Description of Work: We were perplexed because our automatic garage door stopped opening. We replaced all the batteries in the openers, but that didn't fix the problem. We bought the "big deal" from the list and called Central Ohio Garage Doors. The technician showed up on time, took a look at the door and the openers, then noted that we'd hit a "lock" button by mistake. So the door wasn't opening because we'd locked it closed. We felt silly, but no repairs were needed.

Description of Work: All I can remember is that they arrived on time and discussed the condition of my door and the opener with us. Then, because they were in good condition they showed us how to do routine maintenance like lubrication of the tracks, etc. They demonstrated each thing and we really appreciated that as many companies will not "share" this kind of knowledge. The next time we need any kind of service on our garage door we will be calling Central Ohio Garage Doors.

Description of Work: Replaced rollers on garage door. An estimate from another vendor was $150. I purchased this service through a Big Deal. The gentleman who replaced my rollers and examined my garage door was very knowledgable and efficient. He explained what he was doing and gave me tips on the operation of my door. I would definitely use this company again

Description of Work: Wonderful service. Found a problem before it got worse. Fixed the problem and the original service for $179.00. It is like a totally different garage door now. Very professional and hard-working tech made the experience flawless.

Description of Work: The young man checked the rollers on the door, tightened the bolts (really needed) with a wrench for square bolts and found the 45 year old garage door to be in fine shape. He used something similiar to WD40 to spray on the springs and tracks and checked the opener. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: The garage door malfunctioned and came back too far breaking the plastic cover on the unit. The door had to be adjusted so it stopped at the correct spot. The service took two minutes and I was charged $65 which I thought was way more than it should have been. Update 7/28/12: I submitted a report about this company a few days ago and gave a rating of C based on what I believed was an excessive charge for the work performed. The company responded and made some valid points about the charge. I thereafter did some investigating of what other companies charge for a service call and discovered that the $65 charge is in line with what others charge. So my apologies to Bruce, and I am submitting this additional report to give Bruce an A over all rating.

Description of Work: I don't remember the exact cost - it was a good deal through a featured Angie's List deal. Easy to schedule an appointment and did a great job. Very friendly and explained a few things to us about our garage door. We would use them again!

Description of Work: I bought your deal of the day...for winter garage door tune up and also had him install a new weather strip on the bottom of my garage door. Very friendly, knowledgable, did a good job. We communicated via email before so he could bring the correct weather strip. All went well

Description of Work: Mr. Clark was very professional and gave me some great pointers to do some things on my own. Iam glad i had my first Winter Garage Tune-up. I had been having problems with my door making a lot of noise when opening and shutting. I explained what was going on to Bruce and took a look a found where the problem was. and then fixed it. Description of Work: I purchased the "$50 Big Deal" from Angie's list for garage door tune-up and routine maintenance. Bruce called me back the next morning to schedule the service (and was willing to come later after I get off work that night). Becuase I got stuck at work late tonight, he came over tonight after work (on his way home). He called at the time he said he would, arrived on time, and was knowledgeable about the parts. In fact, he said that he hadn't seen a spring/chain set-up like my old garage has in over 10 years. I asked if it needed replacing, and he was honest, saying that if it works, to leave well enough alone. He lubricated the entire system, re-attached a slider that had previously fallen off, and adjusted the travel of the door.
