The work was completed on time and the workers were very professional. They did a nice job.

Arrived as expected. Seemed uncomfortable from the moment he saw a large black man opening the door. As my first experience with this company was very positive with a very nice plumber I decided to let it go. As a physician I have to take care of and deal with all types so I let it roll off my back. He first wanted to see the water heater for flushing (they had a sale going on). He started to ask some questions about the heater which I really didn’t know only that I was told it was new when I moved in 7 years ago. He appeared irritated, and then looked and said it was at least 10 years old or so. When he said that, I was suspicious that he was now trying to get out of the flushing and try to talk me into a new heater, which I was not ready for. So I said that we can just forget that for now as the primary reason he was there was for the shower plumbing installation quote. I took him upstairs to see the shower and he once again became agitated claiming it was going to take hours to do the work. To which I asked him for the quote which he then gave to me for about 860.00. My handyman had warned me not to get robbed and gave me a ballpark about the quote I should expect; this was much higher. So when he asked me if I wanted to go ahead I said no and that I needed to get back to them after I got another quote. He said fine and left. I got another quote that same day which was about a hundred dollars cheaper and went with them instead. I didn’t put anything in review b/c I really didn’t think it was worth my time. So I had another issue come up now and Eco’s was the first number I came across and rang them up to give them another chance, only to be told that I was blacklisted from their company because of a report of being rude to a previous plumber. Came as a shock to me. When I asked in what way I was rude, they couldn’t answer my question; saying only that the technician said I was rude. Therefore my only conclusion has to be that this was race related given the attitude of the plumber after he initially saw me. This place is clearly unreliable. If they had a problem with me, they should have contacted me immediately, and at least hear my side but instead wait until I might want to utilize services to give me this bombshell. Well at the time a complaint and a bad review ( truth though it is) wasn’t worth my time but now that they have clearly shown what I believe to be racial profiling and racism? It certainly is worth my time.

Great! I would highly recommend this company for your tankless water heater needs. These folks are very professional and will do whatever is necessary to give you a proper, safe and up to code installation. The price was very competitive....not the lowest or highest quote....but very competitively priced for the market. I would hire this company again for future projects.

After remedying a broken pipe in the basement (see separate review), the Eco Plumber staff also discovered additional water seepage on our foundation walls. They scoped our outside drains and found that they were completely blocked. They also discovered that the drain that ran off of our backyard porch was only run 10 feet from the house (and not attached to the other parts of our drainage system). We decided to have all new lines installed, as well as connecting the back porch drain to the rest of the system, and had a new sump pump installed (as it turned out, our super old sump pump had no back-up battery and almost never ran anyway because it was set way too high over the drainage compartment). It was a costly job, but the basement is now very dry. Also, installed clean-outs on the downspouts so that we can unblock a drain anytime we have a blockage in the future (hopefully not needed but nice to have!). And whenever it rains, it's gratifying to see the large amounts of water spilling out of the drainage system and into the runoff gully in front of our house! The crew was very professional, did a very nice job taking up the turf and then returning it whole over the trench site. One final note: very impressive that the owner came out to inspect the site, taking pictures in part because of the great job his crew had done.

It went well. John explained the current condition of our water heater, and when we decided to get a new one, he was very good at showing and explaining the water heater options and the characteristics of each. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He contacted the installer and had him come to our house the same day.

Not well. The guys that were dispatched were friendly and on time. However, They did a quick look at the hose bib, turned it on and as I reported, no water. They then went out to their vehicle prepared the estimate. They came back in and explained to me that the hose bib needed to be replaced. $418.00 flat fee plus $100.00 for a difficult space to work in! I declined the repair. Fast forward ~ 2 weeks... I went out, disassembled the hose bib and found the stem seat washer assembly had popped off inside. I put the seat stem washer assembly back together and voila, everything worked. The point of this review is to share my disappointment that they immediately determined a replacement was required when 5-10 minutes real investigation of the problem was all that was required.

This was my 4th company to give estimate. I should've called them first. They picked up my call, were professional and friendly, and had Adam out to my house within 2 hours. He did a thorough estimate for a power vent 75 gal tank and a Halo 5 whole home water filtration system. All all of my questions were satisfactorily answered and I was sold. When I asked when the install could be done (expected 2-3 weeks like everyone else) he told me later that same day!! Charlie and Haylen (sp?) arrived and did a spectacular job. They were courteous, very professional, and very clean. The install looks beyond professional. Everything was well-explained. I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend Eco Plumbers. It's refreshing to see people who actually care about doing a great job.

Great customer service by the company. Ryan was professional and polite and explained things very well. The work was well done, and at the time stated. They called to follow up after the work was performed. The price was in the ballpark for the type of work done.. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Near fraud with the first guy, fine with the second. Lesson learned: have a frank upfront conversation about cost to avoid surprise.

