It went really well. The man was very pleasant and very nice. They were real prompt and did a good job. I don’t remember when they actually came to do it. They came out three weeks or so after we purchased the big deal. The guy who was there answered questions and got back. There were no problems. He was in and out; he got it done. They were very nice. The price was really excellent. With regard to quality, it will be spring before we know if it all works really well or not. But he seemed to know what he was doing. We have all the evidence that he was there and it was done. With regard to responsiveness and punctuality, they were good. We didn’t get an exact time that they would be there; just when they got to our zip code. Three weeks was alright.

I picked up the the "Big Deal" lawn aeration and over seeding from J.Rush. The price was fantastic and they did an excellent job. The 2 guys that showed up were professional and worked quickly.

I was not present when service performed. Did not see any seed or fertilizer. Not sure if just did a good job of cleaning up after or very little product applied. I guess we will see results next growing season!?

Provider did seem a bit overwhelmed by responses from their offer and it took a while for them to set up the task. But once they did, they had to reschedule many times to accommodate the snow fall and leaf removal from my lawn. They kept at it though, and when they came, they performed the aeration and the overseeding in good time, cleaned-up and left in good order. I would use them again.

This service took place approximately 1 month ago in mid November. My yard has a number of large, mature trees and in spite of leaf removal a few days earlier, heavy rainfall & strong winds occurred one day prior to this service. My lawn was rain soaked and covered with leaves on the day the provider scheduled my service. I believe this service was ill-timed and left me with issues that had to be quickly resolved. My lawn was a mud covered mess that took a full day to clean up. there were hundreds of aeration holes plugged with leaves, clumps of sod torn out, walkways covered with mud and wasted seed on leaves only. 1) After I cleared the leaves and other yard debris, most of the new lawn seed disappeared. 2) The hundreds of leaves jammed into the aeration holes had to be removed by hand. 3) The numerous clumps of sod torn out by the equipment were reset or had to be disposed of, leaving additional bare spots. 4) My remaining task will be to aerate and reseed the yard again, but I must wait until spring due to this past month's weather. To summarize, I believe this service was ill-timed, a waste of money and resulted in a great deal of unecessary labor on my part. Furthermore, this was no better deal than the service company I previously used. Recommendations to the provider: 1. The service staff should check the site's condition prior to work taking place, which can eliminate problems like the above. 2. Contact the customer immediately with any issue(s), or leave a note on the homeowner's door, or at least take a moment to see if the customer is at home. I was at home working in my office during this service and didn't even know you were there. 3. At the very least, your staff should spot a potential worksite issue and contact your management team prior to performing any service. Please remember that most homeowners are sensible and will accept a scheduling delay rather than having to deal with problems like the above. M. Bailey

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I saw the holes for the aeration and I assume it went well. It started raining and snowing afterwards. I assumed it went well. They let me know when they were going to be there and they got it done. I didn't spend any additional. I didn't have any problem with the service. It was a decent price for all they did. I told them that I needed to know when they were going to be there so I could put the dogs up and they let me know. The only communication was by email but it was well worded.

Purchased through an Angie's Deal. Work was done fine. The only problem was with communication. There was a scheduling delay. Then we were told they would get back in touch to schedule; instead, they just showed up one day to do the work. I happened to be home when they came but they never knocked on the door, only left a card when they were done.

Performed lawn aeration and seeding.

I asked for them to call before they would arrive and they didn’t do that. I came home from work and I noticed that the lawn was aerated. They did not do it when I wanted it done and they were on a scheduled route to do the work. Their communication was lacking and I did not feel they cared about me as customer but they did do their job and it seemed it was done to my standards.

Jason is a man of his word and will use him again in the future as well as recommend him to others.

Justin was extremely responsive when I called with questions and was very kind explaining what was included in the Angie's List special that I purchased. He responded quickly to emails as well. Brian came out for the service and did a great job and cleaned up well. Very pleased with this company and will be looking to use them again in the future.

