Buckeye House Painting

Bob is great and so is his team of painters. I don't think the job was scheduled for as much time as necessary and some hurrying took place. We had several issues and Bob would be quick to address them. I don't expect perfection. We experienced several issues with paint splatters on furnishings,counters and carpet. We noticed a ceiling area that was not painted. Just be sure to check the paint job thoroughly before the team leaves. We had other issues, but since they were resolved through Angie's list disputes, so we can not share those and had to provide no less than "B" feedback. I think they can do a good job, just thoroughly check the work while they are onsite and after they leave.

They were great. The color consultant was key to this project. She listened to our ideas and concerns and suggested the colors she thought would provide the outcome we were looking for. We would not have had the confidence to go with our vision (or the expertise to select the right shades) without her help. They were flexible as well. We had other work going on and they worked with us to fit in to our schedule. The painters were friendly, professional and did excellent work. They took extra precautions with the neighbor?s property on a windy day. We haven?t found any ?stray paint? from the project. When all was done we flat out loved the result. It was beyond our expectations and we have received many compliments on it.

From my first call to get an estimate to the final review of the job, everyone was super nice, on time and did a great job. The estimate was fair given my first floor half bath had stripes that needed to be covered. Katie then came to help pick out some colors that matched the rest of house. Byron and his brothers were awesome. They were on time, cleaned up after each day and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend this company!! They even went above and beyond and painted my bathroom vent white again since it had yellowed over time. All three bathrooms look great! Keep up the great work!!!

From our initial call through to the end of the job, Buckeye House Painting was great to deal with. Katie Fischer came out to discuss the job. She was punctual, professional and charming. We were impressed with her deep knowledge of paint and surfaces and that she brought along a box of paint chips to get just the right shade of white. The fellow she sent to do the power washing was awful. Katie appreciated my letting her know. She apologized, explained and fired him. The redone power washing was great, as was the rest of the job, plus they caulked the sidelights by our front door free of charge. Ryan, the team leader, kept us updated on what the crew was doing and when. Miles, Dominic and Isaac were also great to work with. We were delighted with the finished job. Highly recommend!

We purchase our house three years ago knowing that soon it would require some wood work, caulking and painting. Last year we finally got around it and signed a contract with another company to perform the job. Initially we were told it would take eight weeks to start the job (result of delays due to a particularly raining spring, among other things). They never contacted us again. Then our window of opportunity closed (because our own availability and weather conditions). So we had to wait another year to get back to it. This time we contact Buckeye House Painting, and we are very pleased. Kate Fischer was our main contact. From the estimate, contract, power washing, color consulting, and the actual painting job, things went smoothly, and on schedule. Due to what seems several years of weathering, we needed to change and fix some wood sidings and trims. She recommended an excellent carpenter. We were able to time everything perfectly, and the job was performed as scheduled. Jose and his crew did an amazing job with the prep and the painting. His attention to detail was impressive. As mentioned before, the house required some extra care (and a lot of calking), so we really appreciate how he took his time with the preparation. All the work, from start to finish was excellent.

Robert Klem came to house, gave us an estimate-very professional. He assured me they do not employ illegals. Painters came on time-do not speak English well. One did and asked if everything looked ok. I asked if they were subcontractors for Buckeye. They did not know what that meant. I think maybe they are.

Ten years ago Buckeye House Painting had power-washed and painted the entire exterior (stucco) of our split-level home; the job was done so well that we turned to them again for this bit of work--the front porch, facing south, gets a good deal of wind-blown rain, as does the garage door frame; after ten weathering years, there was need for repair. Bob Klem responded right away, came out to diagnose and give a price; a few days later, Katie came by to match the paint color. The power-wash was scheduled, and very well done. Then the actual painting was scheduled for Sept. 4, the painters arrived as promised at 8:30AM, a husband and wife team, who spent the entire morning on the necessary preparations (which always take longer than the actual painting): scraping, cleaning, sanding, etc. They caulked wherever necessary. The husband, with years of experience, was the expert for the living room wall. After a lunch break, they applied 2 coats of paint to the porch. The work on the living room wall proved a bit more complicated; apparently there had been more water damage to the wall board itself than I had suspected. After the paint had dried, some blemishes still appeared, which the painter himself had thought would happen--and so they returned as soon as all our schedules allowed to address the matter--and did so beautifully. The wall is perfect (and of course we already had had our roofer (the Muth company) take care of the flashing, shingles, etc., so the problem has been solved. All the work, from start to finish (and clean-up) was excellent. This company is responsive, attentive, alert, and very efficient--one can't ask for more.

Buckeye House Painting did a fantastic job! Owner Bob Klem scheduled the free estimate promptly after we first made contact with the company. Once our job date was scheduled, Katie came out and was extremely helpful in assisting us with color selection. The three-man crew arrived on time on the scheduled dates, worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up as they went, and restored everything back to its proper place. Both rooms look beautiful, and I wish we'd contacted them years ago! I highly recommend Buckeye House Painting!

I needed a small area around a stairway painted. They were cost effective, timely, and easy to work with.

We have had our house and deck washed and painted several times, but never before has the job been done as well as by Buckeye House Painting. They were meticulous and careful, and did excellent work. They were careful with furniture and other items on our deck that had to be moved. They even went so far as to caulk in cracks in the deck before painting it?something no other company had done. The skilled crew arrived on schedule and our house now looks much better for their efforts.

It went very well. We were actually overseas on vacation when it came time to do the work and we couldn't get home before the work was scheduled to begin. The weather was good and we wanted to get the work done before it started raining and we're glad we did since it rained most of June and July. We kept in contact with via e-mail with Katie about colors and finishes; and agreed to the colors and finish and when we arrived home, it was like coming home to a new house all together. We love the color and finish, all of our neighbors have rave reviews of how well our house looks that I think some of them are planning to paint theirs too!I've told everyone on the block how happy we are with Buckeye House Painting.

