Had a slow leak in one tire. They found a small screw and patched the leak with no attempt to and quot;up sell.and quot; Even though I told them I was leaving the car, they were still done in about an hour. Very clean, window to view work as it's going on, reasonable waiting area. Really appreciated that theydidn't try to talk me in to other services or new tires.

Response from Concord Auto Repair Service
"Unfortunately, (deleted member name) was unable to be satisfied. He brought his vehicle in telling us what he wanted done & with his own used parts. We redid the repair at no charge to him and once again they were used parts he supplied bc he still did not want to pay for new parts. His problem at this point was fixed. He brought the vehicle back, had repairs done & car was released. He had some issues & he got exceptional service. We went to his house on several occasions AS A COURTSEY. We eventually towed the car back to the shop and did some repairs at no charge and released the vehicle. A few days later he called to complain that the vehicle would not run. Car was towed back to the shop again where we were unable to validate (deleted member name) problems. Released the vehicle, he said he had problems again and we brought it back again. When the tow truck driver arrived he told us that he had pulled the vehicle out of a ditch. After further discussion we were informed that the front end of his vehicle had been submerged in 3 feet of water. This is information (deleted member name) had withheld from us. All of the computers for his car are right in the front wheel fender well. Eventually after several conversations, (deleted member name) admitted this to us. At this point, (deleted member name) called his insurance company. His vehicle was repaired and released a couple of weeks later. He had another problem that needed addressed as well. We installed an aftermarket part that by passed an ignition lock. This was done at HIS request and at no charge. Final repair was May 30th, 2012. (deleted member name) had returned due to some adjustments to his seat memory. My technician set these functions and also showed (deleted member name) how to set them on his own. He has now called to tell us the car is still not right and its almost a year later. I personally talked to (deleted member name). I told him that we would fix anything that was still under warranty from our repairs. (deleted member name) vehicle here March 1st 2013. His complaints to me are: 1. Front bumper is not on correct 2. Check engine light is on 3. Tire pressure light is on Front bumper is has evidence of impact. Technician realigned the bumper and realigned his lights in the bumper. Check engine light was not on at arrival. Neither was the tire pressure light. History code for check engine light has an 02 sensor code and secondary air injection code. 02 sensors were not part of original repair. Secondary air injection will fault due to H02S. After test driving the vehicle, the tire pressure monitor light came on indicating a right front tire pressure low. We replaced the left rear tpms sensor on our original repair, therefore this is a new problem. The right front tire is 5lbs low on pressure. Inspection of the right front tire reveals damaged to the inner liner of the tire. We have bent over backwards to try to please (deleted member name)."

They are all really nice and friendly. They provide car service where they take me home while they work on my vehicle and will bring it back to me or they will even pick the car up as well. I like that they are really close to my home.

Over all my experience was excellent. I used to use this shop about 10 years ago, but it got pricey and the main service writer was sort of a bozo (he's not there anymore). One of the present service writers that I dealt with, Steve, did a fine job from start to finish. He called me shortly after I dropped off the Toyota, told me the howl was a right rear wheel bearing, gave me the price for that and a new serpentine belt. I said to go ahead with the work. The car was ready a few hours later and it was fixed right the first time. Though this is my first contact with this shop in many years, I can recommend them. This shop always did excellent work years ago, but I found a lower cost shop near by that I now don't use anymore (see my other auto shop report). PS, the name on the sign outside reads "J B Auto", but the repair invoice reads "Concord Auto Service", just in case others report on this shop, it is one and the same.

All lines run in middle under floor instead of along outer edges by rocker panels. Lines not secured between wheels and master cylinder and rattle loudly against floor pan.

I have found this company to be courteous, professional and prompt. If they find, while working on your vehicle, that they don't need to do something, they won't do it or if they find something that needs to be done, they will call you up and tell you before they do it.

THEY PUT NEW REFRIGERANT IN IT WITH A SPECIAL DYE TO SEE IF THE FREON WAS GOING TO LEAK. THE FREON DID LEAK AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS. I TOOK THE CAR BACK IN, THEY LOCATED THE LEAK, AND THEY TRIED TO TAKE THE PART UNDERNEATH THE CAR APART TO TRY TO REPLACE IT. IT WAS SO CORRODED UNDERNEATH THE CAR THAT THE SCREW'S HEAD BROKE OFF. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD PROBABLY FIX IT FOR A LOT OF MONEY OR I COULD LET IT GO. I AM GOING TO LET IT GO AND SELL THE CAR. THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE SECOND SERVICE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND ARE HONEST.

WE USE Jand B FOR JOBS MY HUSBAND CAN'T DO. WE ALWAYS RECEIVE GREAT SERVICE. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. ONE TIME WE TOOK OUR CAR IN, THEY TOLD US WHAT WAS WRONG AND SAID WE COULD FIX IT. THEY WERE CORRECT. WE WERE SO HAPPY FOR THE INFORMATION, WE BOUGHT THEM A PIZZA.
