Excellent! My husband and I are hurriedly trying to prepare our home for sale in order to relocate. Our schedule was a little rushed because I was scheduled for surgery out of state. Dave came to give us his estimate, and I was immediately impressed with his customer service and professionalism. After receiving his initial estimate, we discovered that we needed to add rooms and he returned to give us an updated estimate! Each time, I had his quote by the end of the same business day. Because of our scheduling crunch, Dave worked with us to get the job done as quickly as possible. He arrived promptly at 8am each morning and immediately began working. At the end of each day, he moved everything back into place and cleaned the area. He kept us abreast of what each day's task would be, and never strayed from that schedule. This really made it convenient for us since he worked around us and a lot of packing boxes. We also felt secure in leaving Dave to work while we were away each day. He was kind enough to ensure our home was secure if we weren't present when he finished the day's task. To me, that says a lot! We are so impressed with the completed project! Our home looks bright and fresh! The amount we paid for this project was worth every dime because of the quality of the workmanship, the supplies used, and the professionalism of our contractor. We compared the quotes of other Angie's List contractors and some were lower. However, it's like the adage says "You get what you pay for", and we received a finished project that will definitely aid us in selling our home that much faster! We highly recommend Tingle Painting and would gladly use them for all of our painting needs.

Dave Tingle called ahead to confirm that the dates still worked for us. He and his assistant showed up on time and thoroughly power washed the areas to be painted. They took extra care to be sure that they did not damage the landscaping around the house. They used drop cloths to protect the patios etc. and were careful with the ladders to avoid damaging the gutters. Although it was not in the contract, Dave Tingle took the time to touch up an area where concrete had splashed on the stucco when a new stamped patio was recently poured. This included an extra trip, extra paint and extra time in matching and blending in the repainted area. The end result was great. Dave and his assistant are great to work with. They are conscientious, polite and always ask question when in doubt. I will definitely use them again for additional painting that I need to have done in the future. They exceeded my expectations.

They were not able to meet the timeframe that I needed but I had a very positive interaction with them. He was very prompt to get back to me. He was very professional. He gave a very good description of what was needed after looking at the house. He was very honest about the fact that he wouldn't be able to do it in the timeframe that I needed. He didn't try to indicate otherwise. Overall it was a very positive interaction. The person I’m using is doing a great job and his price was a little lower than Tingle but I think I would have been fine using Tingle.

Dave Tingle came out and gave an estimate and dates that the project could be done. He required a 25% deposit before starting the job. Dave and his assistant (also Dave) started the project on the date promised. He took extreme care to assure that the paint was the correct color (Benjamin Moore color swatch needed to be transferred to Sherwin Williams paint). On the first day Dave told us which day he would be painting a specific area so we could remove things as needed (e.g. - empty the closets and pantry). Both painters were very neat and did an excellent job cutting in corners and painting around things that could not be moved (ceiling speakers). They also caulked around woodwork and taped and used plastic drop cloths to cover the floor, cabinets, counter tops, etc. They were very polite and non-intrusive during their week of painting in our house. (No radios, cell phone calls in the house.) They showed up on-time every day and finished before our dinner time. They are by far the best painters that I have ever hired.

Dave was very methodical and meticulous in his work. He taped all woodwork and achieved a straight, clean edge. He was punctual and worked all day, cleaning up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend him.

Overall, Dave was wonderful. From start to finish he was the best!

The results were fantastic, and the process was as painless as possible. Both painters were very professional, and I felt completely comfortable having them in my house while I was not at home. I also greatly appreciate the amount and quality of communication. Dave would always be available by phone and would call as needed to provide updates and ask questions. I highly recommend this company.

If I was able to give a higher rating than "A", I would. Dave was VERY professional and did everything top notch. He was quick to give an estimate and we felt very comfortable with him in our new home. Dave was extremely meticulous and detail oriented. We were blown away when he cut out a tiny section of the wall that had an imperfection in it in order to get the wall perfectly smooth. The previous homeowners had large holes in the walls from pictures, mirrors, etc. Dave patched everything so well you can't even tell anything was ever there (and believe me my husband checks that stuff). An added touch was Dave getting us in touch with a designer to help us pick out paint colors. He took his time to make sure that we were completely satisfied. We are already planning on having him back. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I have happily recommended him to the many people who have walked thru our home. Dave came out right away to give estimate and emailed it immediately. He started probably a week after the estimate (I got lucky he had a delay in another job). He was great about telling me what would happen every day--ceiling repair, paint woodwork, walls. He and his partner, Dave, came every day (for a week) at 8:00 left before we got home from work, cleaned up everyday. The materials were included in price and he picked them up. I can't say enough about how easy they both were to work with--how professional--very knowledgeable, they gave me lots of suggestions. The painting job looks beautiful and this experience was excellent--they made it very easy!

They do a good job. They are very detail oriented and meticulous with the clean up and while they are here. You never actually know that they have been here. Their prices are very competitive.

