the company representative sprayed the door hinges with lubricant and banged the track into a better alignment. It didn't seem very comprehensive of an inspection but the garage door does operate better. I think they fell a bit short in the professionalism area though. He arrived in a car filled with his family members and seemed in a rush to depart. Everything was so unmarked, my neighbor was even frightened and called about my safety as all she saw was a strange man with a hammer. For the small amount I paid for the Big Deal, I guess it was okay but I wouldn't think to use this company for future projects.

I called him yesterday after our garage door broke. He knew right away what the likely cause was and we scheduled an appointment for him to come out and repair it today. He arrived on time, and quickly fixed the problem.

I'd get a second estimate before going with the work of this vendor again.

The service call was made the result of my calling the company about problems with the operation of the gargage door opener. As it turned out, it was my fault that a trash container in the garage knocked one of the sensor out of place, which resulted in the erratic operation of the opener. When I called to schedule service I told the company rep (the tech who came out I believe) what was happening with the door. With these symptoms, it would have helpful if he had suggested that I check the placement of the sensors. That would have saved a service trip and money for the customer. What was charged was the amount of the service call based on a current Angie's List deal. He was on site for less than a minute. Half of the service charge would have been justifiable. I'm a repeat customer of the company and feel that based on what was done and my past business an adjustment should have been made. I'm not sure I will use the company again.

Very well. Two service providers arrived. I opened the garage door. They adjusted the door and replaced one part. Their service was efficient. They arrived during the time frame agreed upon. The door works much better than previous to the service. No additional charge was added to the Big Deal amount.

I had requested the $49.00 garage door inspection and minor preventive maintenance. Upon their initial inspection the workers could see that the wooden door was warped and they concluded it was unsafe. As a result, the door was replaced with a door with lighter materials rather than the original wood door. They also replaced an old remote door control panel mounted outside the garage. The new door was installed within two days and has been functioning well ever since.

He was very courteous. He was really nice. He was quick, he got done in 3 hours. He is clean, there were was no trash. He had an assistant with him and they did it quickly and thoroughly. He gave me some pointers about how to maintain the garage.

Called 1/23 with what we were pretty sure was a busted garage door motor (broken teeth). Door would no longer open. They came out the very next day and replaced the motor and sensors, entire system in under an hour. Worth the cost for the quick availability, with the cold temperatures and everything. I would call them again for service calls, etc.

They came out and did what they said they would do. They had to come back out for extra service.

The technician arrived on time and finished the job in a very timely manner. The garage door (which was not operating properly) has worked well ever since the repair and adjustment was made. I am quite pleased with the overall experience.

I called them on Christmas Eve and was scheduled for the 26th. Weather prevented them from keeping the appointment. They rescheduled for the following day.

This question is silly, for it essentially duplicates the one above. An epic is unnecessary. I sum up the experience with Bruce as very positive all around.

Servicemasn arrived...sprayed chain drive and wheel tracks with lubricant said I should do that a couple times a year, slapped a sticker with the company name and phone number next to my garage door opener and left

Overall very good experience.

They were easy to schedule with and arrived promptly and did their job professionally. We would hire them again.

It's a disappointing experience overall. The person who came did not have a service attitude. While the purchase was for "inspection and tune-up", he insisted that it's for inspection only. The appointment was set up for 9 to 11 am. By 10:40 am, I made a call to him and asked him when he would be able to come. He said before 11 am. I said I need to attend to something else after 11 am, and asked him the amount of time it would be needed for him to do the work. He said 5 minutes. This is when I got puzzled. Five minutes for inspection and tune-up? The person showed up at about 10:50 am. Asked me whether there is anything wrong with the garage doors. I said one of the two wouldn't run smoothly. He checked, and made adjustment. The door ran much better afterward. He was ready to leave. It appeared that he didn't even plan to check or inspect the other door, simply because I didn't mention any known problem with it. Just before he was ready to go back to his truck, I remembered that my electronic opener didn't work well. I brought it up. He asked when was the battery changed the last time. I said I had not changed the battery since purchasing the house. He laughed, saying it must be a dead battery. The funny thing is he didn't show any intention to check or verify his guess. That was not even inspection, not to mention tune-up. Just before he was ready to drive away, he suddenly remembered something. He got out of his truck and came back to my garage, and put a advertisement/reminder by the entrance door inside the garage, without even asking for permission. Till this day I have no idea what his tune-up means. But I know well enough that his "inspection" involves guessing. I'll never use his service again.

My garage door was so squeaky ( finger nails on a chalkboard ) and loud and I saw this deal and purchased it. The gentleman was punctual and efficient. Replaced and lubed all rollers. Also advised me as to what lubricant and when to lube my rollers in the future. Only thing I was not happy with was after he left I noticed that my door would not close as before. I adjusted the screw on the actual opener a few times and it shut properly after that.

He came on time, did what I expected and provided some advice. My doors are in good shape. No further service needed.

They came out to spray lubricate on the rollers. I was expecting it be greased. The service guy was able to assist me on my garage door opener without additional charge. The overall experience I had was good.

OK. He said I didn't need new rollers just new door and gave me a price when i'm ready for a new door.

The service provider arrived on time. Asked me if I had any concerns? I stated we just bought the condo and the garage door seemed to be making a lot of noise when raising and lowering, and I just wanted to make sure I didn't have any problems do to the noise. He received a phone call at that time, and was on the phone the rest of the service call. He was there a total of 10 minutes. He did spray the rollers with some kind of lubricant, stopped talking long enough to tell me who to make the check out to. I ask if there was any problems with rollers, springs, chain, tracks or door opener. He stated he did not see any reason for concern the noise was just a old opener. ( to be honest I did not see him look at anything except the rollers when he was spraying them. On 11/08/2012 the main spring broke, When the spring broke it damaged the door. I called The Door Doctor. They came out on 11/09/2012 replaced the spring, and fixed the door and did a extensive check of all the tracks, chain,rollers and opener

I called them about 5PM to schedule a time and he said he could make it out that evening at 6:30. The person that came out, I believe, was the owner. He arrived on time and was very efficient. He inspected the door, lubed the door carrier, tightened loose bolts, straightened part of the track that was bent, aligned the sensor beam, adjusted the open/close pressure/sensitivity and replaced a blown light bulb. He was here maybe half an hour. Everything went well. No problems.
