NORTH SHORE LANDSCAPE DESIGN

The work performed exceeded my expectations. My back landscape beds were done incorrectly when our home was built but it took a couple of years for problems related to this to manifest themselves. I decided to not use the original contracters to correct these problems since they were not helpful when I contacted them and were unresponsive to my concerns, While this clearly isn't right, I didn't want the battle and preferred to go to new landscape service that would offer fresh ideas and were enthusiastic about doing the work! I found the right company in North Shore Landscape, The job foreman, Ryan, offered great solutions to the problems and we were very pleased with the results. We also had about 20 large boulders and assorted shrubs added to a very large mulched transition bed between our back lawn and woods. It looks great. Also on a very positive note, the contractor didn't mind me watching them work through the whole job, commenting frequently and being very involved from start to finish. Not all contractors are comfortable with that. But with this job, the final design decisions had to be done in stages so my constant involvement was needed. It was a great experience and their pricing was very fair for all the work they did. We would hire them again for any future work.

We worked with Matt at NorthShore who was delightful throughout the entire project. From the initial meeting, quote, and throughout completion he was outstanding in all phases of the job. The patio design and walkway which were created and a step landing from our back door exceeded our expectations. The work was done very timely and every aspect of the work was wonderful. We would definitely recommend NorthShore to anyone in need of their services.

They are reliable and professional. Their pricing is very competitive. They are very conscientous. I will continue to use them in the future.

They were excellent. They cleaned up. They didn?t leave any marks on my grass. They were very polite and nice. I couldn?t have asked for me. I spent around $500. I had a couple of other estimates, and they were better than the others. Also, I liked them because they did good work. I will use them again in the future.

There was a little bit of follow up work that they completed today with total satisfaction.

My husband and I contacted North Shore Landscaping and Design Co as he knew the owner for many years working with him on occasion at my husbands work. We also knew the owners father who ran a similar business for many years and was revered in the city of North Royalton, OH as a general contractor and used his services also for our city sewer upgrade at our home. North Shore's job went promptly and on time and conducted a debrief period at the end of each day about the day's progress. All materials on the proposal were brought to bear as stated. The job was inspected by the city and was in complete compliance. We both were satisfied with the efficiency and time frame of the project. We hope others will contact them if their needs require a reliable and reputable contractor not just for landscaping, but larger foundation work such as ours.

When I first moved to Cleveland from Columbus I didn't have any contacts and needed work done. I called many, many "references" and ads in the local paper. Jeff called me back and showed up promptly. I didn't get the run around like I have many times prior from other contractors. I have had a definitely pleasant experience with North Shore. They listened to my ideas and were very patience with me, but when I did make a decision to move forward they did so immediately. It was great to get all of the projects done in a timely fashion. The work they did is excellent and they guarantee it. I definitely recommended working with Jeff Modock and North Shore.

NorthShore explained exactly what the procedure would be to fix the crack in the basement wall. They dug it out by hand, cleaned the wall and applied the necessary materials to seal the area in question. It took approximately 24hrs. for the materials to dry before covering the wall area. The area was blocked off, and secured while drying. They returned the whole area to its original state on completion of the job, all shrubs, mulch,etc. They did a great job.

The crew was very professional, prompt, and finished the job in a timely mannor. They left the yard vertually untouched and it was difficult to tell that the foundation was dug up and repaired.

In one week they were done!. It was well thought out and organized as the stones initially had to be stacked around the yard in piles in order of use and size. They brought huge equipment every day to lay those stones which took some doing. The design was there but they had to put it together like a puzzle and line everything up for a back deck entry. They did an incredible job. No one else would touch it without cutting the stones. While they were puttijng in the drain tile they corrected an error in the tile around the house that would have caused problems. Brought things to our attention throughout job.,Matt is proffesional and has great customer service skills that would assist any job to completion.

I called and left messages for someone at the company to call me back about a hydroseeding job. I left messages on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A week and a half later I have still never received a call back.

The price was very reasonable for all of the work that's been done. They are very professional, and are willing to go out of their way to do little things that are not in the contract, such as picking up the fountain for me. I also had a tree in the back, and it was the wrong one so I needed to take it back to the provider. Northshore pulled out the tree and drove it back to the provider for me and did not charge a thing. So far I am very happy with them.

My husband met up with him at our house and the man from this company took some notes about the job that we wanted done and he said that he would either mail or email the estimate to us. We never heard from him and it is hard to do business with someone that never gets back to you.

I thought it went pretty well. The company stayed on task, they stuck to the amount and in fact we got some extra dirt with the whole thing.

They were terrific. They worked within the boundaries of my budget and came up with a great solution.

Jeff came out quickly and was very informative. He is very customer oriented. He gave great suggestions and our yard looks great. They cleaned up well and other than the great work, you wouldn't know they were here. They are professionals and are easy to work with. We would recommend them to others. However, we have been trying to get a follow up here at the end of summer and it has been a little difficult to reach them. Seems like they have gotten a little busy for us.

HE WAS QUICK TO RETURNED MY CALL. HE SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT ON TIME. PROMISED AN ESTIMATE BY SNAIL MAIL. IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST 2 WEEKS, STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT. SUMMER TIME IS PROBABLY NOT A GOOD TIME OF THE YEAR TO BE PLANNING A LANDSCAPING PROJECT.

THE TEAM DID A GREAT JOB. MATT AND JEREMY WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH AND WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING. THE NEW WATERFALL, STREAM, AND POND ARE BEAUTIFUL AND LOOK MUCH MORE NATURAL THAN THE OLD POND. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT NORTHSHORE AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I'VE HIRED THEM IN THE PAST AND THEY ARE VERY CREATIVE AND DO A WONDERFUL JOB.

HE CAME OUT, GAVE ME HIS CARD, AND LET ME KNOW WITHIN A FEW DAYS THEY WOULD LAY OUT THE PLAN AND GIVE ME A PRICE. IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST A MONTH OR A MONTH AND A HALF AND I HAVE HEARD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

NO ONE EVER CALLED ME TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.

PLAYED PHONE TAG FOR SOME TIME, EVENTUALLY THEY STOPPED RETURNING CALLS.

JEFF WAS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH AND DID HIS BEST TO MAKE US HAPPY. THE ONLY PROBLEMS WERE IN THE COMMUNICATION OF EXACTLY WHAT WAS EXPECTED TO THE WORKERS, NOT ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE AGAIN.

THE COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WAS ONE OF THE FEW THAT DREW UP REAL BLUEPRINTS FOR THE DESIGN AND ACCOMMODATED OUR FEW REQUESTS FOR CHANGES. THEY REPLACED A PLANT THAT NEVER 'TOOK TO" THE NEW ENVIRONMENT AT NO CHARGE AND WERE EFFICIENT AND CLEANED UP BEAUTIFULLY AT THE END OF THE DAY.
