Description of Work: The overall experience went very well. The reason that my rating is a "thumbs down" is because my garage door still sticks and offers a slight delay when it is raising up. He said that he put one turn in the spring, but it seems like it needs and additional torque. The gentleman who serviced my garage door though was extremely personable and friendly. I just wish I wasn't still having an issue with my garage door.

 + -1 moreIt couldn't have been better. The serviceman was courteous, friendly and very prompt. He was knowledgeable about his work. He arrived when he dais he would, did the job and finished quickly. There was no mess so the garage doors were left clean. I would recommend this service to anyone and I will use them again if necessary.
Description of Work: I contacted Angie's List and paid to have my garage door tuned up and lubricated. The company is: Central Ohio Garage Doors I called the company after paying Angie's List and a service man, Bruce Clark, came to my house within the hour. He was very polite and lubricated and adjusted my garage door in a short time. The door now works quite well and is quieter than before. I was very satisfied with this company. I would recommend them to friends and I would use them again if I had a need.

 + -1 moreHe was extremely punctual, aririving within 30 minutes of his phone call. This was only hours after I had purchased the Angie List coupon. I was very satisfied with his professional manner and quick service. While he was here he reporgrammed the remote I had received with garage door opeiner (but never used). He was gone within a half hour and I was very pleased with the results. I would recommend Bruce and his services to anyone and will probably call him next time I have problems with my garage door. Thank you.
Description of Work: Bruce came to my home within hours of my coupon purchase and performed a tune up on my Genie garage door and opener.

Description of Work: We used one of Angie's List Deal Coupons. Garage door hadn't been serviced in several years and was stopping part way up sometimes. Bruce came out and lubricated and adjusted the door which solved the problem.

Description of Work: Cable slipped off garage door from spring - tech came out, replaced the worn cable, greased the door opener track, and balanced the whole door. Works better and is quieter than before we had the problem. HIGHLY recommend them.

 + 0 moreBruce Clark was incredibly professional and honest in his dealings with us. We had hired another company to replace a broken spring. The other company convinced us to buy two springs and to reinforce the mounting on the garage door. The next day, the garage door chain was off of its track and the other company refused to come fix it on their dime. We should have called Bruce first. We found Bruce by searching the Better Business Bureau site where he had an "A". When he came, he not only completed the work we hired him to do in an efficient manner, but he looked over the work that the other company did. He compared their pricing to his, and he was FAR lower and pointed out their shortcuts in a polite manner. We're not garage door experts, but with Bruce, we could tell that he was treating us fairly - refreshing after we were "had" by the other company! We appreciate his proactive, straightforward approach and will recommend him in the future to anyone that asks.
Description of Work: Bruce Clark (no relation to us) came to fix our garage door chain's movement after another company replaced springs and added a board that kicked the chain off of the track.