I contacted Buckeye House Painting to talk with them about some painting projects at our home. They were very responsive and Katie came to meet me within a couple days to review the work to be done and provide estimates. Since both interior and exterior work was being done, there was an estimate for each job. A few days after I agreed to go ahead with the work, Katie came back to get color matches for everything. Katie always called a day prior to coming to the house, even if she didn't need to meet with me personally. The interior painting was done first, since it wasn't dependent on the weather. The painters, 3 brothers from Logan, were scheduled to arrive around 8 am. At 7:55 am they pulled into the driveway. They were very neat, professional and polite. They covered all surfaces prior to painting and moved anything which might have either been an obstacle to them or which they feared might fall and get damaged. When the work was completed, everything was returned to its original place, unharmed. The painting was done quickly, without getting smudges on nearby surfaces or paint on the floor. I was very impressed by their work. We had used some other painting companies in the past, but none compared to this. Exterior painting was completed when the weather forecast showed a couple days without rain. (Katie kept watching the weather forecast and would update me about possible start dates for the project.) This painting crew consisted of lead painter, Matilda, her husband and brother. They showed up on time both days. They thoroughly covered areas which were not to be painted. Their work was neat and they cleaned up well when finished. During the painting process, they discovered an area near our gutters where water had caused some wood damage. Matilda pointed this out to me and recommended that I contact a repairman to have the damaged area repaired. She made sure to leave enough paint with me to allow for the damaged areas to be repainted when work was complete. This crew, like the interior crew, was wonderful! My husband and I were very pleased with both the interior and exterior painting jobs and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed painting work.

I am so, so very pleased with his work. The price was less than I expected and the referral to fix the wood, prior to painting went so well. Bob and his team worked very h****** a hot day, covered my landscaping, and did quality work. In missing a place, a worker came back in 2 days to touch up - no extra cost, of course. When I had a problem with a missing wood - very small section, Bob graciously had a worker come, do a fill - in foam, painted it, secured it water prof, and one could not even tell the difference. They even followed up with prompt phone calls. Bob and his team are professionals and I could not be happier. Yep, I would use these folks again.

Our deck was in dire need of refinishing. We had several estimates and narrowed it down to two companies. We decided to go with Buckeye House Painting even though they were a bit higher than the other company because they could do it sooner. They kept in contact about the schedule and preformed the work as agreed . They power washed a few days in advance then came to hand scrape and then stained on the same day. Surrounding areas were covered and they were careful not to trample landscaping. They made suggestions on different shades of stain and helped us decide on a color. The workers were very friendly. They even brought our trash can in from the curb after the trash truck had emptied it. We are very pleased with the appearance of the deck.

Seamless. Owner was very prompt. At the time of payment, no up charges - exactly as estimate. Very pleased.

The provider then came back to me telling me that there would be additional costs, resulting in an amount of $3400. I told him I could not afford that and he said he still wanted me to pay for the paint he purchased in the amount of $600.

After getting quotes from three different contractors, I found Buckeye House Painting to be in the middle of the pack, price-wise. While they weren't the cheapest, we decided to go with Buckeye because of their professionalism and attention to detail. We worked with their color consultant (no additional charge) to determine our paint colors. She suggested some color combinations that we hadn't considered, but really liked. She was open to coming back again if we still weren't sure. They were great about keeping me informed about where we were on their schedule. The project began only one week later than the originally estimated time frame, and a project they said would take 4 days, actually only took 2 1/2 days. They conducted a final walk through of the house to make sure we were happy and nothing had been missed. They clearly stand behind their work. I would highly recommend them for future painting needs.

We just down-sized from our house into a new condo. The new place needed some serious work including painting of the downstairs ceilings and all of the interior walls. We have used Buckeye House Painting in the past for power washing and painting various portions of our previous home, so we asked them to do our new place as well. They are always extremely professional, helpful and reasonably priced. They had a crew of four painters in the condo for three days last week and the place now looks almost like it is newly built. The walls were in pretty bad shape when they started. They took the time to repair all of the holes and scratches in the drywall, which took them almost an entire day. They also worked with my wife to change the color in the master bedroom before the work started. When they were removing the tape from our baseboards and stuff (which they weren't contracted to paint or repair) quite a bit of the white paint on the baseboards came off with the tape. They took the time not only to touch up the baseboards, but they also repainted our fireplace and banisters up our stairs at no additional cost. They expertly matched the color of our trim and even left us a supply of the paint so we can do touch ups in the future. Every time we have used Buckeye House Painting, they obviously care about doing a fantastic job and making sure that their customers are completely satisfied. We really see no reason to go with any other painting contractors for future work, because they have done such an amazing job for us not only this time, but every other time we have used them. We highly recommend Buckeye House Painting for any painting jobs large or small.

I have used painters before and I think this company is outstanding, the best I have ever had. Absolutely outstanding, their clean up was impeccable, the courtesy of the painters was outstanding. There are very few companies that leave a good feeling with me and this is one. I can not tell you what a joy it is to have this company come in and do the work they are an asset to Columbus.

Had an estimate in April and was told that the services will be done (weather permitting) in mid May. Happened just like I was told. After receiving a call that the painters would be out the following day they showed up early and got to work. They did the job in one day (was told it might take two) and the house looks fantastic! They caulked where needed and put two coats on those areas that were needed. When the job was done I was put through a "walk through" to be sure I was satisfied with the job. They also did a complete clean up. The painters were just great. VERY friendly and able to answer all of my questions as well as give me some advice on painting. Don't hesitate to give Buckeye a call.
