I started having a leak in the ceiling below my master bath/shower. Insurance brought in a plumber and determined no piping leaks/issues and said it looked to be caused by leaks in the caulking of the shower. I'm pretty handy and have done caulking before but decided to look up a professional to redo the whole shower since I didn't like the white caulk they used originally. Kevin was very easy to work with. I travel every week for work and have to get things done in tight time periods. Because this was a fairly simple job he gave me a quick estimate by just texting him pictures of the shower (~6x3x7 w/ built in bench) and even booked a service time thru text. Other contractors needed an onsite inspection first, then quote, then schedule the work. I don't have time for all that. But even after he arrived and saw the job, he thought his quote was a little high and kicked in some additional perks like glass treatment and a better matching grout that a harder install but worth it from the looks (the little things count with me). He was fast and courteous and even mentioned some work he could do to my tile floor if he was in the area and I was in town. Fast, quality service from a local guy running a business. He was really good. He re-caulked the kitchen and both of our upstairs bathroom tubs, then he cleaned and sealed the grout on the tile in the bathroom. He got really good write ups on Angie's List and he gave me a really good price when he came out. He was out here in January.

Jeff came out and gave us an estimate to clean, re-grout and seal our slate foyer. He was on time and professional. He returned to do the work and as he started he realized there was a problem with the floor-the slate had un-bonded from the slab. He informed us that if he continued, we would not be happy with the results because of this. His honesty was appreciated and he did not continue. If I have a need for this kind of service in the future, I will definitely call him again!

We've been in our house for a year and kitchen tile and grout was ridiculously dirty from years of caked on grim. I was amazed by how fresh and clean it looked after Jeff deep cleaned it and then stained the grout. It looked like new! My only regret was not doing it sooner! I would definitely recommend his service and am planning to use him again for another one of our bathrooms when we give it a makeover.

Jeff was very punctual, kind, and professional. I greatly appreciated Jeff's honesty! I asked Jeff for an estimate on an area around my shower base that needed regrouting. I happened to mention that I was planning on having the shower base reglazed. Jeff told me to save my money and not pay him to regrout the area because when my shower base was reglazed they would need to remove the grout around that area anyway. Thank you Jeff!!!

The "doctor" was punctual to the minute, got started right away, and finished in about 1 hour. He was friendly, professional, and very competent. The grout had never been cleaned other than going over it with a Swiffer wet mop, a period of 8 years. Jeff made it look like it used to. His price was very reasonable and as quoted. We will definitely use him again

My bathroom at my rental property was regrouted and a few new tiles replaced approximately (2) years ago. I recently noticed a loose area that I was concerned about, so I called. Jeff came in and assesed the situation and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes at no charge. The work he originally performed a few years ago was excellent and I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Jeff arrived exactly when he said he would. He performed the work and it looks great. Gave me the name of a person to do the tile repair and we have moved on to using the person he recommended for some tile repair.

We used Jeff several months ago to clean, stain & seal the extremely dirty & stained grout in our kitchen. He did a great job so we called him back for the shower. He responded quickly to my call for an estimate and came out the next day. He was available that same week to do the work. We have a lot of small tiles, which means a LOT of grout, and the mold & mildew was starting to take over. Jeff cleaned it all, applied a sporicidin to inhibit future mold, and sealed it. He did not try to upsell me on staining the grout because it cleaned up so well.

Jeff was extemely courteous and professional during the estimate and while performing the work in our home. The estimate process was very quick, and he provided a price immediately. He showed up exactly when he said he would to perform the work, explained what he would do and got started right away. Jeff was also very courteous when answering questions during the estimate, and while performing the work - never condescending (which is nice for someone like me who doesn't know a lot about home repair/maintenance type of issues). He sprayed down and scrubbed/wiped off all of the tile to clean it. Once it was dried, he laid down several options of grout/seal color so I could make a choice of the one I liked best and then got to work applying that. The work took about 6 hours to complete and he worked straight through that entire time - he's definitely a very hard working person! I have never priced this type of work before so I don't know how to compare it pricewise, but I felt the price was fair for the amount of work that was done and the results look outstanding! Our tile floors (and we have a lot) no longer look dingy and I think it will be a huge help as we get our home on the market soon. If we ever need grout work done in the future (in our current, or a new home), The Grout Doctor/Jeff Karam will be our first call!

Jeff was very responsive and professional. Estimate was provided within a couple of days of my initial call. Once I had agreed to the work, Jeff quickly got in contact to schedule. On the scheduled day, Jeff arrived on time, and work was executed quickly, without any fuss and per agreement. Work was completed in one day, and work area was properly cleaned up. Price was good value for the service provided.

Everything they did was great. I didn’t have any complaints. The pricing was reasonable. We were really pleased with the work. The job was done well and quickly. It was all fine. We would use them again.

When Jeff went to remove the old grout, he discovered that it was silicone caulk and not grout in between the tiles. The silicone was much more difficult to remove and took Jeff an extra two hours of work. Despite this setback, he did not charge me any extra money for the job. I paid the initial price he quoted me. Jeff said he doesn't donate to many charities and he prefers to give back to his customers. I am very grateful to him, since my husband and I are retired. I highly recommend the Grout Doctor.

I called and he came a gave me an estimate which seemed very reasonable. We scheduled the appointment and he came back and did the work. The shower looked great and made a huge difference for a small price compared to replacing shower! He worked hard and we are happy with the results.

There was just something that I wasn't very pleased with them, so I will not probably use them in the future

The turned out to be a pretty big job and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the results. We purchased our home this Fall and in addition to having all of our wood floors redone (carpets removed, sanded, new stain) we wanted to see if we could get the stone within our front entry looked at as well. It's blue slate and needed some attention (dark and dirty). The Grout Doctor came out for a look. Turns out the previous owners had put a sealant over the slate which made cleaning the stone pointless. The Grout Doctor proceeded to spent nearly a full day stripping the old sealant off and cleaning the stone and grout. He returned to apply a new coat and a fresh color (our choosing) to the grout. As I mentioned, we're very happy with the results -- the floor looks bright and new. Our experience with The Grout Doctor makes me highly recommend his services.
