyond what we expected in order to do an outstanding job. Unlike most painters, these two did not spill a single drop of paint that I could detect. Everything was done to perfection, and we will definitely go back to Buckeye for any future painting jobs.

Katie came to our house and discussed the colors and work they would do. She was very professional and very helpful. She returned calls promptly and answered all of my questions. The person who did the work was prompt and professional. It was a great experience. Our front porch and door look amazing.
