Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a landscape plan. Was contacted quickly and met with Collin who walked the yard with me and asked what the goals were. I am an avid gardener. We already had a landscaped yard but after 20 years, I wanted a fresh eye and updated look. In the spring, we reviewed the plans, selected the pavers and stone and scheduled the work. The work was completed last week and I couldn't be happier! The crew was courteous, professional and respectful. They cleaned up every day and did everything possible to minimize wear and tear on the yard. Collin was great to work with. He is knowledgeable and considered every request. Existing shrubs and perennials were placed in new locations to complement the new material. I definitely would recommend L by T and would hire them again.

Description of Work: Came out to look at job on April 22nd.Changed my schedule to accommodate their availability. Said they would get back in 7-10 days. Have not received a price and proposal as they said they would do. Have not had any contact with them since initial call on April 22nd.Bottom line is they said they were very busy and were scheduling into July. I think my job was smaller than what they wanted- so, they just walked away. To be fair they could have told me they were just too busy to do this job.

Description of Work: They did a wonderful job of mapping out a plan to landscape our property, keeping what we wanted to keep and making suggestions as to plant varieties that work well with our environment. I'd recommend them highly.

Description of Work: This was a promotion by Angie's list; the third I've tried and I have been disappointed each time. I paid $69 on January 28th for an advertised visit by a professional for a landscape plan. I was to be contacted within a couple of weeks. It is now March 10th. There has been an exchange of messages through Angies List, including a request for my phone number and e-mail address, but this supplier has yet to contact me to arrange a scheduled time for a visit. I get it about the weather, but this lack of responsiveness just isn't good enough.

Informed them that some one else outside of your list would do the job, but needed their response by 2/20/15 if they were still interested. Description of Work: Snow removal. It went very well. Terra has been providing residential snow removal for us for many years. They have yet to fail at not keeping our driveway and walks clear in a timely fashion. Always have done an excellent job.

Description of Work: A landscape plan for my backyard that tied existing features of the backyard to features that I want added. One of the new features was incorporation of a water feature. Existing features (flowerbeds) were cleaned up and reorganized to facilitate and incorporate the new features and plant material. Troy, the landscape architect listened to what I was wanting as a final result and came up with a plan that exceeded my expectations. Once the project was fully completed, I was blown away by how the backyard looked and this was in early December. I can hardly wait to see how the backyard is going to look this spring. I have worked with Troy in the past and based on his other project here at my residence, I knew I was going to get a result that was awesome. He didn't let me down. Troy was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and listened to what I was wanting to achieve in the backyard. Installation was done in a very timely manner and cleanup of the area was done completely. There was nothing I had to do after they left. Even the office staff was extremely helpful. I did not receive a manual for the pump on the water feature and the office staff followed up and mailed me a copy of the manual. I would recommend Landscapes by Terra to anyone and if there is another project here at my residence I will be making a call to Terra.

Description of Work: I used Landscapes by Terra for snow removal at my residence. When I returned home from work Monday night my driveway and sidewalks were all cleared of snow. They came like they said they would and did a very good job.

Description of Work: A company rep came to my house and I explained I was hoping to spruce up the front appearance of my house with some landscaping ideas.. I told him I probably wasn't ready to undertake a big project until this spring and I haven't heard back from Landscapes by Terra since. I assume they will present me with some options this spring.

Description of Work: I purchased the $49 3D landscape design special as offered on Angie's list. The sales person scheduled as per agreement, showed up as planned, and discussed our project. He explained it would take a week or so to get the design rendering as they were busy from the special. I had to call a couple of times and finally got it three weeks later. It was a pencil drawing that an elementary school child could have done - no 3D images, nothing creative, and nothing that I hadn't already explained to him. I wad disappointed, which I explained in an email to them. They never even took the time to make a follow-up call to offer to do something to retain my business. Hopefully anyone who hires them to do actual landscaping work will have a more positive experience.
