Creative Finishes Painting

I called 04/17/18 to schedule an estimate. Today is 04/24/18 with no call back. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. She stated that the "boss" will call me back. Apparently they do not want business or think professionalism is a must.

Nate was able to come in just a few days to give me an estimate. He was thorough, professional, and knowledgeable and the quote was a good price, so I cancelled the other painter I had coming for a quote and hired Creative Finishes. The crew was here four days. They were professional and polite. They explained the process/schedule to me every day and made sure I didn't have any questions. They also tried to work together in concentrated areas so they weren't spread out over the entire house all four days. They worked around my husband and I (who are home during the day) and two rambunctious dogs. While they were here we decided to have additional work done. Some of it they were able to accommodate on the spot, the rest they will return to do.

Nate was by far the most punctual, professional an honest person I met with when looking for contractors for my project. Unfortunately we had a budget buster, so t I had to do the painting myself. Which was unfortunate because the results would have been significantly better had I hire Nate. I mean who likes painting? Yuck! Will definitely be calling him for our next project.

The house looks fantastic. I have recommended the company to my daughter and my neighbor.

All went very well. Nate arrived at the time agreed for the estimate. We went with the "first available" which turned out to be a week later. The painter arrived as promised, and did a great job. We were so pleased with the results we asked Nate to estimate another room. They were able to complete it very quickly and again did a great job. We will definitely hire them again for our next project.

I would give them a full A rating. They did everything as promised and met our needs. They cleaned up after themselves.

Very well and looks beautiful! We had just purchased our home and it was terribly neglected on the exterior. We had originally hired another company (also found on Angie's List with good ratings) in May - after call backs in June, July and August and no shows on anything, we rebid the job. I explained how we had already been back and forth with another company and been VERY disappointed by the lack of follow through and responsiveness. Nate told me that he didn't think he could start the job until late September/early October. We got a call from his team in September and they shared they could get the job done. Came out and power washed and started working the following Tuesday and were done by Friday, with a walk around on Saturday to ensure we were comfortable with the end result. Nate and Robin were great and very communicative. I would hire them on the exterior work of our home again the next go around.

They did an excellent job and were very professional. We plan on hiring them for some interior painting in the future. They were far better many other painters we hired in the past.

The project went better than I could have expected. Nate, the owner, was incredibly responsive and had great ideas to help us realize our vision for the house we purchased. Every one of the people who worked on the project was professional, courteous and hardworking. The now white painted woodwork and cabinets look like a factory finish. The project was completed on time and on budget. We are already talking about the next project!

The team came in and completed the job on time, were clean and prompt. No issues and we will use them again when we look at painting the inside of the house....highly recommended!

the crews were prompt, clean and polite. They noticed that the basement was going to need at least a 3rd coat of paint to completely cover and did so. It looks nice and bright and clean....no more kid dings and dents :). Our exterior is redwood siding and needs to be painted every few years. They did a great job taping off and covering the windows to there would be no bleed onto the glass. 2 coats of paint later things are nice and bright and new. We are very happy with the job done and would hire them again in the future.

Great! The whole exterior of the house looks so much better. They were very prompt to appointment times for things I needed to be there. They got everything done in an efficient manner. The siding was completely cleaned. All trim and gutters look very cleanly painted. They replaced any bits that needed it (wood, gutter fasteners, etc). My neighbor commented on how professional and thorough they were. She said roughly, "I've never seen a painter be so thorough and clean when no one was home. They put drop clothes under their tools even in the grass."

This is the third time we've hired Creative Finishes - once to paint the trim of our previous home, once to paint a couple large rooms in our new home, and now to paint the exterior of our new home. There's a reason we keep coming back to them - they do great work! They are courteous, professional and punctual. Their crew found some water damage on the front of our home, and instead of simply painting over it, he showed it to us and repaired it to like new. We are very careful about who we invite to our home, and we've been nothing but impressed with Nate and his crews. You can't go wrong with Creative Finishes.

Nate was responsive in giving us an estimate, which we felt was reasonable given the amount of work we had done each time. He was helpful in guiding us toward paint colors. His crew was punctual, thorough, courteous, and professional. The work was finished on time. Each time, the painting has turned out beautifully. We have been very happy and we plan to hire Creative Finishes again, to paint the bedrooms in our home later this year!

Average; I don't think I had the same experience as most on this site. Pros: Nate's team was professional, showed up when they said they would, and completed on time. I really like to paint and how it finished, which was Nate's suggestion. For the amount of work they did and the price charged, I thought it was fair given their extremely high reviews on Angie's. Cons: There was a "miscommunication" regarding what drywall repairs were going to be done prior to paint. In the end, I paid the extra money, because they needed to be done, but nobody likes surprises the day before work is suppose to start. The team was obviously rushed to get everything done in two days. They had everything cleaned up already when they let me know they were done. During my final walk through I noticed a few ceiling touch ups that needed to be made and an entire wall that didn't get a second coat. They went back and got what they needed to fix it, but I would have preferred to have someone else catch these items before me because they were pretty obvious. At first I was impressed with their speed, but as I began to clean up the following day, I noticed paint spray all over the newly painted white trim, paint on the window, counter tops, and even our refrigerator. Everything came off, but I didn't like the fact that I had to do this. A few days after they came, I noticed a few drywall spots that had been repaired, but not correctly as you could see them on the wall through the paint with the sunlight coming through. I contacted Nate and he sent someone out later that week without any hesitation. Great! Unfortunately, after they made the repairs there was still no difference. I'm pretty sure they could see this even before the paint dried because the two workers left without even telling me after they had finished repainting. I ended up doing both walls myself, (re-drywall, primer, and paint) which I guess worked out because I found another two sections in our kitchen that only had received one coat. Each one of these items made me rethink my decision and collectively, I feel like there are too many negatives to offset the positives and reconsider Creative Finishes for future work.

This was a huge project that Nathan Brown and team leader Robin handled with professionalism and perfection from beginning to end. Nathan's knowledge of paint was impressive and Nathan worked with us to determine just the right color for our walls and woodwork and was always available to answer our questions. The team was on time and here every week day until the job was completed. All members of the team were courteous and informative if asked about a procedure. We are extremely pleased with the final results and have contracted Creative Finishes to paint the exterior.of our home.

We are so happy we decided to go with Creative Finishes. We had a few other estimates which were lower in price, but we ultimately went with Nathan because of his professionalism and knowledge about our projects. We couldn't be happier with the results. Our stairs, which were previously golden oak, are now painted white and have made a huge difference in our living room/entry way. It's hard to believe the handrails, spindles and risers were painted, as they look flawless - no streaks and a nice protective topcoat. Some of our walls are extremely high, but Jason and his crew did a great job handling everything. We couldn't be happier with the results and would gladly suggest others use this company as well. Jason and his crew were friendly, punctual and did what they said they would - on time and with no surprises in price.

Once again, the Creative Finishes crew did an amazing job painting for me. I used them a year ago to do outside painting and was so pleased that when it came time to do inside painting, they were my choice. I felt their price was fair and the quality of job was beyond satisfactory. There was one area in my bathroom that had some repair done prior to painting and I was not completely satisfied so I called Nathan and there were no questions asked, he sent a drywall pro made the repair and repainted the area and it is perfect. I really appreciated their responsiveness. I would highly recommend Creative Finishes Painting! And, when I am ready to do my next paint job, they are the company I will use!
