Did all work as described exept for weed around shed. When final walk through was done, it was agreed upon to put one more hosta beside shed. Hosta was placed on spot but never planted. Terra eventually agreed to replace it. Bamboo was to be removed and ground treated to kill roots. Customer had to dig out roots himself. It was agreed that a red brick edging was to be removed from front garden and debris removed. Customer did not understand that debris meant the brick edging along with the plant material. Bricks were hauled away. Terra told customer they were sent to dump. (Unlikely, undamaged bricks were probably returned to Home Depot or Lowe's for credit). When asked about confusion, Terra would not work with customer. Turn around time for return phone calls throughout entire project took weeks. Project manager 'stretched the truth' when confronted by customer and owner about why he never returned calls. Even though most of the work was done as planned, the lack of integrity, long turn around times for phone calls, and failure to work with customer made it a bad experience. I would recommend to keep searching instead of using this company. Manager has low integrity and owner does not care for customer satisfaction.

We contacted Jeff Stroupe (owner of the company) via email asking if he could come out to our house within the next week and a half to do the work. We had an appraiser coming that following Thursday. The work that needed done was extensive because our yard was a complete mess, a disaster actually! Jeff immediately responded to our email, came out within two days to give us an estimate, and immediately got the job done in plenty of time for the appraisal. We had a tight budget and Jeff worked within our budget, helping us to find ways to cut costs while protecting the quality of the work. His communication with us was excellent and immediate. He was very direct, thoughtful, and kind. He listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered exactly what we asked for (and then some). He did not try to upsell us anything. In fact, he worked at giving us the most service for the least amount of money. He has an artistic eye and a great crew. After the work was done, he came out to inspect it and to see if we were satisfied. We were!!! He is a real perfectionist. In addition to all this, he drove from Plain City to Reynoldsburg to do the work. We couldn't be more pleased. We will use this company again and again.

They were good, but very expensive. Their price was almost double of what the work was actually worth. It was over a year ago, and I don?t remember if it was for a spring or fall clean-up. They did maintenance work as everything was in a bad shape. I am going to get the same work done this time for a lot less. We cannot afford Terra Horticultural Service.

The work was completed over several days. The results looked gorgeous initially. Some hot weather hurt the plants (which was expected and they are recovering with milder temps) and some weeds came back. They also initially forgot to install some rain barrels. After some repeated phone calls everything is being addressed and repaired. They are very attentive and responsive when you can reach someone in person. It can be difficult to do though during the busy season. Once someone is aware of an issue though, they respond very thoroughly. Overall they performed well and we are continuing to use them for maintenance. We have even received several compliments from some neighbors as to how the scape improved from the weed garden the previous owner had. The lawn has also improved significantly.

Since Terra planted in late fall, we had to wait for spring to see how it would all look . Our front yard now looks terrific! Everything seemed to come up as planned. Also they transplanted my lilies into a row and they look much better now. We have received numerous compliments from all the neighbors this year about how great our yard looks. I think they were on the expensive side, but the results are terrific. Jeff had some really great ideas what to plant where. We have a lot of color and beauty now.

They did an excellent job. Also were very conscientious about cleaning up and daily tried to spray dust created from cutting pavers off of nearby trees and plants. Bruce Davis worked closely with me on the design for the steps and the new bed. He was very good about making changes in the design when I asked for them, and was patient while we waited to get approval from my condo association board.

I've used them before and they've been my regular landscape company since 2005. I'm satisfied with their work.

Architect came out to designthe installation; they gave us a quote including blueprint. During installation, landscapers realized the original plan needed to be adjusted based on the steep slope. More stairs were added at no extra cost to us, without disrupting the overall design. Stairs are attractive and sturdy, and we are very happy with them.

Verbal talk for estimate went well, although when we received the written estimate - it was not what we asked for. We wanted the plants/shrubs removed, and the estimate was for trimming them. The price was also 3 x another company. Bumper sticker on Company car for a political candidate (governor) was noticed, although this was not a factor in deciding against. (Price was!)

As always Jeff's team did a thorough job. A couple of communications glitches that were quickly worked out. Finished result was much to our satisfaction.

This is the second year we have used Terra for Spring clean up. The owner provided us with an estimate and landscape recommendations. The work was scheduled within two weeks and completed on time. The yard cleanup crew was courteous and professional and we were pleased with the results.

They are very good. I liked the hands-on service that they give me. I like that they are a smaller company, so you are not dealing with a lot of red tape and all that. They are pretty well priced. I do have a couple of issues with the walkway, but nothing major. They were a little bit late in getting back to me. They were there when they said they were going to be there.

We are no longer able to do our own yard work. Jeff (owner) has become a friend as he has advised and provided expert service to us. He understands that we wish to make our yard as maintenance free as possible, and has assisted in reaching that goal.

They were great, and did a good job. The only issue is that when we got the estimate it was suppose to include something else, but I did not get that. Other than that the estimate was fine.

They did an excellent job! He listened carefully to what I wanted and was open to other solutions. It was a very good experience overall.

They performed the work in a timely manner and the price was right.

They did a good job with removal and I have contacted them for lawn and yard work.

They have been wonderful and they have come out multiple times to provide changing ideas for landscaping. They have always been prompt and very thorough. There was a lot of work. I was undecided about what to do about the backyard and it started out with an idea like a deck or paver patio or something to finish off the backyard. I didn't even know what door to put because there were two different backdoors to go with it. They came out and provided almost 3 different sketches about their ideas, for no charge. I felt really bad for them because at the very end where I live, there is a golf course and I found out that the golf course owner may turn it into a commercial development or something. I didn't want to spend so much on my backyard to look at someone else's condo or something eventually. I pulled all the way back and I really felt bad for those guys. He completely understood and never spoke about charging me anything for the different sketches that he gave me. All the estimates were free and he gave very good ideas. Finishing off a backyard is not very cheap and they were right in the ballpark with anybody else. He was very quick on giving me references that I checked earlier on, and all the references were fine so much so that when I knew I was going to stop with the paver patio, I still had the maintenance all around the house for landscaping, mulching, hauling away debris, trimming trees, planting bulbs, transferring shrubs and all that type of stuff. I didn't even think twice to call someone else as I had them to do it and they did a wonderful job. They are very good and very patient.

They put in a brick patio, graded our front and back yard, created a lot of beds and put in some plants. They were punctual and professional. I would use them again in the future.

We found Jeff through Angie’s List after several attempts with other landscapers who either didn’t return calls or didn’t bother to follow up with quotes. Jeff worked with us to design a complete landscape plan for our home that included bedding, trees, flowers, plants, and a paver patio. We asked that he come up with a plan that we could implement over the course of a few years. In the end, we had everything complete in two full summers. The landscaping and patio turned out great. Jeff was readily available throughout the entire process. Like any complex job, there were bound to be problems but because Jeff and his crew were so flexible and he was willing to work with us to implement our vision we were able to work through those challenges.

He gave me some suggestions and it took care of it. He came out and gave me an explanation of what needed to be done, and I did it myself. He came out when he was supposed to come out and gave me the information I needed.

I would use them again in the future.

It was even better than I had expected -- I was hesitant to spend money on something I could do myself, but their work ended up being well worth the price for the time it saved me and how neat and healthy everything looked afterward. Additionally, I appreciated their professionalism.

They did a wonderful job. They gave an estimate and the final price was pretty true to that. We have used them a couple of times and they have been really personable and nice to deal with. They did a good job overall and I recommend them.

Jeff did a great job, responsive, professional. We ultimately choose to wait a year, but they will be in the mix for our next landscaping jobs.
