Very imformational. Gave me some good tips

Mr. Goubeaux is a highly qualified electrical engineer who now works as an electrician. I do not think you could find a better person to tackle tough problems. He is both analytical and skilled in the craft. Spending time to analyze and sort out the wiring maze in our basement was not an easy task and I doubt the many electricians would undertake this labor intensive job. While we had two types of contractual agreements: fixed price for circuit box replacement and time and materials for the rest of the work, the price in both cases was fair. He always kept us informed on where we stood concerning expenditures to date and suggested when some work was not necessary or could be postponed until other remodelling was completed.

Gene always go above and beyond the call of duty. He is extremely knowlegable in what he does and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone because I just can't say enough good things about him. If you find an electrician you can trust he is worth holding on to. The only reason we had to stop using Gene is because we moved across country.

Gene was extremely thorough and explained everything before doing the job. Did excellent work. Would absolutely use again.

I got estimates from two contractors including Mr. Goubeaux for adding electrical outlets. The other guy wanted to charge me around $700 and said that he could not put them in the walls, had to put them in the floor, because of where they were located. Mr G looked more closely and concluded they could go in the wall and be run off an existing circuit, saving me money and putting them where I actually wanted them. He estimated 300 for that job. While he was there we started talking about a larger job I had wanted done but given up on because previous estimators had made it seem like a huge task: adding wall sconces on a wall that had pocket doors in it. Mr G looked closely, saw that the doors were sealed in by wainscotting so there was room in the wall to run the wires without interfering with the doors. He added that job on, working at his standard rate, and was able to get it done and also do the outlets for a total of $650 which I thought was an excellent price. He also let me do the helper work fishing the wires so I did not have to pay for two guys. He knew a lot, was no nonsense throughout and a pleasure to deal with. I will always look for him if I need electrical work in future.

Mr. Goubeaux worked around my travel plans to schedule the appointment. When he came, he listened to what the issue was and went through the various steps to locate the path of the wiring and determine where the problem lay. Since there were so many switches it was time consuming and required lots of double-checking with all the possible switch positions. He quite speedily ruled out a number of possibilities and then methodically narrowed the issue down to the faults. I was very pleased with Mr. Goubeaux's patience in diagnosing the complicated wiring. He explained the relationship of dimmers to the circuit and was careful to keep a diagram of the circuits for himself in case of future need. He also explained what had caused the smoke detector to come away from the ceiling. His helper readjusted the housing for a light over the back door so that it was in the correct position. I was very pleased to have all my electrical problems solved in the one visit.

Gene was great. He does excellent work, is thorough, and concerned that your needs are met with no surprises in the costs. He was careful to be sure that everything was well done. I was very impressed with his attention to detail.

He returned phone calls promptly and arrived just when he said he was going to. His work was first rate and he was courteous and pleasant to have around while performing it. He cleaned up thoroughly and made sure all our questions were answered before he left.

Overall everything he does works fine. He works by himself he does all of his own work hes always here when he says he gonna be here and he doesn't try and cut corners. He's very friendly and he's also professional and he can do anything I ask him to do.

This was a very big project, and he spent a lot of time with us. I would call him again for any electrical issues. I was confident that he was doing a thorough job.

Mr. Goubeaux arrived when he said he would, did the work, and left within the hour.

He came out in a very timely fashion. He was very courteous and professional. He did a great job with what he had to work with (the older fixtures of my home). Price reflects per hour cost.

It took one hour and his work was very good.

Again, overall very professional and congenial in his demeanor. He had performed previous excellent electrical work in the spring, and the circuit box was a continuation of work needed and recommended by him earlier. He came to the house prior to the work to reconfirm what was needed and the cost. He called the night before to review and confirm the starting time. Upon completion of the project he gave instructions on how to call the city inspectors and the electric company to finish the work.

They were excellent. Gene is a delight to work with. He is extremely prompt and always calls the night before to confirm that he'll be coming the next day. I felt very comfortable with him in my house and was sure that he knew what he was doing.
