Spivey's did an absolutely fantastic job on our 1.5 story home! It had been around 10 years since the last painting, and the house was really starting to show some wear and tear. A lot of the nails were backing their way out of the wood siding, some of the wood was bare in various places, and the trim was beginning to sag where it met the soffits. Terry came out on Saturday to get the deposit and give us some dates when they could start work, and by the following wednesday all of the repair work was done and the house was beautifully painted! We highly recommend Spivey's to anyone looking to get their house painted, and will happily call them again next time we need something painted :)

Every time an appointment was set to come to the house, Terry Spivey was promptly there at the beginning of the time block that had been set. There were lots of colors available to choose from for the base house and trim. Terry made notes about the areas that needed painting and those that we did not want done, making sure to clarify each area to be painted. He recommended paint over stain given the age of the siding and made other suggestions. Not only was the house power washed, but the gutters and vinyl trim also received a cleaning at the same time. Terry pointed out some areas on the power washed garage door, that we had not planned to have painted, where some stains were too stubborn to entirely remove. He offered to paint the garage door and its surrounding trim for an extra $60 and I'm so glad we agreed to include it in the job. He also inquired about the worn outdated house numbers attached above the garage door and offered to remove the old and add new numbers if we wished to pick some out. We were out of town when the painting crew came back to do the caulk and paint work near the end of that same week. Our neighbors said that they did a great job. None of the landscaping around the house (of which there is a lot) was disturbed and extra small details that I would not have thought about requesting to paint (flag holder & dryer vent cover) were painted to match the house and blend in. We have found no drips or splatters on patio or brick areas. The house now looks fresh. I'm glad Terry made some of his suggestions with no pressure to add them (such as adding the garage door to the work) because it makes for a much more finished look to the entire project. Our entry way trim has never looked so good. I would definitely recommend them for painting services and would consider having them come back when we are ready for some inside paint work.

Mr Spivey and his crew first power washed the entire house and pole barn from top to bottom and scraped a large amount of peeling paint from the interior of the garage and a small entry way. He went over house, barn and garage completely, identifying many problem areas that they then fixed before painting. The shutters were also cleaned, smoothed and painted. All peeling paint was removed. They then painted everything with high quality products and left it all looking wonderful. Everything went as Mr Spivey said it would. His experience and expertise were obvious from the time he first came to give us an estimate. His crew arrived as promised and was a pleasure to work with, very professional, versatile, considerate and careful. The job was done ahead of time and looks great. We couldn't be happier with the results and are very glad that we found Mr Spivey's company through Angie's List. Thank you.

He showed up to quote the job.I spent a half an hour with him going through everything and after promising to send me a quote in a couple of days, never responded. He commented on how difficult the job would be, so i am assuming he just didn't want to do it. I wish he would have just told me that.

We have a brick and cedar ranch style home which very much needed to be painted. They sanded, scraped, caulked, and painted the cedar parts of our house, and it looks perfect. We used the same paint color and it looks as good as it did when the cedar was first added if not better. They power washed the house on the first day, and painted the next day and one-half. They were very professional, courteous, and efficient. They also cleaned up after themselves completely. I would hire this company again without hesitation. In addition, this was the most reasonable estimate that I received.

We had a great experience with Spivey's Premier Painting. Mr. Spivey came and gave us an estimate and was very professional. He wrote up the estimate and gave date ranges when both the power washing and painting would be completed. Both were completed within the designated time frames. Everyone was friendly, professional and trustworthy. The job was done very well. We had some areas that were in pretty bad shape, and they fixed everything up and made the house look great! We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Showed up on time, we walked around my home & discussed the painting I wanted done along with repair work of some wood surfaces. He was rather insistent of painting everything (trim. gutter/downspouts & vinyl siding). I requested he quote 2 estimates. One for the trim only & one for everything. He quoted only everything & it was more than 380% of the company I selected. It was not a good experience!

He pointed out one more item that needed attention that I missed. Very professional and gave me a timeline that his team could do the job. I just happened to take another bid, both from Angies list and recommended very highly

Had to wait a few weeks to start, but a highly rated company like this is worth the wait. Mr. Spivey was great to work with as well as his crew. Very fast and quality work once they got started. Wasn't feeling the "Blue (purple) Shutter color WE picked out so we asked them to return and repaint. Came as requested...for additional $340.00 charge, but quick and painless and a good job back to original trim color. Thanks.

I phoned the company to arrange for an estimate. Terry returned the call within a few hours, and set up a time to do an estimate within 24 hours. He gave me a verbal estimate while he was still at our house and followed it up a few days later with a written estimate. His pricing was very much in line with the two other estimates that I got. After signing the contract with him, he and his crew showed up when they said they would and gave us the quality paint job that we had hoped for. This alone would have earned them a very high score from me, but they had more. This is a family company. Every person on the crew was part of the family and every one of them friendly and very professional. They worked hard but carefully and quietly. They treated us, our house and landscaping with respect.