Estimated services (Dec. 2018): Replace garbage disposal; Replace kitchen faucet; Replace half-bath faucet, including supply valves (2); Remove stuck shower faucet cartridge and install replacement; Reconnect sump pump discharge pipe. Total (including $300 discount) = $1262.98 Completed services (Jan. 2019): Replace garbage disposal; Replace kitchen faucet; Replace half-bath faucet, including supply valves (2) *and drain piping; Remove stuck shower faucet cartridge and install replacement; Reconnect sump pump discharge pipe; *Replace master bath faucet, *including supply valves (2); *Replace shower head. Total paid (initially) = $2137.47 When I called to arrange the estimate, I was told that they are a “5-star company.” I thought that meant that they would be the ones to work for the 5 stars, not me. The estimated fees for the services, broken down, looked fairly reasonable, but after seeing the work that was done over the course of 5 hours and doing the math, the only conclusion is that I got ripped off. *I* supplied the new disposal, all of the faucets, the shower cartridge and trim and the shower head. The only parts/materials supplied by the company were the 4 supply valves ($30 TOTAL on Amazon), the fitting to reconnect the sump pump discharge pipe (“included” in the service) , and the new pop-up assembly and p trap pipe for the half-bath (for a faucet that does not support a pop-up, mind you). Using Amazon prices again, let’s say $50 for the assembly and pipe since the new one is NOT metal like the old one was, and maybe $25 for the sump pump pipe materials. Therefore, the vast majority of the price I paid was apparently for labor and works out to over $400/hour. There are lawyers who don’t make that kind of money. And how did the addition of one faucet install, two valves, a shower head install and a new pop-up/p trap add almost $1000 to the original estimate! After about a week, while I digested what had just happened to me, I noticed water at the base of the half-bath pedestal sink where the pop-up assembly and p trap had been replaced. The technician had advised me not to bump the sink, but I didn’t think much of it as the only leaks we had in that bathroom were with the supply valves. While the sink, prior to the work, was clearly not well anchored to the wall and was a bit shifty, the piping had NEVER leaked. When I saw the water, I assumed it was coming from the faucet, it being inexpensive. Nope. It was the drain piping. Apparently, “don’t bump the sink” meant “do not so much as breathe in its general direction.” I admit that the sink did sustain a love tap from me while I was putting the supplies back in place, but again, the sink had been jiggly before I moved in over a decade ago, and there had NEVER been a leak from the piping. I called to arrange a revisit and to express my concerns over the fees. The same technician was sent out that same day, and my fee concerns were taken note of with a promise that someone else would call me back to discuss. First, the leak. When the technician saw where the leak was, he reminded me that he had warned me about the piping, and that the invoice had stated that it wasn’t “warrantied.” I didn’t remember seeing that on the invoice, and he pointed me to the service summary: “replace catridge on standing shower and lav sink on up stair bath room in master bed room and shower head furnshed by other no warranty and replace angle stop furnshed by us and replace lav sink faucet on first floor 1/2 bath furnshed by other no warranty on faucet and replace angle stop and pop up assemply and p trap furnshed by us and replace kitchen faucet and disposal furnshed by customers no warranty on part and cut pipe on drain pipe out side tie to sump pump install pvc fitting and maission band if pipe cracked we recommend dig and replace pipe” Clear as mud, but I conceded and asked point blank “Is it that delicate?” Without hesitation, he said “Yes.” He then spent the next 2 hours working to resolve the leak and anchor the sink to the wall. This was done at no additional charge, but it left me with the question - if you were that aware that a *light* bump would unseat the piping and cause a leak, why didn’t you secure the sink better the first time? The additional 2 hours of work brought down the hourly rate, so I guess there’s that, but what if the makeshift mount lets go again and the PLASTIC p trap starts leaking again? This is a serious concern for me. I received a call that same day as well from “Braun” regarding my invoice concerns. I pointed out a $65 charge for “Materials” in relation to the shower for which I provided all of the materials, as well as the nearly $300 fee to replace EACH faucet ($278.49). (The estimate I received for faucet replacement from a less well known company was a quarter of that price.) I also called out the supply valve fee - $144 EACH. $576 to replace 4 parts that I could buy on Amazon for $30. The $65 error was removed without much fuss, and the valve replacement fees were reduced to $80 each for a total credit of $321. The faucet replacement fee was shrugged off. FINAL COST = $1816.47 for installation (only) of 3 faucets, disposal, shower cartridge, and shower head; replacement of 4 valves, pop-up assembly, and p trap (provided by the company); and repair of sump pump discharge pipe. 7 hours total (just under $250/hour with the same math). This experience was not all bad. I appreciate the text and email reminders, including the name and picture of the assigned technician. I appreciate that the pricing is done real-time and delivered to my email immediately. I even appreciate that, if you miss the confirmation call, you have to call back within a certain time frame to keep your slot. The work that was done, with the exception of the p trap debacle, seems to be quality work, and we have had no further issues.* However, this is not a 5-star company. Acknowledging my own ignorance of the process and factoring in the initial discount and eventual credits after complaint, I was still overcharged. The fees are simply outrageous, and not only will I not consider The Eco Plumbers for additional work that we need done in the near future, I cannot recommend them to anyone I care about when the #1 drawback is the fee schedule which I’m guessing is fundamental to their business model. *We have had no further issues with the indoor plumbing. The sump pump, on the other hand is a different story. Somewhere along the way, after the Eco Plumber tech reconnected the outside discharge pipe, the sump pump died. To be clear, I am not blaming that on the plumber. However, it was a complete waste to have the pipe reconnected because, come to find out from the drain specialists that replaced the dead pump, the line to the curb is obviously completely wasted and needs dug up and replaced. My bad for letting a plumber “resolve” a drainage issue, but if he knew enough to know that the discharge needed to drain all the way to the street, he should have at least looked for the output (completely non-visible as it’s apparently been blocked for YEARS) and made other recommendations. Instead, he slapped it together and took my money, so that’s another $206 literally down the drain.