Dave came out and gave me an estimate last summer, but due to some personal situations we decided to put the project on hold. Dave had sent me a couple of "winter specials" but we hadn't made any decisions at that time. When we decided to go ahead this spring, Dave offered us a "winter special" price which we really appreciated as it was past the special offer date. He was very easy to work with. We set a date for the painting to start, but the contractor that was doing my countertops, floor, etc. was held up and Dave changed his date without a problem. He was punctual every day, kept me up-to -date as to what was going to be done each day and how the project was coming. His knowledge of the products he used was outstanding; I felt very informed every step of the way. As I used several colors in various places, the job was a little more complicated than just going in and painting the same color everywhere. He was very patient and worked with me as I changed my mind on color a couple of times. His cleanup each day was impeccable. Everything was cleaned and put away at the end of each workday. Dave is a perfectionist and went above and beyond our expectations many times. The method he uses to make perfect lines when painting the woodwork, chair rail, and baseboard are unlike anything I've seen before and the outcome was superb!!! I will always use Dave for my painting projects and HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to others.

The overall experience was excellent! Dave presented himself very professionally and his professionalism showed in his work. He took his time with answering all of my many questions from start to finish. Definitely a class act and you can put your trust in him and his work. Hiring Dave will get your job "done right the first time." I ran some audio/video cables through the wall to hang a TV. My wall looked like swiss cheese and Dave came in and made it look impeccable! I would highly recommend Dave as your first choice painter and gladly have him return to complete other painting projects in the future.

From the time the estimate was provided, Dave was professional and courteous. We requested quotes from two other painters, and Dave's price was right in the middle. Dave was also able to provide a more precise quote than one of the other painters who warned us that there might be higher costs that he couldn't predict associated with our red accent walls. While the work was being completed, the painters cleaned up after themselves daily making the job minimally intrusive. At the end of the job, the look was professional and crisp. We then decided to change the color of one of the walls to the accent color. Dave came back quickly to make this change for us and touch up a couple of spots. The cost associated with this change was very reasonable, and we were very happy with how well he accommodated our request. Overall, we had a great experience and plan to hire Dave back to paint our basement in the future.

They were professional, responsive and punctual. They also cleaned up after themselves. The quality of their work was very good and I was satisfied with their service.

When we were searching for a company, Dave was willing to come out and give us an estimate the next day. After comparing his estimate with competitors, he was extremely competitive, and we appreciated the professionalism and time he took in discussing finishes and color choices for the rooms. Dave listened, and offered some suggestions and ideas that we had not considered. The following week, Dave began the job. He arrived right when he said he would both days, which was extremely important since my wife and I both work. Also, we had installed a new medicine cabinet in the master bathroom, and there were concerns over the gaps left between the drywall and the new cabinet. Dave spent twenty minutes the night before arriving to discuss options, and assure us he could handle this unexpected challenge. Dave and his associate worked efficiently and professionally, leaving us a nightly update of where they were in the process of the job, specifically what was already completed, and what specifically needed to be completed the next day. Dave finished the job right on schedule in both cost and time. The one issue that pushed this experience to great for us, was the color we selected for the guest bathroom was not what we hoped it would be once applied. We contacted Dave, and he was willing to come out the next week and paint the bathroom again once we had chose a color. I cannot emphasize enough how professional, friendly, and willing to help Dave was throughout the process. I highly recommend his work, especially if you need some professional advice and consultation. We will use Dave again in the future.

Dave painted two coats of paint to our exterior trim and stucco on our house. The stucco was very difficult because it is so sculptured. We were very please with the results and the house still looks great after 6 years. We will definitely call him again when it needs repainted. He is easy to work with and we have used him several time for interior since then. If we need anything painted we call Dave!

They did a very thorough and professional job. They were careful to use the correct spray pressure in the cleaning process, applying enough pressure to get the house clean but not too much so as not to cause any damage. I walked around the house with them as they worked and watched them. They were careful and meticulous with attention to detail. The house looked like new once they were done. We have hired Tingle Painting before for painting and they always do an excellent, professional job. We were happy to see that the same applies to their power-washing. We will have them back to do this again when it's needed again.

Tingle painting did our upstairs walls when we first moved in and we loved their work so we asked them to do the basement. As before, they were professional, meticulous, and conscientious. They are always willing to go the extra mile to please the customer. For example, before they left they even cleaned the basement sink they had used to draw mop water. Dave Tingle and his crew are true professionals and experts.

I have used them twice and they were excellent and completely professional. I liked them so well, I called them back to do exterior work. They were very honest with me and told me that they only do interior.

His quality of work is exceptional. His prices are very reasonable and he is very reliable.

The paint crew arrived at the expected date and time. The job took 3 days which was the expected time frame. The crew cleaned up all paint materials every night so there was no disruption in the house. Everyone was very courteous and professional. I am very happy with my new paint job!