It worked out fine. The price was very reasonable. They did a good job on the aeration and overseeding. Everything was done through email. I got a notification from them saying what week the service would be performed. They came out and did the work while I was at work. They left their business card on the door. I just happened to notice the plugs in yard or I wouldn’t have even known that they had been there.

Purchased the big deal end of October. Received email communication that due to the overwhelming amount of people that purchased the deal there would be some delay in getting the job completed. The company had asked if anyone would mind waiting until spring to have the job done, however, I decided to get mine done this fall. I didn't mind waiting a couple weeks. Once the routing was planned they sent an additional email with the dates that each zip code would be serviced. I would use the company again. They were very responsive and came when they said they would. Also they did a good job from what I could tell.

They did what they stated in their advertisement - came on time, aerated the lawn... and clean the driveway so there was no obvious chemical residual left. For the price I paid for this service, I think it's a pretty decent deal. Will hire them again.

They did a terrific job. Deep aeration and lots of seeding and fertilization. The only problem I had was a mix up in the address where they did not come out when they said they would. I think they were doing a large number of homes and due to an issue with our address being on the borderline of two cities/counties, we may have been skipped accidently. So after I contacted J Rush he promptly sent out some guys to take care of the job. I would use their service again in the future.

This service is hard to rate objectively since I did not witness it and the results are largely invisible at this time. Aeration/seed and feed will not show results until the spring. I was hoping for the service earlier in the season so there would be the possibility of new growth yet this year but there was some mix-up about my address and it wasn't done when originally scheduled. Once the scheduling was settled they did it as promised.

The job entailed aerating, seeding, and fertilizing my yard. It is difficult to evaluate the quality of this kind of work and I was not there when the work was being performed so I can't even comment on what I might have observed. It is an excellent deal and I am sure that in the spring I will be very pleased with the work.

Since this was an Angie's List big deal the price was right, but I had little or no choice when the work would be completed. It turns out I was out of town when Rush Home improvements came out. My wife said, they did they aeration on the entire lot, but I won't know if it was effective until next Spring. I did have some good communication with the owner before the work was done.

J Rush Home Improvement aerated and over-seeded my lawn. The job was done as agreed. The only reason I did not rate them an "A" in every category is that I was expecting some sort of dialogue regarding the service and what more could be done to improve the look of my lawn. They were very efficient in providing the service offered as a special through Angie's List. Great value!

Aerated and over seeded the front and back lawns. I am a happy customer and will use J. Rush Home Improvements again for this service.

I got the aeration and seeding package from the Angie List offers. Good service and final product. The only down side was i purchased the offer at the end of August, and the service was preformed at the end of October due to the scope of the whole city being serviced.

NEVER, EVER HIRE THEM FOR ANYTHING YOU WANT DONE. |1) I received an email letting me know to expect them - no show, no call, no email. |2) I called and spoke with the owner - he asked me to email him (I guess because he didn't want to take the time to write it down?) |3) I emailed and asked for the work to be done or a refund issued - he responded with an apology - and said he had no idea why the work wasn't done. |4) I was promised the work would be done that week - no show, no call, no email. |5) So, now I guess I have to contact them again. |

The work was very well done. He had an overwhelming response from his Big Deal but was very responsive and communicated well with a schedule. The work was done in good time.

Not happy that service was not done. It would have been nice getting a call or email indicating that the company was backed up. Once I contacted provider, he was apologetic and offered to do work for free next Spring which I accepted. Please do not use this information in a report. I will submit a review next Spring after work is done to comment on the entire experience.

Service was originally purchased in August 2013 and work in my area was scheduled between Sept 29th and Oct 6th. Work was not done until 11\5. I had to call vendor and send multiple emails to finally get work done. I could tell lawn had been aerated but seed was barely visible and sparse. I hope if I have this done again next year things will go better.
