We knew when we called John that this was a big job. We had removed wallpaper that had been painted over and there was still a lot of glue on the walls but the damage to the dry wall in pretty much the entire lower level was very extensive. I had my doubts that it would ever look close to acceptable. John came in and gave us a very good estimate and was able to start the following week-end. It did take a few days longer than estimated but that is because John wouldn't quit until he was satisfied with the way the walls looked. He worked days, evernings and week-ends until he got the job done. And it looks beautiful. I was beyond excited when I walked in and saw the finished product. Both John and his other painter always showed up when they said and were always so nice and friendly and easy to work with. I had my heart set on a darker color for the walls and John talked it over with me and thought that would be too dark and would make the room look smaller and suggested another color that he thought would look great. We went with the color he suggested and I am so glad we did. It is perfect. If I am ever in need of a painter again John will be my first call and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

John... and his assistant John showed up spot on time, surveyed the project and dug right in. I went to work and came back in the afternoon to a transformed house. They had scrapped the peeling paint off the window trims and painted most of them with two coats. I did not know painting could be so neat! Although they were doing outside work, I wouldn't hesitate to turn them loose on the inside. They were paining white trim on a dark grey house and the trim lines are perfect. John was paint-knowledgeable and even helped us acquire the best paint at considerable savings...making the extra effort to contact us in advance to discuss paint. Much appreciated.

Everything went well, as expected. He made it clear that they do it right.

This was an excellent experience. I was very satisfied with the service John provided for me and to my home. I have gotten several compliments on the job that was done. I will absolutely call John for my next job. The quality of the job along with the great price is fantastic!

Great work, and I am very happy with the update to the rooms painted. Furniture was carefully moved and covered and no mess was left after each day. Tape was used to achieve straight lines. The work was completed efficiently and thoroughly.

To do all this area it took about 3 days. I like the outcome of the paint job, updating my house inside considerably. Mr. Blair used paint drops on furniture and floors to protect them. He uses shoe covers or removed his shoes upon entering the house. The six doors in the hallway took a lot of time to do properly.

Mr. Blair first cleaned out the gutters on the garage and repaired the octagon vent above the garage door. Then applied wood filler in the areas that were roughened from weather. He then painted the whole garage with a paint that had primer base in it as well. Before painting he also cleaned the foundation and siding of the siding where water had splashed up onto that area, leaving it greenish. A few days later (to fit into my schedule) he also returned to recheck the roughened areas and repainted over them once more. The outcome was extremely good, making it look almost new. It had needed all this for some time.

This job took at least 3 days as there was much preparation to do before being able to paint. It was also a time when it was a little windy, so sometimes he had to stop painting so the paint would not blow onto areas not wanted. He used an air compressor to do the actual painting. Some paint did get onto some of the brush behind the fence which partly is an access area for the city, but it eventually washed off. I am in hopes it will slow the regrowth of the unwanted overhanging branches into my area as it makes it hard to mow. When he was painting the fence close to the back of my house, he hung a drape to protect the house. Some paint did get on some grass by the fence, but it also disappeared, even faster as the grass was mowed. He also suggested that the metal on the gas meter should be painted - and now it looks like new! People have asked me if I got a new fence even. The paint used I purchased ahead of time; it was Rusetoleum silver. I am pleased with this job and Mr. Blair's persistence in getting it done well.
