Description of Work: We used Terminix from summer 2012- nov 2014, we originally had a deal for around $88 a treatment for carpenter ants and some other insects 4 times a per year. What they did seemed to work and we no longer saw ants in our home, but the tech never really explained much of what he was doing the first trip, so wasn't impressed. service was prompt except they would call one day before sometimes and if it was one of the indoor treatments it was an inconvenience. Then after the deal was over price shot up to $122 per treatment I believe. | so when i went to call and cancel in fall of 2014, the guy instantly said what if I give you the price of 80 per quarter to stay and said no thanks. Just give a us a fair price year round and don't use these teaser rates. we are currently looking for a new provider as small ants have returned to our home.

Description of Work: I contacted them and decided to do a annual contract and then canceled before they started. They told me my money would be refunded. I waited over a month and they told me it was waiting on approval. Finally when it hit almost 6 weeks I got a rep that got it resolved that day but one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.

Description of Work: They attempted to trap raccoons in the bedroom's crawl space above the garage. The 1st man didn't put the trap in the right place but the 2nd man analyzed it more thoroughly and found where they were entering and set the trap in a completely different area. However, no one ever came out to check the trap and replace the cat food in it. Every morning the cat food was eaten but no raccoons. I had to replace it with my own cat's food for well over a week. No one ever called me to ask what was going on. I had to call them many times. Finally, the raccoons left on their own leaving behind damage to the edge of the roof (the raccoons' doorway) for which we were charged $1242. In the end their finished work to that damaged area was very good.

THEY WERE INEFFECTIVE AND I CANCELED MY CONTRACT. THEY HAD COME BACK IN JULY TO TRY AND GET ME LOCKED IN FOR ANOTHER YEAR WHEN I WASN'T HOME AND SENT ME ANOTHER BILL. I'VE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM EVER SINCE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THIS BILL. THEY FINALLY GAVE UP TODAY WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE HUGE COLONY OF CARPENTER ANTS I FOUND WHILE REMODELING MY KITCHEN.

WE HAVE A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH THEM AND THEY CALLED TO NOTIFY US THAT WE WERE ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE TERMITE INSPECTION. THEY WILL BE COMING NEXT WEEK FOR THE INSPECTION. INSTEAD OF THE MONTHLY PROGRAM, WE ARE NOW ON THE 3-4 VISIT/YEAR PROGRAM. WE ARE PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY KEEP THE PESKY INSECTS OUT, AND WHEN WE DID HAVE A PROBLEM, THEY ADDRESSED IT ADEQUATELY. THEY ONLY THING WE DISLIKE IS THE TURNOVER IN PERSONNEL.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. HOWEVER, HIS SCHEDULE IS VERY TIGHT. HE SCHEDULES APPOINTMENTS 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH HIM DIRECTLY TO CHANGE THE APPOINTMENT. THE TERMINIX TECHNICIANS DON'T GET ON LADDERS AND REALLY LOOK TO FIGURE OUT THE REAL PROBLEM, IT'S MORE CURSORY, FAST SPRAYING. I DID NOT RENEW THE ANNUAL CONTRACT AND HAVE A BILLING DISPUTE WHICH AROSE 12-2-03, AT WHICH TIME THE COMPANY SAID THEY WOULD REFUND MY MONEY. IT IS NOW MAY 10 AND, DESPITE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS, I HAVE YET TO SEE THE REFUND.

WE HAD A CONTRACT FOR THE GENERAL PEST CONTROL FOR ONE YEAR. WHEN WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT, WE WERE TOLD THAT THE MONTHLY INSPECTIONS WOULD BE SCHEDULED FOR THE SAME DAY/TIME EACH MONTH, THAT THEY WOULD BE SCHEDULED AT OUR CONVENIENCE AND WE WOULD HAVE NO TROUBLE ARRANGING FOR A TIME AFTER 5:00 BECAUSE BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I WORK. I BELIEVE THEY CAME ON SCHEDULE ONCE IN THE 12 MONTH PERIOD. OFTEN THEY WOULD CALL DURING THE DAY LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE THAT THEY WOULD COME THE NEXT DAY, DURING THE DAY, WHILE WE WERE AT WORK SO I WOULD NEED TO CALL BACK TO RESCHEDULE. THEY GIVE YOU A TWO HOUR TIME PERIOD WHEN THE TECHNICIAN COULD COME. WE WOULD ARRANGE OUR SCHEDULE SO THAT SOMEONE COULD BE THERE AND MANY TIMES THEY EITHER DIDN'T SHOW UP OR WOULD CALL AT THE TAIL-END OF THE TWO HOURS TO SAY THEY NEEDED TO RESCHEDULE.
