They arrived on time to do the job. They finished in about 2 hours. We are happy with the job that they done.

They were very helpful in showing me which door would give me the best insulation, energy savings, and tax credit. They were very professional and quick. Their salesman was very knowledgable and made sure that I understood the differences. I have an all electric house, so energy savings is a big deal for me. They were very helpful and informative.

We had no insulation in our previous doors and bought Carriage style doors with an R 15. They came out and explained the pros and cons of each type of door that we were looking at, as well as the tax benefits. After making our decision, we scheduled installation. Because they were a special order, it took about 10 days to get the doors. The installation went very well and we love the way they look. The most noticeable differences were in the temperature of the garage (and our bedroom above) and the lack of noise that they make when they are opening and closing. It is great not waking up when my husband has to leave for work at 5:30. We could not be happier!

WOW! I wish every company was as customer service-oriented as PDQ Door! Yesterday, my sister discovered that my garage door had a problem since the door wasn't going up and down properly. I went online to look up the phone number for PDQ and discovered that I could schedule a service call ON-LINE! So, I did! I requested a service call for today between 2-4 p.m. First thing this morning, PDQ called to confirm my appointment. LOVE IT! The technician, Keith, was FANTASTIC! He arrived 10 minutes early and got to work right away. Keith explained the problem to me in terms I understood and showed me the damaged pieces. The end of the rail had a chunk of metal missing. This caused damage to the belt. He replaced both the rail and the belt, tested everything multiple times and lubricated everthing that needed to be lubricated all in about 30 minutes, start to finish. Keith was very professional, kind and courteous and excellent at his craft. Everything was under warranty, so I was only charged for the service call. I would HIGHLY recommend PDQ Door to anyone and everyone. They get it - they are service-oriented and perform quality work. Most of all, they are honest and have great people working for them.

They were punctual, courteous and the estimate was right on.

We called them in the morning to ask if someone could come out that day and give us an estimate on what to do to fix our garage door and opener. They said they would be there between 2 and 4 p.m. The technician calls at 3:25 to say he will be there shortly and 45 minutes he finally arrives, does not introduce himself, just stands there. We let him in and when he looks at the door he says, "Oh s***". I ask what he suggests we have done and he says, "I don't know". We kept asking what we should have done, and he finally says we need new cables and rollers and rattles off that it would be at least a couple hundred dollars. I ask if he will put that in writing and he begins to try to open our garage door. We asked him to leave it alone, not to bother it, as we knew the garage door was dangerous with the cable about to break in two. He proceeds to continue to open the door anyway, and tries to put the cable back on the roller. We asked him to again give us an estimate. He says, "Well, you're going to be charged "$79.00 no matter what for a service call". We told him we are not paying him anything, that we just want a written estimate. He then tries to put one of the rollers back on the door. We asked him to please stop and write down the work he would have us have done. He then says, he's not the guy who does estimates, this is a service call, he does the repairs. He says, he knows we're going to have to pay the $79.00 because that's the way his boss is. We asked him to put something in writing. He goes out to his truck, and was out there for about 5 minutes, turns his truck on, backs up and drives away!

I chose them because they were a small company. They did want I wanted. The experience was fine. Their technician seems to be knowledgeable. He was quick. Their sales person came out the same day or the next day and he scheduled the appointment for the work to be done.

PDQ was able to fix the same day. They gave me a service time window and arrived at the beginning of the window. Techician was thorough and efficient. Repair completed in 45 minutes.

I went online to the PDQ website the day I did the Angie's list search. I was able to make and confirm an appointment for the next day. They came within the two hour window of time that they gave me for the appointment and very efficiently completed their job.

They got a service man here in less than 2 hours. He quickly identified what was wrong and said that he could take care of it. He said it wouldn?t take very long and it didn?t take long. It did cost what he said it would. He was polite and seemed to know his business. He went about it efficiently and I was very pleased.

Fantastic--very professional, trustworthy...exact estimate and choices given before beginning work. Casey made it very easy to make the right choice of repair and the value it had...and charges were exactly as stated. Extremely punctual and website scheduling made it so simple--appointment confirmed in morning by phone call--and fast! Came out next morning as we could not get the door open. Excellent company to deal with and recommend them highly.

Company came out on a Friday to replace the spring and saw the damaged door. I was hoping the door could be bent back out but the repairman said no it had to be replaced. He ordered a door and was able to replace the door and springs the next Tuesday. I was happy with the work and the professionalism of all people that I spoke with. They were later than the time frame given me on both occasions and did not call to inform me they would be late, but did eventually get there and completed the work in a timely manner.

I was very impressed! I made an appointment on their web site for the next morning. I got a confirming voice-mail and the person showed up right on time. My garage door crashed to the ground after the recent storm left me without power for 2 days. One spring broke and the cable came un-done in the process. The person from PDQ recommended I change both springs, and replace the rollers. I feel like I have a new garage door! It is so quiet, and instead of making a jerking start, it is very smooth.

Our garage has a low ceiling, but PDQ said it was no problem. Their estimate was what I expected and they were VERY responsive and polite--got the job done fast and well.

On Friday before work, my garage door opener installed in 1988 decided to give up the ghost. I decided that it would be a perfect time to get a new opener and replace the old wooden door. I looked at PDQ door on Sunday evening and saw that they had on line scheduling for estimates. I scheduled an estimate for Monday at lunch time. On Monday morning they called me and confirmed the estimate. I met with a rep from PDQ Doors and he made some recommendations. The door I selected is one that is kept in stock. We set up an appointment to install on Tuesday morning. On Tuesday the installer showed up, took down the old door and opener and installed the new one in about 3 hours. Before the installer left I tested out the door and it worked great. Shortly after the installer left I tried to close the door again and it would move about a foot and then back up. I called PDQ and they sent another guy out within a couple hours to fix the door. Haven't had any problems since. The door looks great and the opener works well. I'm very satisfied.

The job went very well. The technician had an idea of the problem before he got out of the truck and had the new bracket in his hand as he walked up to the garage. He only took ten minutes to complete the job. He did check and lubricate the door before leaving.

They did a great job. Stuck exactly to the price in their ad. They came the next day. I was very happy.

Called on a Monday and spoke to Nate who was very pleasant and informative on the phone. I set up an appointment for Wednesday of the same week. Casey came out with samples of doors and literature explaining insulation and installation. He reviewed three different options in different price points and answered all of my questions. I called back on Friday of the same week and they set up the installation for Monday of the following week. The two men who installed were polite and quick with the work, and cleaned up very well after themselves. So in one weeks time, I had a new garage door start to finish. One of the other companies that I called on the same first Monday, has yet to return my call for an estimate, despite the fact that I have called repeatedly. PDQ Doors was responsive, customer-service oriented and competitively priced. I probably could have gotten the whole thing a bit cheaper with another company, but if they can't return my call, then they aren't worth my business.