The first guy was polite and very respectful. He was very considerate of my floors and even cleaned when the machine dripped as we was taking it out. The guy that came the next day pretty much had the same qualities but was as tidy as the other. Both did great work.

Eco Plumbers were efficient, timely and did a great job. I was impressed with a customer service call 2 hours after my work was completed as well as a call back regarding a cost repair. Thank you to Eco Plumbers for taking a stressful situation and making it better quickly. I would use them again.

I will say this, If ever you have a plumbing emergency, Eco Plumbers are the way to go. They are number one and no one else a close second. The business has great communications with the customer, honest answers on the way to proceed and super follow up to make sure the job is done and you the customer is happy. A class act and good prices as a bonus. Shawn, our Eco expert gave great advice on the phone, showed up on time and did a great job. Thanks to Shawn and Eco plumber.

Eco Plumbers identified the problem, offered a simple solution and did the repair in 30 mins. Twp other quotes were $400-$600 more than Eco and their solutions would have caused major damage to drywall for no reason at all. Job well done!

They were very professional and knowledgeable. They did a good job.

Was told the problem was the age of the toilet and parts for that brand were not available. Also suggested if problem was with the plumbing behind the wall, that everything would need ripped out. When I got a second opinion from another company, they suggested I go buy a $15 part at Ace Hardware and replace it myself to save money. I took the second option and fixed the problem in about 10 minutes.

The service went very well. Adam Holbein came out first and diagnosed the issue. He then scheduled me for same-day install of the water heater and explained exactly what would be done. A couple of hours later, Peter Estrada came out and performed the install. The work was done well and efficiently. Both men were good about answering my questions and explaining things to me clearly. They were both professional and courteous and pleasant to work with. I have had really good experiences with the Eco Plumbers and appreciate the follow-up that they do to ensure that you will be available when they arrive, and when they're on their way, they send a text with the technician's picture so that you know exactly who's arriving at your home. They are definitely my go-to source for plumbing.

Sean did an outstanding job. He communicated each need in detail and explained the process as he went. He was genuinely concerned about doing an excellent job.

Outstanding 5 star service from every employee. Professional courteous scheduling, professional honest plumbers, fair pricing, professional follow-up. I will never consider another plumbing company, I advise you to do the same.

Chris and his helper were very professional and did a great job.

Their response time is extremely quick and the status calls were great. I've not hired for this service before so I don't know if the price is too high it was just a little more than I expected but totally with it. Later that night I had to call them to come back because it came loose and they came back the next day to correct it. Chad was great he explained everything and answered all of my questions.

Sean was professional, friendly, and helpful! He checked a number of drains and deemed that indeed the shower needed some extra help to get flowing again. We didn't have time for him to fix it the day of the diagnosis, so he scheduled a time to come back. He was always on time and fixed the problem, and let me know what had happened. EcoPlumbers is my go to plumbing company, and am always happy with their service!

Luke was very thorough and efficient and all around wonderful. There turned out to be other problems that we didn't expect. It was getting late but he didn't stop until he knew everything was fixed. He also cleaned up very well .He was very courteous and explained several options to consider later to avoid further problems. He answered my many questions and explained everything thoroughly. I will definitely use again.
