We had an awesome experience! Buckeye House Painting provided us with an excellent experience and great quality! We are kicking ourselves for not doing this sooner. My husband is pretty particular when it comes to contracted services and he called me right away and said they did a great job. Highly recommend them and will be hiring them to do our other rooms soon!

They arrive when they say, work very efficiently and the work is high quality -- we have corners where 3 different colors meet and they are perfect. Couldn't be happier with the professionalism and workmanship. The price is very reasonable and competitive. The paint they recommended is wonderful (and has almost no odor). We had difficulty figuring colors since our house is an open floor plan. Katie was knowledgeable, suggested colors we hadn't initially considered and offered tactful, helpful comments on colors we were thinking about (and she was right, our choices were not right for the area.). We receive nothing but compliments on the work and the colors. We would use Buckeye House painting again and highly recommend them.

Buckeye House Painting did an awesome job. The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. James was our paint crew manager. He and his crew did excellent work. They took great care of our home and furniture and cleaned up the entire area. The paint and trim work looks great! Working with Katie was also a great experience. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Buckeye House Painting.

Katie, one of the owners, is really nice and professional. The crew that came to do the work, James, Deven and Troy (hope I got your names right guys!) were also really nice and professional. They did a great job and we would have them back again!

Very professional and efficient during estimate. Explained everything thoroughly. Called with updates on days the work was to be accomplished. The crew was excellent, cleaned up everything and locked my fence gate. So happy with the results.

Great. Katie (the owner) is very professional. Their quote was very competitive. We got quotes from two highly rated companies. Went with Buckeye on instinct. They didn't disappoint. They missed a couple spots, but they were very responsive and came back and took care of it with no drama. I would use them again. We also had them power wash the entire house.

In general Buckeye House Painting did a very good job on painting both the deck and window trim. There were only small minor caulking and paint touch-ups required which were completed during the final walk-through of the work with the sub-contracted painter. However, there was one window trim seam that, prior to the painting, was not visible, and after the painting, was visible, and neither Buckeye House Painting nor the sub-contracted painter would address it even though the sub-contracted painter said it would only need to be sanded and re-painted. This was disappointing and thus while I would have provided an A rating across the board I must lower the rating because a minor item which could be addressed was refused to be addressed.

Fantastic. I am very meticulous and looked carefully; I really could not find anything I was unhappy with. Fair pricing, excellent quality of work and personable staff. Great job.

We couldn't be happier with the outcome of the project. The individual that handled the pressure washing of the deck and house (in advance of painting) was very cordial and professional. The painting crew was the same. Paint coverage was excellent and there was no damage to the landscaping etc. I would definitely use again.

Very well. When the work was done, the two workers asked me to examine their work. What impressed me the most was the pride that they took in their work. You just don't see that anymore. I would hire them again for any paint job.

Fantastic. After the wall paper came down, they skim coated to get a smooth surface before painting. Karl's attention to detail is commendable. He took so much pride in his work. Cleanup afterward was much appreciated. The job was completed in the allotted timeframe. It was very helpful to have Katie assist with color choice. I would highly recommend this company (especially Karl).

They did an excellent job! They put two coats of paint on, explained everything in detail, and the crew was fantastic. I would absolutely hire them again.

I arranged to have my Mom's house repainted. It is a fairly large cedar-sided house in the Dublin area, with a fair amount of window trim and decorative cedar trim details that make the job a bit larger than just a straight flat cedar sided house. I live out of town so responsiveness and communication via email was important to me, in addition to price and quality. Katie Fischer was our contact, she came out while I was in town and did an estimate on the spot. She also referred us to a carpenter who could help repair some of the siding and indicated she would coordinate schedules with the carpenter. Everything went like clockwork. We enlisted the carpenter to do repairs, Katie matched the colors, her team came out and completed the work in a few days. One day during the painting process, thunderstorms were imminent and one of the team came back to my mom's house at 8pm at night to put the gutters back up in case of a storm...that was very professional! There were no cost surprises and the money wasn't due until completion of the work. After the initial meeting Katie and I arranged the logistics via email, which was perfect with me being remote...I didn't have to play voicemail tag. The whole job was professional end to end. We received a couple of competitive quotes, and Buckeye was right in the price range of others.

Everything was great! From our first contact to the completed job, Buckeye exceeded our expectations. Bob was professional and friendly when he came out to quote the project. He took his time explaining their process and products. Katie was a wonderful help with color selection and scheduling. The crew was prompt and professional. They cleaned up after each day and moved all of the furniture back so our home wasn't a clutter during the process. We'll use them again for sure.

