It was okay. After he got here in two hours he said "Oh, it'll be additional $75 of person an hours. It's like he didn't want to listen to what I wanted. He want to do what he want to do. I would not use them again in the future.

Highly recommended. Dan is that rare electrician up to the challenge of old houses.

Work went very well. On time as promised. Clean.

Contractor showed up on time and did a very good job.

I want to be fair to these guys, part of how they worked was just right: no monkey business on the pricing, the stuff they painted looked good, they scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. If we were just having a few rooms repainted in a different color they'd probably be fine. But there was just way, way too much drama managing them for me to use them again. We've been in our older home about 10 years, needed some touch up/ repairs done, bought an Angie's list deal for a week's worth of work. Estimator came over to check it out, early vibes that they might not be that sophisticated of painters (concern about treatments suggested for crazing that didn't seem right), assumed they might have been fishing for additional hours, not that concerned. Grew more concerned later. When crew came over, crew leader was confused about the paints (since it was touch up, many different cans in different rooms), spent A LOT of time on that. Then there were lots of "problems" with the paints, some probably legitimate (age), some frankly ridiculous (can't paint latex over Kilz primer). Authorized them to buy some paint just to get them going. Complaints about the use of oil-based paint on the back door - ruined one of their brushes, we'd have to pay for that (they didn't charge us, but seriously?). Had them paint over a small section of crayoned wall in the basement, they suggested leaving it just primed not applying a topcoat - um, no. Had planned on them pulling some nails in a bookshelf and filling the holes and repainting, they made it seem like a really big deal, so just let it go (did it myself over the holiday...wasn't that hard). Like I said, what they painted looked fine. But it was just way too exhausting to manage these guys for me to want to bring them back. YMMV.

They sent two guys for four hours, I don't even know what they did. I had actually bought the deal for light wall repair. I needed them to prep my walls. They caulked between wall and ceiling. They asked me if I washed the walls. And they said it was not a big deal that I had not. I had to use oil based paints. They sprayed oil based paint in a few places. It literally took me 8-10 additional hours to prep the area for paint. The one thing they did do, was that they were very flexible in rescheduling.

Very professional, I can't say enough good things about him. He brought in the flooring and materials, purchased the toilets, and his price was very reasonable for all the work he did. Excellent work and the folks who work with him also very professional, they did an excellent job painting and always left things nice and clean. Delauro exceeded my expectations.

Contacted party. Explained the work I wished to have done. Was told to send contact information to their web site and did so. Have not had a response and in the meantime, I contacted another provider.

Plumper came to house, said clog was too bad and he couldn't help.

They estimated these jobs and one bigger painting job. I had planned to hire them for all. but my experience had some problems. Biggest issue. Buyer beware. Although they offer numerous deals on angies list. they only mean it for a new customer. So it is a one time shot to use a deal with them although that is not explained in deal offers. Other issue- arrived with wrong paint, not as discussed. Once I discovered it, many unpleasant conversations to get it straightened out. First day only power wash deck and argue about correct paint. Second day went better, as requested. Left by about 3 pm. Third day done about 2 pm. Paint gritty spatters from drylock paint on washer, dryer, some items in basement. Work adequate. Paid added $525 materials to prime, paint basement and stain deck.

It was such a bad experience of unreturned phone calls, and returned phone calls with promises made, but never completed. Finally after I left a very terse message I got an apologetic phonecall. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me 3+ times by not following through, shame on you. Broken promises are so much worse than simply calling and saying "I can't get there on Friday as I promised", etc. Angie's List refunded our entire purchase price. Very nice man, but maybe he had more work than he could handle. Had he simply been a better communicator, I think his work would have been really good.

Everything went great. Nice and pleasant guys.

They pointed out to us where an electric line to the house needed to be repaired by the power company immediately. We had know idea. Kudos to them. With winter coming who wants to be without electricity???

Totally on time. Clean clothing....a smile and a handshake. Ran into some problems with one of the fixtures and the owner of the company showed up....Very pleased with all of the work

They never arrived as we had scheduled and never called to let me know.

I needed a plumbing consult. I'm doing the work myself, but wanted a plumber to verify my plans before submitting the permit application. I called DeLauro, and he said that's something he could do. He would call me back shortly to schedule. And then never called back. Rude and unprofessional! Delayed my plumbing permit by 2 weeks. I understand if such a small job isn't worth his effort, but just be honest upfront.

He showed up a little late but did the job as I ask and also gave me a ball park estimate for flooring

They did a good job. Scheduling was easy and they were very responsive.

Did not complete the work, I had to fix it Two guy both went to pick up stuff on my time. Left stuff behind.

We did the Angie's List deal so we had two guys for four hours. These guys were great. They arrived right on time, got set up and got to work. And they really hustled too to get all of the work done that we wanted. We would definitely use them again!

Everything went ok. The painting was ok but they didn't get as much done as I expected. There was a bad snow storm the day of the work and one of the guys was late but I am not holding that against them because the weather was so bad.

It went fine except when they stained the door my utility room was left in a mess the stain was all over the walls, the utility sink and the floor. They did return and did a good job in cleaning up everything.

The workers were prompt and courteous. All of the tasks were done satisfactorily. I was less satisfied with these aspects of the performance of the tasks: As one of the workers worked on mounting the window blinds he used a bed for a work surface. I was not pleased with observing this. I would have gladly provided a table if he would have requested one. At bed time I had the unpleasant experience of finding a small drill bit on top of the bed comforter, apparently having been undetected by the workers when they cleaned up. For this reason I gave them a C for professionalism. Secondly I noticed that they had not installed the center mount on two five foot café rods that they put up. When I questioned this, the worker told me that a center mount was not necessary. What seemed unimportant to him was that his customer, while acknowledging that it was not necessary, WANTED the center mount put up (like the ones put up on other windows by another handyman without discussion). For this reason I gave them a C for responsiveness. They complied with my request by installing the center mount for the remaining three rods but did not offer to go back and complete the initial ones.

He came out to the house and I showed him the room that we wanted painted. He also gave me a quote on painting the entire house. The quote was in my estimation high and in order to paint the living room he quoted more than double the money I already paid. He was courteous but I guess I grossly underestimated what a professional painter can do in a 8 hour period of time or 2 professionals in 4 hours. My husband is recovering from surgery so we would not be able to move furniture and maybe that was also why the quote was so high. My husband still has not recovered fully so that is why we decided that we cannot do the painting right now at the estimated price. I did try to get my money back sooner. Someone called from Angie's list and said they would send me the link and it never came. Then I sent another e-mail that did not get answered so even though a lot of time has elapsed this is my third attempt to get a refund. Thank you for responding to me!!

The deal offered exterior and interior painting. The vendor advised it was an error, and that the deal was for interior painting only. I did not need interior painting.
