Central Ohio Garage Door

My daughter left a rake in the trolley of the garage door. I shut the garage door and didn’t know that the rake was in the garage door. It shot one of the dollies of the track. It was on a Saturday afternoon and I was so angry with her. I called Central Ohio Garage Doors because they were the only ones who had Saturday hours. The other garage door company closed at noon and it was 11:30. These guys came out within couple of hours. The guy was so nice and he said that he knew what exactly happened. He was able to fix it within 5 to 10 minutes. He oiled it for us and he made sure that it was operating. It worked and he was on his way within half an hour. I was so pleased. He did it. He was great. I am going to use them again. He gave us a little card and I told him that I will be using them again.

I took advantage of a "Big Deal" offer to lubricate the spring, balance the door and replace the rollers with new nylon ones. The day I was ready to call for an appointment, our 15-year-old garage door opener quit working. I called Bruce who said he could be out to our house later that day. True to his word, Bruce arrived late afternoon and confirmed that our opener needed to be replaced. With his schedule, we were able to get an appointment two days later. However, Bruce called the next day to let me know that he had an unexpected appointment opening, and knowing our door wasn't working, asked if he could show up a day early to replace the opener and perform the "Big Deal" work. Within an hour, Bruce and Charles were at the house. Within an hour, they had installed the new opener, lubed the spring, balanced the door and reviewed the new opener operation with us. We were very pleased with the response to our problem, and how professionally the work was done. A+ to Bruce and the Central Ohio Garage Doors company!

They came on time. The did a good job and I had no problems.

They did very little compared to what the ad in the paper said. He done about $25 worth of work and charged me $100.

The experience was excellent. They came in one day and assessed the problem and said they would be back at a specific time in a few days. They came back and within half an hour the door was fixed. I would use them again.

My garage door wouldn't close all the way (would reverse before it got all the way down). I saw the company listed in the Big Deal list so I gave them a call. I left a message and Bruce called back within 5 minutes (it as about 12:30 p.m.) He asked about my availability around 4 or 5, and called me around 4:45 saying he was on his way to repair my garage. He and his associate promptly repaired my garage, while being thorough and friendly while doing so. I would definitely recommend him to other members. Also, I plan to call Bruce again when I'm ready to replace my garage door.

Bruce arrived promptly at our agreed upon time. He replaced the two springs and went above and beyond by lubricating the door rollers and adjusting the up and down stops on the garage door opener. It took approximately 40 minutes from start to finish. I will use him again and recommend him to others.

I really received my money's worth with this Big Deal. Bruce inspected my garage door (tightened some bolts) and fixed a very annoying squeak that two other competent service providers could not fix. Now I can listen to my garage door going up and down and not wince!

I just contacted the company yesterday and was pleasantly surprised when he called this morning to say he could be here in about an hour. When he arrived (exactly when he said he would) he was professional and personable. He went right to work. He oiled and lubed all the moving parts of our noisy garage door. He replaced all the rollers and bearings. The door that sounded like the Titanic going down is now whisper quiet. We couldn't be more pleased. As an added bonus, according to his business card, he also does other home repairs. We will most definitely call him again for garage door issues and probably for other jobs as well.

He came out first on the day I called. Assessed problem as faulty garage door circuit board. Based on this I decided to replace the opener. He called around several places to get best price for a new opener, then gave me a quote for the labor and materials. Returned the next day and installed new opener. It works great.

I purchased a big deal coupon and called him about my garage door that wasn't operating effectively, the door would go up, but not go back down on its own. I called him and he came out the same evening and performed the service to my satisfaction.

Brian arrived promptly. Took out his ladder. Assessed the problem. Replaced 2 bolts by the opener box and sprayed the springs with WD 40. After several open and close attempts with the door, it finally worked smoothly. Good job.

Bruce was awesome. He came the same day I called him and his work was priced reasonably. He saved the day as the cars were pinned in the garage with the door inoperable.

Approx. 1 week earlier I began having problems with my garage door opening using the remote garage door opener. Whether I was trying to get in the garage or out , the door would only open 6 inches and this would happen a half dozen times before it would finally open all the way. I finally went to Angies List and went through the list of repair companies deciding upon Central Ohio Garage Doors because of the price and all the positive reports they had already received just this year (2012).

I was able to get an appointment in just a couple days at a convenient time. The service person even beat me there. He tightened the chain drive, which was very loose, adjusted the motor and lubricated all the moving parts. It is now working much more smoothly and quitely. I was happy with the price and the outcome and just think the company needs to do a few things to up their game to be an "A" company. Suggestions: answer the phone with the full company name, get a sticker or magnet instead of staple gunning their card to people's walls, provide a receipt upon completion for the homeowners records, and fix whatever is leaking rust from the truck.

He scheduled an appointment for the same day that I called. He lubricated the hinges and chains. I was having difficulty with the garage door going back up after it was part of the way down, so he made adjustments to correct that. Bruce was very efficient and was finished within 15 minutes.

Great! He also gave me instructions what we could do to make our springs last longer. I was very impressed and will definitely call him if we need garage door service.

When he arrived he identified himself. Went over the entire door & opener, checked the electric from remote opener to motor that lifts the door .. explained everything that he was doing.

It went well. He was on time & went right to work. He gave me advice on what parts of garage door system to oil & how often. It took only a short time since the door was in good shape. He was friendly and answered all of my questions.

Bruce called the next day to schedule an appointment. He arrived promptly on the appointed day and very efficiently went about tuning up my garage door. He seemed very through and explained what he found and the nuances of that as he went. Very polite, friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again when I'm in need of that type of service.

Everything went very well. I bought the Big Deal yesterday and then called to make an appointment. The guy had my info right there and said they were on my side of town frequently and he could just call me when he had another appointment over here and come by then. I said sure and was quite surrpised when he called this morning and said he was available to come over if it was a good time for me. It was, and he showed up about a half hour later, performed the above services and was gone in about 10 minutes.

Fast service, on time and my door no longer wakes up my wife. Bruce responded to my email within an hour and showed up the next day as promised.

They were very pleasant. They were knowledgeable and asked if I had any questions about the service throughout my experience. He fully answered all my questions.

Personable, happy to help, knowledgable about my old door and could explain qualities of newer models.

Great! He showed up on time, I went through my list of what I expected to be done and he was one step ahead of me. Not only did he see a number of problems that I didn't, but replaced parts and got the light on the opener working again and was in and out in 30 min. Very reasonable cost and he was friendly, agreeable and professional. He's my new go to guy for anything regarding my garage door .
