I called to ask about the apt and they told me I was out of the service area. Stephanie was really nice and apologized and advised that we just need to advise Angie's list we would get refunded.

The quality of workmanship is excellent and the price was very competitive based on other estimates I received. Since there was existing siding on the house that the new siding would touch, ARCO took some time to find a siding Manufacturer whose product matched the existing siding to a tee. The only nit I have is that ARCO called the morning of the app't to advise they would arrive within a 2-hour window. That 2-hour window came and went and they arrived about 45 minutes late. I understand that "stuff happens" however a phone call advising of their delay would have been appreciated.

The chimney didn't actually need cleaning, but I haven't used it since I bought the house so I didn't know the condition. Most of the chimney checked out fine, but the crown was cracked and needed repair and sealing. Also the flashing at the joint of chimney and roof was leaking and needed replacement. So I got a price from Arco to do the additional work and had them come back 10-10-13 to do it for approx. $1,200.00. Since they were already there and the leak needed fixing I did not get other bids, so don't know how the price compares. They were good to work with and the repairs seem to be fine since the leak has stopped, although I don't get on the roof so can't take a look. ;-) I would use again for other types of jobs around the house if they were reviewed well on Angie's List for them.

Purchased the service through Angie's list, I had to reach out to them to schedule as I had not heard from anyone. I was quickly put on the schedule. They arrived on-time and performed the services to satisfaction.

The service was great. He was a very nice guy. I signed up for him to come back on an annual basis for a chimney sweep.

They were very professional and made the effort to keep in contact with me.

They called us to schedule with some times that were immediate and others that were a little farther out. They were very flexible with our schedule. We are satisfied so far. We received the report and are figuring out what we want to move forward with.

We have been trying to coordinate our schedules. I had to cancel the initial appointment and they were able to reschedule me very quickly. They will be coming out on Friday to provide the service.

The service went really well, they did a great job.

He was wonderful. He patched inside the fire box where the mortar was. He also sealed the cap of the chimney that had several cracks. He noticed that some nail heads were coming through the shingles; he went up on the roof to put latex over them as to not create leaks. He was so nice and did a great job. I was very pleased.

They did a good job. My wife was at home at the time. They found that our roof was in good shape, and they recommended that we get a chimney cap.

He did a cleaning on 2 gas fireplaces & did a chimney repair. The work took a couple of hours and he cleaned up after the job was done. The job was done well.

They said I had a problem with Creosote rather than soot. He suggested that I have him install a product that goes on a liquid and hardens into a ceramic liner. I had him quote for that and some tuckpointing and it was pretty pricey. We did have to do a slight reschedule that morning as he was running a little late. He was knowledgeable but I didn't like how he pushed the product onto me. We held off on the work and I was pleased that he was willing to honor the Angie's List coupon after the expiration.

They tried to sell me a bunch of stuff for $1400. They showed me pictures but the pictures weren’t of my house. I’d never use them again for any roofing. He did a good job sweeping the chimney but I'd never hire them for roofing.

All went well. I had scheduled them just to clean the chimney using the Angies' List coupon I purchased. However, they pointed out several problems in the chimney and advised the glazing. As we were not surprised by their analysis of the chimney problems, we readily agreed to the glazing and feel very secure using the fireplace now that this has been done. We purchased another Angies' List coupon this year for Arco to clean the chimney, which they did in June 2014 and all was fine!

They came out and took care of the chimney sweeping, and mentioned a couple of concerns they had. Upon inspection, they found one chimney crown had significant cracks, and the other cap was rusted and leaking. The repaired and resealed the crown, and sanded and resealed the other cap. They were very nice, gave a bunch of great info, and communicated extremely well during the project. Great guys.

The chimney cleaning went very well. I called out the prior installer of the chimney cap. ChimneyTop called us immediately yesterday and was in my driveway by noon to check on their work from last year. He looked and told me there were no chips but the sealer has a look that can give that impression. He resealed it again ("since I'm here", he said) and was very profession and left me feeling like he really was concerned about making a good impression and doing a good job. All in all, things went well with both and I saved $650. in the process.

He brought a girlfriend along. That didn't impress me the least. The gutters on the back of the house overflowed with the next rain. I called him and he came back out. He told me that some things fell off from the tree and blocked it off again. He did the drain pipe again and we didn't have a problem since. He did make it right after I called him again. He wanted to charge me another $50 for making it right. I will not use them again. There was an extra charge on that one because I have more gutters. It was another $50 on top of the Angie's List deal and I expected that. He came over quickly.

The gutter specialist arrived early, worked efficiently, was very professional and repaired a big issue with our gutters. We were very impressed and would use again! We will be using them to install gutter guards in the future.
