It went very well. The technician was knowledgeable, indicated we did not need to spend money for a new opener but could just work on the door so it would function properly. He also serviced the second garage door (cleaning, oiling, etc) for no additional charge. I was delighted!

They were every efficient and very pleasant in doing it.

Nick was a great person to work with, he spoke with me on the phone to try and determine the problem. He came out when he said, he would be there (we called Monday morning, he arrived at 1pm Monday afternoon), and explained what the issue was (loose lag bolts were causing the binding, along with some minor maintenance to the drive itself). Everything works great now, and working with Nick was very professional and a pleasure. We would recommend them/him to our friends...

The salesman had committed to a project that was more labor intensive than the installer had expected. The wall that was removed proved to be more solidly built than anyone anticipated, so it took several hours to demolish. Once it was down, he cleaned-up the site, and loaded all of the debris in his truck...despite the challenges of the job, the installer remained extremely pleasant. Removal and replacement of the second door was more routine, and only took about half-an-hour to complete. The doors look great, and I am one happy customer!

The salesman came to give me an estimate. Within a week, the job was scheduled. There was confusion about the availability of the installers, but the installer worked very hard to accommodate my schedule. Since I knew I would not be able to take time off work to be on site for the entire job, this wasn't a problem. The job took three days and although the installer wasn't able to work on consecutive days, he let me know in advance when he was coming, and phoned me at the end of the day to inform me of the progress. A couple of times he ran into a small problem and phoned me to make sure what he planned to do was acceptable to me. The clean up was excellent.

Great. I'm very satisfied. Vertical track had been damaged. I had just called to have it replaced or repaired. Repairman not only did that, but completely tuned up the door, replaced the worn-out pulleys, rubber-stripping, loose/missing nuts and bolts, and lubricated everything. When he was done it worked like new! Very reasonable price.

They were very prompt, polite, and professional. We chose them because they had good ratings and a reasonable price. They stuck to their estimate and they also offered a discount for being Angie's List members.

They showed up on time for the estimate, showed up on time for the service appointment, and did everything they said they would. Both the installer and the sales employee who performed the on site estimate were professional and very polite. Their price was close to $150 dollars cheaper than 2 competitors I checked with.

They were the cheapest of 3 estimates for a new door. They coordinated with me so that some one would be home when they came to install. They removed the old hardware and springs and installed a new door, springs and vinyl trim. The work was neat and fast. With in less then 2 hours we had a new door and they cleaned up after themselves and left the site neat when finished.

I thought it was excellent. They sent some out right away and he got the job done quickly. He did a really thorough job. I felt that he went out of his way for us.

They had to come out twice, but they were able to get it fixed in the end.

Unfortunately, Overhead Door could not address our special needs of a low-headroom installation in a basement with living area above. We wanted well-insulated, gray doors with windows and quiet, safe openers. Overheads doors were well-insulated but only came in white, which we would have had to paint. They could not put torsion springs on both doors but would have had to use an extension spring on one side (less safe, and noisier). They could not install belt drive openers for us, but would have used chain drives (noisier). Four other companies were able to give us a better quotes than Overhead Door could.

It was an odd experience. First, he determined that a fuse was blown. Then he asked me if I had one. I didn't and wondered why he didn't have one on his truck. He told me that they only have one or two models that use fuses. I still didn't understand why he didn't have one. Anyway, he had to run out to an auto shop to get one and then was able to repair it. I also asked him to reprogram the doors. He did so, but messed it up because now the keypad only opens one of the two doors. I haven't contacted the company yet. I'm sure that they will try to charge me for another service call, so I haven't bothered.

Very positive. I called for service at around noon and the technician was at my house at 2:30 p.m. the same day. He made the repairs quickly and efficiently. I was able to use a coupon from the phone book to reduce my cost.

We were very disappointed with the service which we received. Though the salesman was enthusiastic on giving us an estimate, the work performed was disappointing: the workers arrived a day or 2 late, damaged items in the garage, didn't remove the old garage door opener, & left garbage lying around. Weeks after the service was performed, we still await installation of a locking handle on the door as stated in the contract. I have left messages with the salesman twice that have not been returned.

It was a struggle to get the doors and openers installed correctly. We were forced to have the service techs back on three different occasions and on at least two of those visits the workers were clearly unhappy to be there. All issues do seem to be resolved, but we would try a different company before calling them again.

George was our installer. He was very nice and installed the door all by himself! The company called the day before to tell us when they would be here, and called again that morning to say it would be in about 15 minutes. He was her in 10. He did an excellent job and cleaned everything up. Their price was the lowest of the estimates we received.

They said they would try to get someone out that day. There was someone here in 2 hours to take care of the problem. He had to go back to the shop to make sure he had the correct part. We had him replace both of them while he was here. We would hire them again in the future.

The staff was professional & punctual.

The repairman came when they said he would. He was efficient and professional. The door was working fine when he left. However, the next day, it acted up again. I called and they sent someone out in a reasonable amount of time. This guy found one minor problem and fixed it quickly. He said to call again if I have any more problems. It seems to be working fine now.

CALLED AHEAD AND ARRIVED ON TIME. ENTIRE SERVICE WAS COMPLETED IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES FOR $80. SEEMED A BIT EXPENSIVE FOR THE TIME SPENT; HOWEVER, I GUESS TRAVEL TIME IS INCLUDED. EVERYTHING RUNNING FINE AND MUCH QUIETER.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND THE WORKMAN DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD, WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WERE FANTASTIC.

OVERHEAD DOOR HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN GETTING THE GARAGE DOOR REPAIRED BY REWINDING THE CABLES AND REWIRING THE ELECTRONIC EYES. ALSO WHENEVER I HAVE NEEDED AN OPENER REPAIR OR REPLACE THEY HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL.

WE CALLED THE OVERHEAD DOOR COMPANY AND THEY WERE READILY AVAILABLE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. THEY WERE OUT THAT DAY TO FIX BOTH DOORS. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND DID GOOD WORK.
