CHET'S AUTO REPAIR

I use my vehicle exclusively for business and I need it running to the fullest every day. There is now no one else that I trust, but Chet's Auto! I cannot speak highly enough of Steve and his staff! They were able to effectively diagnose several automobile problems with my vehicle that had previously plagued my other mechanics! My car has never been happier or run smoother in its entire life! Finding an honest mechanic is truly a problem these days and I'm happy to report that Chet's Auto has demonstrated absolute integrity and dedication to my problems with a rapid turnaround and successful resolution every time! If you aren't using them, you're crazy!

Steve, has taken over the business. They are great and honest, trustworthy and reliable. Ad reasonably priced, and timely. They don't keep the vehicle for days on end, speedy service with quality results. They made all the deference in the world. My car now runs great.

All the work was done properly and the vehicle was ready as promised. There was no need to return. I will definitely reference them. Every time I've been there, it's been as promised.

Around Christmas ran over a small tractor tire that was on the road while driving in the expressway. It did extensive damage underneath our SUV. I had the SUV towed to Chet's Auto Repair because they are located close to my home. They were exceptionally great. They received the SUV late that day, performed the damage inspection the next day and asked me to stop by to discuss the damage which was quite substantial. My insurance adjuster stop by their shop the next day and agreed with their assessment even though they are not one of their "preferred shops". They started the repairs as soon as parts arrived and called me to let me know the repair was done quicker than what I expected. The quality of the job done is superb. We have been driving the SUV 3 months after the repairs and so far everything looks and feels great. The best was how nice they were through the whole thing, how helpful they were with the process and their constant phone call updates to let me know how everything was going. I am very, very pleased with the service, the repair and the overall experience.

Recently had it towed to Chet's and had the alternator replaced as well as some routine maintenance work. I take it twice a year just to be looked over and prepare for the summer/winter season. There have been several occasions when nothing has been found beyond small, basic maintenance. They are very practical and don't recommend things that are not needed. They are also extremely busy so call in advance if possible.

They did a really great job.  They are very honest and professional and treat us very well.  I would highly recommend them to others.  Their prices are really reasonable as well.

They are dependable and we are satisfied with their services.

We recently moved to Pataskala and when we had any issues, usually took our vehicles to a dealer. I had two cars that needed immediate service; a newer car that needed the power window fixed and a classic car with concerning suspension issues. I knew if I took the one car to the dealer the repair was going to run me $500+ and I was figuring the classic car issues were going to run me $500+ so I was prepared to drop a grand on repairs (ugh). My neighbor told me to take my cars to Chet's and I wouldn't be sorry, so I did. Steve was polite, professional and understands the sense of urgency of the issues his customers face. He got the car with the window issue in right away and shocked me when the price tag came in at $400! Next up was the classic car which ended up only needed minor issues costing about $150, so I had him do some exhaust repairs that I was putting off. All said and done, what I thought was going to cost me a grand only ended up costing me $550, plus the $200 for the exhaust add on. I will be a loyal customer for life due to the honesty on the part of Chet's. They could have easily charged me for repairs that didn't need to be made, but they didn't. They have really good customer service. He is a local guy and I like the fact that I am staying local. I don't think that he tries to do more than is necessary. He is very good about turnaround time and it will be ready in a day if they have said so. I had gone there once with a punctured tire and they just patched it and didn't charge me at all.

I believe that they're fair and honest. When they say they are going to finish a project, they do it on time. It's just a small town type of feel. I have never felt like I have been taken advantage of at all. They just give good service and I was pleased with them.

I trust them. They really try to help me out. A couple of the parts they used have gone bad, but they've replaced them for free.

They are very professional, nice, and do quality work. They always do their best at a fair price. They take care of everything quickly. I have a wheelchair accessible van and he actually was of better service than the other specialists were supposed to be.
