Power source unlimited, Mike Pettit @ at 419 260-0002 and a two man team Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 to finish up on Sunday to hook up stove and dryer and made a call back to look at charred phone jack.

Everything was terrific in all aspects. The only thing was that they wanted to do the finish work on the drywall but they were about $700 more than any of my other estimates so I didn't have them do the finish work. I just had them hang the drywall. They were prompt and courteous. They did the work in a timely manner. It was really without incident which was what I was looking for. They stuck it out for two solid weeks and did it. I would use them again.

Overall the work was very good and the room looks great. Anything that they had to change to do this work was done well (the plumbing to connect the new drain and the electrical to put in the fan and light in the ceiling over the tub).

My comments about confirm that overall - it went very well.

I contacted Home solutions regarding an estimate for a house that I was planning to buy. I was told by the person who answered the phone on Wednesday 6/1/2011 that the person coming out for estimates would not be able to come till Monday which was fine by me. So we agreed upon 5 PM since that was the best I could do given my job. I called my realtor and despite his busy schedule he was able to squeeze out some time for me on Monday. On Monday 6/6/2011, since I had not heard from them till 3PM, I decided to call and confirm. At that time I was told that 'Mike' was disinclined to come and give me an estimate since I did not own the house at that time. If they were not interested in providing their services since I was not yet the owner, they should just have said that on day one. I would have understood and would not have prompted this negative review. What was unprofessional was that they did not have the courtesy to call me, rather just tell me when I called to confirm. I had made all the arrangements with my realtor to be present when he came to give me the estimate. Now I feel like an idiot calling him to cancel on this. Overall I would call this outfit the very unprofessional!

Everything went great, except for the fact that our bathroom wall was off by 1 1/2 inches, so the tub wouldn't fit correctly. The added labor and material to fix the crooked wall increased the price by $175, but it had to be done in order to get the tub installed correctly. Other than that everything went as well as expected.

it went very smoothly. They arrived on time and completed the work quickly. Made little adjustments at my request to ensure that I was satisfied. The drywall repair fellow was unable to come the same day as the installation due to a family emergency, but did come the next day to do the required work. Everything looked very good when they were done, and I was happy with the way it all turned out. Their price was similar to other companies I had contacted but what I liked was that they handled the whole job from start to finish. Some of the other companies would do the fixture installation but expected me to find someone else to repair the ceilings.

Things went well. I would use the company again in the future.

I strongly urge you to contact this very capable, experienced company. You'll not be disappointed! After finding a broken pipe within our elderly parents' bathroom wall that had to be accessed through the dining room (a less expensive alternative to opening the bathroom custom built-in vanity wall) we called Mike Philips and Home Solutions to meet with us. Mike was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He arrived for our meeting with color samples and creative solutions for the repairs that included the adjoining living room, hall and built in linen closet. Mike's team of craftsmen were extremely professional, tidy, considerate and thorough. Home Solutions started the work on the date scheduled and completed the project on time and beautifully.

They were very responsive. They were more than willing to come back and redo things because they understood that. So I love them. I didn’t meet the actual workers and I only met the owner. He was very professional and detailed. He came in and asked me what I thought about certain things. He gave me the line item estimate and everything was on there. He did everything that was on there. The estimate was also what it cost. So he is a contractor as much as anything else. I enjoyed working with him and that’s why his crew is going to be doing the windows next since my windows look horrible now. I scheduled them to come out and it took a maximum of two weeks before they came out. The scheduling was very easy. He came out, looked, realized what I wanted to have done, gave me the line item estimate and he went from there. I have no idea about the price because I felt that there was a lot of work done for $5400. I wouldn't’t be able to comment much on their punctuality since I wasn’t here at that time. They were available anytime I called them. They came over and took my calls. If they couldn’t take it, they used to inform me that they were with the customer and would get back to me within half an hour, which they did. I would use them again.

They came on time and got right to the job and were very professional. Cleaned everything up and left no mess. They did forget to do one thing and I called them and they came right out and did what they forgot.