I was very disappointed with the service and pushback that I received. I cannot help but feel that at the very least they owe me an apology. I am NOT the paint expert- that is why I hired them. They should have educated me from the beginning about the way this might turn out. I never expected something for nothing. I knew that it had been some time since I had the trim painted. There was no mention of this at all in the estimate. If I had been educated that the estimate would cover touch-ups once- and after that I would have to pay- I would have been ok with that. But no one mentioned that to me at all. From the first time I called and asked about touch ups- nothing was mentioned about a “sheen variation.” This is what they called the reason that some of the window trim looked a different color from the rest of the windows. The only mention of this came after I asked about touch-ups for the second time- when they became very frustrated with me. Again- this was not my fault- I was not informed. All I wanted was for my house to look nice. I could care less that “you can only see those spots in the sun”- to me- and other people I showed it to- it looked like spots were missed. The first time Jose came back, he gave a lot of pushback- to the point of being combative- saying I put 2 coats on everything. But when he looked, there were actual white spots that he had to paint- one of them was a long white line on my garage door. He put so much paint to cover that white line, I had to actually pry the garage door apart with a citrus peeler to get it free so that I could open it. I am sure that he did not do that to be spiteful – just to be sure that it was covered. Let me mention again that I was not educated that the garage doors might stick after they were painted- so I was more than a little surprised that I could not open my garage door to take out my trash. This is another instance where a little info would have been very helpful. The 3rd time that I called for touchups- Katie informed me via email that if this didn’t work- there was not much else that could be done; essentially letting me know that she was no longer interested in helping me. No mention of an additional coat for an additional cost. I would have been happy to pay for another coat. So where does this leave us? I am happy to say that after the 3rd visit, the window trim that had “sheen variation” no longer does. However, my garage doors were again painted shut- something that I was not expecting- since I had no problem with that area again- so I am wondering why this happened. Also, I noticed that is some dark grey paint splatter (trim color) on my siding- which was not there before the 3rd visit. I am sad that it came to this- this company was highly recommended and I was happy to choose to work them. Alas, now I am NOT so happy. They should have quoted me additional expenses and educated me about the coverage instead of making me feel like I was a stupid nuisance. No one likes to feel like they have to nag and pester people to do the job that they paid for. I would NEVER use them again- and will NEVER recommend them to anyone- it’s just not worth it. I will share my terrible experience.

I would not work with this company again. The painters rushed a two day estimated project into one day, which was to paint the trim/doors, ceiling and walls of our newly remodeled bathroom and bedroom. After day one of work, I was told it was ready for the "final walk through". They work was sloppy! There was wall paint on outlets, doors, our furniture, trim, the shower door, and the trim lines were sloppy. A piece of our brand new vanity had been damaged when tape was removed post painting, and a patch of our ceiling was left unpainted (we ended up fixing the ceiling ourselves). It was obvious the job had been rushed. We immediately contacted the office and were told all issues would be fixed. When the painter returned the next day he was very patient and polite as I walked him through the issues. Most of it was corrected, but it is unacceptable for professionals to try to pass off that kind of work. We were terribly disappointed.

They are fantastic! Very professional workers, paint job looks outstanding and they clean up afterwards. We have had them before (painted outside stucco) and are very pleased with their services. We plan on having them do more painting for us.

We'll hire them again-- we already have! They are coming back in May to do some other painting and I'm certain we'll use them for our painting needs in the future. The work is beautiful, pricing is competitive and I've had great interactions with everyone from their team. A+++

Painters were on time, courteous and did an excellent job.

This was our second experience with Buckeye House Painting, the first being interior painting of our finished basement and a half bathroom, and the second being interior painting of an upstairs bedroom and closet. Both times we have used this company the entire process from getting a quote to having the work completed has been timely and without complication. All contacts that I've had with this company have been great, everyone is friendly and professional. The quality of work completed was excellent.

Absolutely awesome! Dieter and his assistant really exceeded our expectations. We had a wall/ceiling that had some past water damage and it looks like new! From estimate, to picking colors, to completion AND follow-up email, this company was excellent to work with.

My son and his girlfriend moved into a new house and began painting, and they had trouble getting a clean line along the trim and also up at the ceiling. I've had BHP do work for me before and have been very pleased with their work so I left a message about getting an estimate for them to touch up the trim, along the ceiling, and in the two-story foyer. Katie called me right back; she went out to the house the next day and met with my son's girlfriend, who asked for an estimate on painting their downstairs rec room and a small hallway. I decided to pay to have the upstairs trim re-done as a house-warming gift and the kids decided to go ahead with having the rec room done. The painters came out the following week and completed the job in one day and, in the words of the kids, the finished result is, "awesome!!" The painters did a beautiful job. This is the first time my son and also his girlfriend have hired painters and they're so glad they did. They said it would have taken them weeks working a few hours a night to get the same areas done themselves (they both work full time), the house would have been a mess the whole time and the painting job wouldn't have looked anywhere near as nice. The kids told me that this was the best house-warming gift ever.

This review is LONG overdue BUT I still wanted to write one because I truly BELIEVE this company was AMAZING and did an EXCELLENT JOB!! I appreciated the professionalism and the workers were on top of completing all the work correctly. Someone (I believe her name is Kim) came out, did the assessment on the house, worked with me and was very helpful on providing me with her thoughts on what truly needed to be painted (including my gutters.............what a difference)! She was great to work with and so were the painters (they were very professional and detailed)! LOVED this company and would definitely use them again! PLUS, I thought they were fairly priced and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone who does superior work!
