Description of Work: FYI: I contacted this company via an Angie's List email. By return email, Bruce Tubaugh advised that Tubaugh Remodeling LLC is not in business at this time due to a fire on 12/11/2010 which resulted in a "complete loss."

Description of Work: We recently had our bathroom remodeled by Tubaugh and the job was excellent. A few of the glass tiles cracked over the last year. We called Bruce and he came out immediately and fixed all of the tiles free of charge. We offered to pay and wanted to pay and Bruce would not hear of it. We know it was not the installation, rather the product was faulty in a few of the tiles, and unfortunately the tile distributor would not take accountability for the product. So, Bruce and his team did the labor free of charge. Again, Tubaugh remodeling is one of the best companies we have ever worked with and is worthy of all of the Service Awards Angie's List has to offer! Great people, great work, great company!

 + -1 moreBRUCE TUBAUGH GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON SAME DAY I HAD OFF FROM WORK SO I APPRECIATE HIS RESPONSIVENESS. HE EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROJECT WOULD ENTAIL AND ASSURED ME THAT THE CONSTRUCTION WORK WOULD NOT LEAVE ME WITH A MESS TO COME HOME TO. ON THE FIRST DAY HE HAD THE NEW UNDERLAYMENT AND DRYWALL PATCH COMPLETED, AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN WITHOUT LEAVING ANY DUST OR PLYWOOD DEBRIS. HE ALSO PROTECTED THE FINISH ON MY WOODEN STAIRS BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND FLOORS. BRUCE WAS FLEXIBLE IN HIS SCHEDULING, SO I COULD PAINT THE BATHROOM OVER THE WEEKEND BEFORE HE INSTALLED NEW FIXTURES. HE SANDED SMOOTH TO PERFECTION THE AREAS I HAD SPACKLED AND HADN'T YET TOUCHED UP, WHICH MADE IT EASIER FOR ME. BRUCE IS SO TRUSTWORTHY THAT I FELT CONFIDENT ABOUT NOT NEEDING TO TAKE TIME OFF FROM WORK TO BE ON-SITE, BECAUSE I COULD RELY ON HIS EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND PROFESSIONAL RESULTS. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED WITHIN A WEEK. IT WAS SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE TO SEE THIS ROOM TRANSFORMED AND UPDATED.
Description of Work: IN BATHROOM REMOVED WATER DAMAGED SUBFLOORING, PLYWOOD UNDERLAYMENT, FLOOR TILE, BASEBOARDS, TOILET, VANITY SINK, EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURE AND MIRROR. REPAIRED SUBFLOOR, REPLACED FLOOR WITH NEW UNDERLAYMENT, VINYL TILE, BASEBOARDS, INSTALLED NEW PEDESTAL SINK WITH FRAMING AND PATCHING OF DRYWALL, INSTALLED NEW TOILET, SINK FAUCET, MIRROR AND LIGHT FIXTURES. IN ADDITION, ALSO HAD NEW KITCHEN FAUCET INSTALLED. MR. TUBAUGH ALSO FIXED TROUBLESOME FRONT DOOR WITHOUT CHARGE.

 + 0 moreI PARTICULARLY LIKE THE FACT THAT BRUCE GUARANTEES HIS WORK. FOR EXAMPLE: ABOUT 15 MONTHS AFTER HE HAD COMPLETED HIS WORK ON THE FIRST BATHROOM, A TILE CRACKED AND A SHOWER COMPONENT OXIDIZED. HE REPLACED THE TILE AND HAD KOEHLER SENT HIM A REPLACEMENT PIECE FOR THE OXIDIZED COMPONENT WHICH HE INSTALLED AT NO COST TO ME. IN THE SECOND BATHROOM HE FOUND THAT THE RING AROUND THE FAUCET WAS DENTED AND IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER. I HAD NOT NOTICED THE DENT. I ALSO APPRECIATE THAT I CAN COUNT ON HIM IN AN EMERGENCY. WHEN THE SUMP PUMP GAVE OUT, HE CAME TO LOOK AT IT THE SAME DAY WE CALLED HIM AND STARTED WORKING ON IT THE FOLLOWING DAY.
Description of Work: MY HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1938. BRUCE STARTED WORKING FOR ME IN 1999. I NOW WORK WITH HIM EXCLUSIVELY. HE DID MANY JOBS FOR ME: FIXED CUSTOM MADE DOORS, REPLACED 2 FULL BATHROOMS AND 9 WINDOWS, AND HELPED IN AN EMERGENCY WITH SUMP PUMP. I WILL LIMIT MYSELF HERE TO HIS WORK ON THE WINDOWS. PLANNING: BRUCE IS VERY FOCUSED. WORK: HIS FOREMAN AND I REVIEWED THE WORK DAILY. IF PROBLEMS AROSE WE CAUGHT THEM EARLY AND RESOLVED THEM QUICKLY. WE HAD ONE PROBLEM: ONE WINDOW ABOVE THE SINK THAT I WANTED TO BE A CASEMENT WAS MISTAKENLY ORDERED AS DOUBLE-HUNG. BRUCE ORDERED A NEW WINDOW AND REPLACED IT AT NO COST TO ME. THE WORK WAS METICULOUSLY DONE. EXTRA WORK WAS DONE ON STUCCO THAT HAD ERODED BY A LEAK OF WATER FROM THE GUTTER. POST-WORK: BRUCE STANDS BY HIS WORK. COSTS: COSTS OF MATERIAL ARE SEPARATED FROM LABOR WHICH IS AN ESTIMATED RANGE. SCHEDULE: BRUCE WILL ACCOMMODATE ANY TIME FRAME. I FOUND BRUCE AND HIS TEAM CO-OPERATIVE, EFFICIENT, AND RESPONSIBLE