From the estimate to the completion of the job, we were very satisfied. All the workers always showed up daily and on time as promised. Everyone cleaned up daily and left the house very neat. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work. We love the finished product. Mike and his team of workers were top-notch and easily accessible when we had questions or needed information regarding the job.

This project started as an attempt to remodel an old bathroom. Once the room was completely gutted, we decided to remodel this entire section of the house. The ceiling and walls in the laundry room had been water damaged by a leaky roof (which was repaired earlier this year) and the old family room had been used for storage and now we wanted to turn this into a useable room for enjoying music. Home Solutions was selected as our contractor after receiving several bids (some higher, some lower). Mike was very professional in evaluating our job, proposing ideas, and following up with quotes. Our project started with the bathroom, laundry room, and hallway, all of which were on a deadline to complete as my wife was having foot surgery and I was leaving town on a lengthy business trip. Mike and his team worked very hard to meet our demanding timing. They went above and beyond to make sure that there was a functioning bath and laundry room. They even moved appliances back into place (not part of the contract) when things weren't quite ready before I had to leave town. The work was completed and, while there were minor issues with the work, Mike and his team were willing to work with us to correct any problems and make things right. I am very impressed with Home Solutions for their integrity and emphasis on customer satisfaction. We are now in the middle of the project to remodel the family room. When this is complete, I'll update this posting. At this time, we remain very satisfied with Home Solutions and highly recommend them to others.

Gutted the bathroom and installed the new fixtures. Took about seven days from start to finish.

I called the company and explained the job. Someone came to my house to look at the job. The next day they called with an estimate. They talked with the screen company. They did a wonderful job.

What I have to say I have written above.

The doors were purchased by us at a local home improvement store, we only contracted the installation. While installing the storm door there was a damaged part noticed and the installer agreed to stop back and put on the new part when I received it from the company. A minor install snafu was also addressed at that time and the result is a much more pleasing entry to the house. All of the workmen were polite, considerate and professional. They all cleaned up their work area when done. The drywall guy actually tented himself in with plastic while sanding to help keep the mess to a minimum.

Quick to quote, excellent price, repairman professionally trained. Job was done quickly and correctly, blended with rest of ceiling, you have to really look hard to find the repair site, and I know where it is, and I have a hard time telling where the repair was made.

Mike met with me and did not insist that my spouse be present which saved a lot of time and frustration on my part. He gave me the estimate at the initial meeting saving even more time, and listened to everything I wanted done, without suggesting I do things his way instead. His employee (James) did all of the remodeling. He was very particular and did an excellent job. The workmanship was outstanding. There were a few snags (flooring and tile delays and unexpected problems on another job that pulled him away for a short time) but I was informed first thing and Mike followed up to apologize for any inconvenience. Both Mike and James were considerate of my home and were careful to cover all surfaces that they walked on and clean up on a continuing basis. I would not hesitate to contract Home Solutions of Maumee Valley for future jobs as needed.

Owner Mike Phillips met with me within a day or two of my initial phone call and began the work within 1-1/2 to 2 weeks. He understood that it was important to me to get a rental house back on the market as quickly as possible. He also understood that it isn't always a good business decision to spend as much as one might wish on a rental house and was willing to work within my budget. To save cost, I wanted to reuse fixtures and materials when we could, and do as much of the work myself as possible. I'm sure it was not easy for Mike and his techs to accommodate these requests, but they worked it out to my satisfaction. At one point, when I suggested some minor modifications to work that had been done, Mike looked at the problem that concerned me, decided that the entire installation should be removed and redone, and did so, at his own expense. When I identified extra work beyond the original contract that I wanted to have done, Mike made sure that I had a quote in writing, in advance of the work and, once again, he was willing to work within my budget. A watchword of Mike's business, printed on his business cards, is "We abide by the Golden Rule." In my experience, Home Solutions of Maumee Valley, LLC lives up to this vision statement.
