STEVE'S HOME MAINTENANCE

Steve is easy to work with. We had him do some work a couple of years ago. He diagnoses the problem and gives you a solution you can understand. He works quietly and is clean. I left him alone in my house for several hours while I worked in my office. You can definitely trust him.

I've known him for 7 or 8 years and he does a lot of odd jobs. As I got more comfortable with him, I've given him access to my house (including bedrooms). I observed him opening up my jewelry box and safe, and at the time I didn't think anything of it (although I should have). I had a valuable coin (heirloom), and it is now missing from my bedroom. It disappeared shortly after he did some work for me, and there is absolutely no one else that comes into my house. He denied it, but you could tell by his body language that he was lying. He proceeded to ask me how much the coin was worth. I have filed a police report at this time, and my purpose of this report is to be sure you don't make the same mistake I did by letting this man into my house. REBUTTAL TO SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE: (9/7/10) He had the run of my house because he had possession of my garage door opener. He would come and leave when he pleased. He is not a friend of mine. I saw him in my jewelry box as well as my safe and I believe he took my air loom coin which was inside the jewelry box. The work he did for me was fair, not the greatest. I do not owe him 60 dollars. I could not have called him to tell him it was the wrong account because I only have one account. He was a handyman who had become familiar with me and the house. I am a senior citizen who has been taken advantage of. THE COIN WAS NOT MISPLACED. IT WAS MISSING AFTER HE LEFT THE HOUSE.

Steve was very efficient and fixed it very quickly. Very professional, efficient and worth every penny- very reasonable in cost. He has done other work for us, including heating and air conditioning repair and maintenence, as well as lots of stuff on my "honey do" list (my honey is NOT handy). We HIGHLY recommend him- he was great.

My concern was that the things I needed repaired might be too small....but Steve assured me that no job was too small. I had sliding doors sticking, a plugged sink, screen door knob, light fixture, etc. and Steve just went about his business and everything was repaired.

Steve performed some general home repairs and maintenance on a Mobile home I owned. With his help I was able to get the home in Good condition and sell it. He performed all the tasks I asked him too and should up when he said he would. His pricing was very fair.

Steve appeared on schedule and started on the list of problems. One by one, he patiently fixed each problem. He was enthusiastic, efficent and diagnosed each solution quickly. He finished in 2 hrs. and will come back to replace the couplings on the hoses. Steve is a terrific resource for any homeowner. I hope NEVER to be without him in the future.

Steve's quote was far lower than we had received from competitors. The installation went fine and there were no additional charges.

Steve usually makes arrangements to take care of problems as quickly as possible. Even stopped over on a Sunday afternoon after calling him that morning. Everything he has fixed, furnace, water leaks, outdoor faucets, etc were completed quickly and no issues.

He was busy with other jobs, but was able to fit in seeing what was needed in the morning, and come back to do the work later in the day. He assesses the problem quickly and accurately, and does the work efficiently.

Steve personally answered the phone when I called, came out the next day for estimate, arrived 10minutes early on the day of the job and completed all in 2 1/2 hrs. Really nice guy that knows his stuff. He even saved me money by repairing rather than replacing my arbor. Very satisfied, will definitely use him again.

Steve responded to my call promptly. He looked at our problem the same day that I called him, and made an appointment to start working on it the next day. He arrived on time, and cleaned out the damaged ceiling, in the process finding several decades worth of botched repairs from the previous owners. He spent extra time clearing out all of the mess and fixing the whole thing, without going over the initial estimate that he gave us. He did a great job matching the repaired part of the ceiling to the rest of it.

He was very good. He was resonable and neat. He was also prompt.

Overall after waiting a week haven't heard nothing and since I also had expressed interest in having the whole casement replace since it is old, I am stumped as to why the person he said would recommend and call me hasn't done so. I'm very perplexed why you tell somebody something and you don't follow up. I have given up and will not recommend Steve's Home Maintentance to anyone.

Very well. I called about the garbage disposal and dryer vent. While he was fixing the vent he noticed the pipe by the water heater was on backwards and rusting so he suggesting fixing it too. All repairs were made with good quality and he was very nice.

He is very reasonable and is very quick. He does what I ask him to do always. He does a variety of repair jobs.

Steve returned our call promptly and was here when he promised. As in the past, he did a good job.

Steve is awesome. He is polite, courteous, professional and reliable.

He has provided an excellent service to me for a while. He was always on time, courteous and delivered something we can know is done well. I will continue to use him in the future.

Steve was very friendly and accommodating and he did an excellent job on the bathroom. Also, I hadn't noticed the toilet leaking anymore so I am pretty sure he fixed that too. I didn't have a need to go up in the attic yet so I didn't have an opportunity to see the work he did at installing the venting but based upon my satisfaction with the two other jobs, I'm sure he did a great job on that too. His price was really reasonable. Steve was definitely a hard worker for every minute he was at my house. In fact, I was sitting down in the living room and just listening to him work, made me tired :-). I plan to ask him to do other jobs for me. I would not hesitate recommending him to my family and friends.

He is very efficient and friendly and I feel that he is quite reasonable. He does excellent work.

Great job, forget exactly the cost but much cheaper than others. Did a great job fixed the problem in no time and was knowledgable and friendly

He does spectacular work. About 40 years ago we had a pipe organ installed in our living room. I decided to have it removed. When it was removed, there was a large hole left in wall,. Most recently, I had him put in a new wall, flooring, ceiling, and I was thrilled with his work. He also painted everything. He had to do alot of restoration. He is the neatest service professional I have ever had in my home. He even fit me in around other jobs. He is prompt and responsive.
