Everything went great. Very pleased with the work.

Outstanding! It was a small, but difficult job that other Angie vendors refused to quote. Landscapes by Terra came thru big time. I will hire no one else when it comes to the bigger, more lucrative jobs that I have coming up, since they came thru for me on this job.

Collin listened to us was willing to reuse some of the existing plants and stones that we liked. Presented several options. The landscaping looks great and we are very pleased. We had an issue with one of the trees they planted (bark was split). They replaced in a very timely manner. Highly recommend you consider Landscape by Terra. Thanks for making our look great!!!!

David designed for the front yard and the crew Josh, Colleen, and Zach did an excellent job and completed in 2 days! First day was tear out and prepared for planting next day. Second day all plants were done with mulch. Very impressive. All were very professional, Josh, the foreman, was very informative about the plants. David designed and not only showed what it would look like on the computer in different angles, but also left us a copy of each named plant along with a copy of the design. David's professionalism, putting together a design from listening to us and helping work on the total price of our project is why we chose this company. Definitely recommend and will use again.

They did a great job. Team took the time to prepare the bed for new plantings, then plant new perennials? Very pleased with their work.

Pros: Estimate and schedule on time, respectable, work crew speaks decent English, all items in contract fulfilled, decent work quality better than SAT Landscape. Cons: Price on higher side, even after Angie's 5% discount. General: David was respectable and won a new customer. I would hire again, but please reduce price a bit and you'd get A+.

I asked to have the bricks leveled and tightened in specific patio areas, some major tree work, and a spring cleanup. As a follow-on, I planned to use them for routine cleanup and misc. work this summer. They told me it would be 2 weeks for the tree work and 3-4 for the landscaping. To our surprise and without notice they showed up the following work day. That really wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have some notice to prepare for them. The patio brick work done was excellent however on their own they decided to put vertical/raised brick edges on the areas on which they worked causing the rest of the patio edges that were not raised to be done to look the same way. Also, additional landscaping was required at my expense to raise grassy areas adjacent to the raised brick edges to compensate for the higher vertical brickwork. The original contract sent to me to sign included the removal of several shrubs as an option. I clearly crossed out and removed this from the contract when I returned the contract to them because I wanted to wait and do that work myself over the next 24 months. However, on the first day they removed the shrubs anyway and installed new ones. During the project, I asked for additional brick work to be done. The brick work they do is that good- it made some other areas look bad so I had them do those as well and asked them to add some gray oval river stone (house and garage are gray) to some edge areas. However, they laid down brown, various colors and sized river rock and put it in an area where I didn't want it. They replaced and fixed that without issue. When the bill came they charged me for the labor to make the patio edges consistent all around and the labor and shrub costs for installing the new shrubs I didn't want. I complained. After some hankering they adjusted the bill for the extra labor. Bottom line, Terra does excellent work but you have to be very careful to over-communicate what you want done with them. They blew it with me when they charged me for labor for work they created by not following their own contract, and then made me argue and negotiate with them about it with them to get the bill corrected. I didn't appreciate that part. It should have been right the first time.

Did not go well. Had trouble getting any kind of work from them. It took 9 months to get one unscaled, inaccurate 24x36" drawing, several computerized drawings, and one sketchy cost estimate. I was disappointing and hoped for more professional options.

Work that was done was very nice. However I was underwhelmed with the end product. When the estimator was at my house he mentioned several suggestions that I hadn’t thought of so was excited to see the final results. Unfortunately those suggestions were not done because it would have cost ‘to much for the job’.

I thought it went really well. I liked their drawings and recommendations. My only concern was that I had to call several times to get them emailed to me. The person that came to home home was very knowledgeable and gave me suggestions for trimming my trees, too.

Really well! They did a fine job of making recommendations for my soft and hard landscaping needs. Product selection, installation and servicing were all top drawer. Couldn't be happier!

I called David Bratka to quote removing the weeds and overgrowth that had grown chest high in the wooded section that makes up 50% of our suburban yard. We had tried repeatedly to tackle the job as a DIY without success and it was unsightly and unusable. After looking at the project and talking to us about how we might use the area, David proposed we consider turning the area into a park-like setting with plantings, a dry stream bed and a large seating area which would include our fire pit. He helped us to see what we had consoldered a liability as an asset. The landscaping team lead by Josh was polite, friendly, neat, hardworking, professional and knowledgeable. As they cleared the brush, they preserved "volunteer" trees and existing ground cover that fit the new landscape. They were willing to make adjustments per our request as the project progressed. David was on site often and answered whatever questions I had. They transformed our property and finished ahead of schedule. What was once a horrible mess is now a gorgeous, functional area that adds to our property value. We are absolutely thrilled! I highly recommend Landscapes by Terra.

Had to tweak some things that weren’t drawn true to scale on the design plan, but team was easy to work with and finished product is lovely.

They stand by the word. Jeff came out as soon as I emailed him. He said he'd get a crew out...I said no hurry, but the guys came out within two weeks, pulled up every paver and added in fill where needed. 7 years after the installation and it looks like new. It's rare to find a company that does what they say...Landscapes by Terra is one of those rare ones.

Well, they came a day later than they originally said they would, but they kept working despite the intermittent showers. They completed all the work in one day, and sent someone the next day to make sure things were all cleaned up. All the workers were friendly and professional.

Very well! Great crew, knew what they were doing, quick and nice to work with.

Good drawings but expensive

Poor. While I understand that this was a sales tool, they should have provided the plan as purchased. Once we expressed that we wanted costs further broken down to make it more affordable and that we could do some of the work, the rep never responded. The plan drawn up for the front was nice but thrown together and did not include what was discussed on the first visit. Felt he was rather condescending. We wanted a plan that we never got.

They did a great job, our patio is one of the nicest parts of our house now and we are enjoying it every day weather permits.