Our house is brick on the lower half and wood siding on the top half. The previous owners of our house had let it go too long without painting the siding and it was in rough shape. Spivey's did a great job and we couldn't be happier with the results. They were very professional and their price for doing the entire job, including the prep and repair work, was significantly less than another quote I received from a different company. We will definitely contact them again next time we need another painting job done.

We were completely satisfied with the service provided by Terry and his team: from initial visit to estimate to the actual work, which was completed flawlessly. We will definitely use Spivey again for our future painting jobs.

My experience with Spivey's Painting was excellent. They were very professional from start to finish. Terry Spivey was quick to respond to my request for a quote to paint the exterior trim on my home. The job was completed within the timeframe they gave me. I am 100% satisified with my experience with Spivey's Painting.

The exterior wood trim and windows of a two-story brick home were power washed and painted. The work was done in a professional manner. There were no splashes of paint on the bricks or window panes. It was completed exactly as planned and on time. The workers completed the job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. The color matching was right on. They used a high quality exterior acrylic paint. There was a small area under the eaves which was missed; however,when it was brought to their attention, they came back within a few days and finsished the job. The quality of work was well worth the cost of the job!

Requirements including color combinations were reviewed ahead of time and a written contract was delivered. Upon initiation of work the requirements were reviewed to make sure any changes were defined. All work was completed in a very timely manner. Work was interrupted by a rain day but the very next day work was completed to my satisfaction. Good professional team who get the job done on time with a finish that looks factory fresh.

Firm called before coming. They were on time and completed the work very timely. They called at the end of each day of painting to see if they had met expectations. They very professional, cleaned up at end of each day. I will go to this firm first when needing professional painting.

I e-mailed the provider for a request for quote using the e-mail his web-site provided. I got no response. Several days later I called the number provided in his web-page. I left a voice mail but nobody called me back. I called again a day later and left another voice mail and I still got no response. This whole incident occured two weeks ago so I am sure this supposedly responsive painter is never going to call me back.

Had to convince him to use a better grade paint and to put two coats on. Had to pay $1000 more for two coats even though the paint was sprayed on and not brushed on. Had to convince him not to paint downspouts and to take them down while painting. I did get $100 off the estimate due to not painting the downspouts.

(Excellent work and very professional. I contacted spiveys through cell phone number which was the fastest response. He set up an estimate appointment within 24 hours and followed through on a very timely matter. Estimate was right on for cost and didn't change after completion of work. Time frame for exterior work was 7-10 days depending on weather(which makes sense) and they were right on schedule. Workers were all very polite and professional. Excellent quality of work and we will definitely use them again for our home and for our rental properties.Thank you

These guys are very friendly and did an excellent job on the paint work. The walls and trim look very good. They went the 'extra mile' to ensure things looked nice. And were very responsive to my punch list. One area that could be better is the protection of other surfaces from drips/splatter. Interior pricing on par with other quotes. I will use them again.

Second time in two years that I've used Spivey's Premier Painting LLC for exterior painting, and I will look for more opportunities in the future to call on this provider. Once again, the quality of work was incredibly good! The crew was very efficient, tidy, prompt and thorough. The results look great! And I don't think you could find a more reasonable price out there.

It went very well. Terry and Aaron are very communicative, were open to suggestions, and were very concerned about the final appearance and quality of the job. They were prompt and on-time. I am very pleased with the final work, and would gladly use them again.

Terry and his crew of 2 were prompt, courteous and professional every step of the way. He started and completed the work ahead of schedule, communicating with me at all times. My husband is a tradesman and he is extremely pleased with the quality of work! They completely cleaned up after themselves each time.

I'd used Spivey's before for the same job (six years ago, which seems to be the normal service interval), and was pleased with the job they did. This time proved no exception; Terry showed up as scheduled to provide an estimate, I signed the contract, and he got started (weather delayed him - understandable) in a reasonable time. The job was minimally disruptive, done on time, and done beautifully. Previously, he'd used a natural stain, but suggested a cedar-colored one this time, and it looks wonderful. His people are very careful of the property (plantings around the house, the windows, etc), and clean up completely when they're done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who requires this kind of work; the house looks better than new.

His team did a great job! They painted the ceiling in the two story foyer areas, throughout the hallways and in the kitchen and family rooms. They repair the doors and fixed several trouble spots on the walls. They then painted the kitchen, hallways, up and down the stairs, two story foyer, and second floor landing. The edges were perfectly cut in and the paint job was perfect. Best of all he finished the work by Thursday and everything was completed before my family arrived. Great service.
