Company did a nice job, this is the second year we've used them for a spring clean up.

We are very pleased and so are the neighbors.

Jeff Stroupe, the owner, worked with us to develop this plan. The scope of the change from what we had was so massive that it was difficult to plan completely upfront, and Jeff gave the project constant attention to make sure things were perfect. Jeff never hesitated to redo work that was already done if it was for the best of the project. He graciously worked in our desire to keep as many of our existing plants as possible, but didn't hesitate to dissuade us if we were making poor decision. His crews are hard-working, capable, courteous, and conscientious, leaving the property clean and neat all during the process. Our home has undergone an amazing transformation, and we owe it to Jeff Stroupe and Terra Horticultural.

They are excellent! I have never had anyone work so hard for me. They were just great! They are very knowledgeable about the plants as well.

Overall they do a good job and we will continue to use them.

I requested the money back 3 times and they essentially said it wouldn't happen. I wasn't happy with the plans they submitted, but I felt pressure to hire them to do the planting and expected it to happen quickly. They pushed the install date well past when I wanted, then their appointment came and went and they did not show up. I called and they hurriedly came out to do the planting, however it was bad weather and would have stuck me with poorly planted plants. I wanted to cancel but they refused to give my money back.

I requested the money back 3 times and they essentially said it wouldn't happen. His attention to detail is exceptional and the plan was agreed. The project took about 5 days to complete (this was a complete overhaul) and I expected it to take this much time. The project itself was completed by courteous professionals. Always arrived on time and cleaned up each day. They did a fantastic job! Jeff is the only one I trust with any of my projects- big or small. Honestly, top-notch work and the absolute highest of integrity! I highly recommend Jeff and his company.

They have done a great job every time we have used them. I have them scheduled to return in the spring to perform some more work.

Not well as they forgot about us and the deposit check was already written. Very disappointing.

The bushes in front of the garage and the house were large and overgrown. On top of that the juniper bushes started dying in the spring. We were going to sell the house so the job had to be done. Jeff was the 4th and last landscaper to give us an estimate. When he learned we were going to sell the house, he revised his proposed plan to fit the budget. He came up with the lowest bid. Jeff also broke down the charges so it was clear what exactly I am paying for. During their work day, I showed Jeff our compost pile at the back and the wooden crates that held the bags of mulch and asked if they could dispose of them for me and how much he would charge for that service. He not only agreed to haul them away, he also volunteered to take away all the clutter at the back to make the outside tidy and presentable when it is time to sell - all for a very minimal fee!

When Jeff came out to give the estimate, he told me that he would need to remove the fence gate to allow easier access for the bobcat to excavate for the patio (nobody else had told me that). He also broke down the costs into phases. Although it wasn't the lowest, I felt comfortable because I knew exactly what was going to be done. They started with the patio, and then worked on the landscaping. The first day they found a problem with the design - the designer did not allow enough space for plants in front of the air conditioner so we moved the patio out a little more. They measured several times to make sure the patio was right, from excavation of the patio, to the placement of the bricks and edging. At the end of each day, they cleaned up. I now have a beautiful yard!

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE, AND VERY THROUGH IN THEIR WORK AND CLEAN UP.

All of the employees were courteous and hard working. It was a pleasant experience all the way around. They did great work and I would use them again without a doubt.

I contacted other landscape companies. They were all pretty much within the same ballpark price wise. I liked Jeff and the way he presented the ideas. Suggesting, instead of trying to sell something I didn't want. He was very concerned that I be happy with what I chose, telling me pros and cons of some of the plants and bushes I asked about. I never felt rushed during any of our meetings. He even took the time to go with me to the stone yard so that I could see first hand all of the choices of flagstone. When the work began, the workers were very quiet (except for the stone saw). They never yelled or played music like a lot of contractors do. I would recommend Jeff and his company to any one. They are very professional without being pushy. I will use Terra Horticultural again if need.

They were great and they did a great job. The pricing was fair & Bruce went above & beyond.

We originally contacted Jeff after admiring a project he had done down the street. He came out and listened as we explained our ''vision'' for the project. We had a general idea of what we were looking for, but we were looking for help on how to really dress it up. He came up with a great looking plan in a few weeks and took time to explain everything in it, from the hardscape through each plant, shrub and bush and why he chose what he chose. We also explained that we didn't think we'd could afford to do the whole project at once, so he broke it down into phases. When we finally gave the go-ahead in late November, he said they would start in a few weeks. They showed up right on schedule and did a wonderful job. Also, as the project began we realized a few of the features wouldn't quite fit as planned, so he came up with some great alternatives. Everything looks great and we are eagerly anticipating getting the second phase (flowers, shrubs, bushes) started. I would highly recommend.

Bruce and his team were great to work with. We had several meetings with Bruce prior to coming up with a final landscape plan. He even came to our house on a Saturday to help figure it out. He is very personable and we really enjoyed working with him. He definitely has a nack for attention to detail. If he didn't like something he would have it changed or do it himself. He is hands on when it comes to placing all plant material in the correct spots. All the stones for the retaining walls were hand picked, hand cut, and laid to perfection. The guys worked in 90 degree heat and still got the project done by our deadline. They never complained and were always professional and pleasant. We missed them when they were gone. Everyday they left the job site clean. We had no complaints. We are definitely going to use them in the future and we have had many compliments on our new landscaping.
